A Star's Return: Justice Asuka vs Satou Kazuma

Kazuma was right about the position being trouble because before he could react Justice grabbed his head and drove it into the ring with a DDT. A rookie mistake if ever there was one. Now Kazuma was in an even more vulnerable position the before. He needed to get out, so he tried to roll out of the ring to try and reset himself. He only hoped he could do it before Justice could try and follow it up.

It may be true that Kazuma had his heart on the right way. He looked like a man who valued the wrestling world and kept in mind not only the good things that came with it, but also the effort and sacrifice it demanded in order to reach some league like the AFW. Those were qualities Justice respected in a fighter.

But it was also true that something was on her rival’s mind that would prevent him from fully perform that night. It was as if his mind and body were hesitant because of some unknown reason. That gave Justice the window she needed to execute her DDT. The veteran wanted this move to start her good streak that would lead to a victory. But fighting like that against a relenting rival wouldn’t feel right.

“Come on, Kazuma! Snap out of it!” Justice exclaimed, scolding her rival for not being fully into the match as she lunged forward to get into a headlock. If her rival wouldn’t react she would start pushing until he would fall back and concede some terrain.

Justice rushed forward and grabbed Kazuma bringing, him into a tight standing side headlock. As she did she berated him a little for being so distracted. She was right, now was not the time to be distracted. Yes she was attractive and all, but wouldn't it be a huge sign of disrespect to her if he didn't take this as seriously as she was?

With that is mind Kazuma tried to fight back by hitting Justice with a few elbow strikes to her stomach. Hopefully it would weaken her hold on him enough to break out of the hold and follow it up with something that he hoped would start getting the match's pace in his favor.

No matter how much time it has passed since her old glory days, some things never changed for Justice. One of those things was her love for wrestling. It was on top of a ring where she felt at home and it looked like time couldn’t change that fact. Other of those things weren’t as satisfactory for the veteran. Along her career and since she became a well known wrestler some of her rivals had been really eager to prove themselves, but some other really good rivals just stood there in front of THE Justice Asuka, unable to move or make a good match.

Justice let a sigh of relief out when she noticed that Kazuma was in fact reacting to her comment. It wasn’t ill intended at all, the veteran only wanted her rival to show himself at his best. Everyone in the stands knew who she was and what she was capable of. Her career wasn’t at stake but Kazuma was a rookie in the league and the people would look every detail of his wrestling thorough. Justice wouldn’t like someone with a good character like Kazuma getting on a bad side for the crowds because of that.

But as it looked like Kazuma had gotten a hold of himself. As Justice squeezed the headlock harder the man started throwing elbows at her side to try and free himself. The first one made the veteran grit her teeth in pain. The second one elicited a pained groan and the third one forced Justice to release her rival. After getting some distance she looked at him almost in an approving way. She then raised her guard and waited for her rival’s attack.

Kazuma exhaled a sigh of relief after being released from Justice's hold but now she had her guard up, most likely ready to dodge or counter Kazuma's next direct move. He was going to need to play a bit tricky for his next move if he was going to get the match flowing at his pace. Kazuma looked carefully and noticed the ropes behind Justice. He had an idea and he was going for it.

So Kazuma quickly ran straight at Justice as fast as he could, too many a frontal assault against an opponent that was more physically stronger when they had their guard up would be reckless but Kazuma wasn't that reckless.......okay maybe if something appeared in the gacha of some of the mobile games he liked to play he'd recklessly whale on them but that wasn't what he was doing now. So right when he was within reach of Justice he shifted his path and ran passed Justice.

Kazuma ran and jumped on to the middle rope, using it as a springboard. He turned his body mid-air, with his arm raised high for a flying elbow strike. Again it was reckless that he was trying to get the momentum on his side so fast but he needed to get the fight going in his favor. He only hoped that his little psych out through Justice off enough to slow her reaction to this move.

Kazuma had shown he had some fight in him as he connected a couple of elbow strikes on Justice and made the veteran release him. No matter what his looks could hint, the man was actually quite capable of hitting hard if needed. Justice smiled to herself as it was in the middle of the fray where she felt the most alive. She had missed that explosion of adrenaline on hee body as she fought the pain in order to just keep going, one more move, one more strike. She was alive again.

Her less experienced rival responded by running at her. Justice couldn’t believe a less effective tactic than a frontal strike based on her rival’s body frame. Could it be that the man was still somehow appalled and wasn’t thinking straight? But Justice couldn’t be less right as in the last instant Kazuma shifted his direction to run past her. Then he used the ropes as a springboard to gain momentum and threw a flying elbow strike. It was such an unexpected move that it got Asuka completely off-guard, hitting her hard. At that moment the veteran realized that her rival was in fact a quite inventive oponent, capable of thinking in a very out of the box way, proving that he could be a more than worthy oponent. He got Justice hit, once. Now the veteran was resolved not to be hit again by that kind of tactics.

Kazuma's flying elbow connected with Justice but that didn't mean it was time to celebrate. If anything it meant that he needed to keep this small bit of momentum going, so he decided that now was the time to follow it up with a flurry of punches and kicks to keep the pressure going.

Punch, punch, kick, punch, kick, kick, punch. Kazuma's little onslaught was hopefully wearing her down.

"What's wrong Justice Asuka-san? You're looking a bit winded, you sure you don't want to lay down for say, three seconds?" It was a bit of a mean joke on Kazuma's part but he wanted to see if Justice still had the fire that made her a world champion.

Asuka had to admit that her rival had been intelligent and inventive in the execution of his attack, and also Kazuma proved to be sensible in strategizing and didn’t settle for that as he would try to follow up with a barrage of punches and kicks aimed at making Justice softer and ready for more complex holds and strikes. The veteran had seen this strategy before and knew that the best counteroffensive was to stop her rival before he could take off, but for now it proved to be difficult since the man was quick in her attack. Some moves she could block, some others would hit on her and make her stagger a little. Too many hits in few time.

But something like that wouldn’t be the end of someone like Justice Asuka, and her rival took some time so quip and that was the exact moment of respite she needed to start her counter offensive. While Kazuma was finishing his teasing quip Justice would take the offensive with a powerful superkick aiming to show this man that she meant business.

"What?" That was the first thought that crossed Kazuma's mind as he suddenly found himself once again looking up at the arena's lights, only this time they looked somewhat hazy. He then began to think back to what happened in the last few seconds to find the reason for his new position.

He was on the attack, his momentum was picking up with each passing second his attack continued. He stopped for a quick second to make a quick taunt when Justice unleashed a surprise superkick to his face and....Oh. That's how he ended up on the ring floor. That surprise kick threw him for a loop and now here he was dazed and somewhat confused. The crowd seemed to love it as they were going crazy if their distant sounding cheers was any indication.

Kazuma noticed a figure standing over him. It was either the referee or Justice; If it was the referee then she was probably checking if he had been KO'ed by that single kick, if it was Justice then she was probably thinking of how to best take advantage of Kazuma's completely defenseless form. Kazuma had to admit, in another context the idea of being taken advantage of by Justice Asuka would probably a dream come true.

Justice’s superkick connected without any kind of issue and sent her rival flopping on his butt and back on the mat, in a hazy state that gave away the fact that the man was still trying to process what just happened.

There were mixed sensations inside Justice when she thought about Kazuma. On one hand the man looked promising and in good form, eager to prove himself and with his heart and his morals on the correct place, but on the other hand it looked as if the man still had to find his center. Yes, he had managed to connect some good hits and was strong enough to pose a threat to Justice as the veteran wasn’t at full force yet, but Kazuma also had shown some rashness in his moves and words that could make him pay a heavy toll.

As she towered over her rival Asuka thought it was time to judge Kazuma’s true character, and that was only shown not when everything was alright but in the moment of predicament and trouble. Yes, the veteran was just about to see what the man was really made of. She smiled to herself as she was resolved to this.

With a quick grip before Kazuma could recover, Justice grabbed his ankle to secure him. Then, she twisted herself so the man would face the mat and would strain his body and legs when locking a single leg boston crab!
