Like a walk in the park

" I can make that happen, if you want. "

Shanari sat forward as one of the swans came close to them, gently patting it on the head, almost cutely.

Sarah's eyes narrowed before her. Dealing with Shanari was like dealing with a disease. And she hated doing it.

"Yeah?" Sarah asked sarcastically. "How you gonna do that?"

" It will take time and patience.. But once Cerbera is gone, you can practically take it all.. "

She gently trailed her hands up and down the swans neck and watched it run back into the pond.

Sarah scoffed uncaringly, watching the swans swim its way back to to the centre of the pond. It seemed kind of odd that swans were out at this time of night but she didn't give it much thought.

"What's the catch?" she asked disdainfully. With Shanari there always was a catch.

" Nothing really. Nothing I want from you. All I'm after is Cerbera's jewel.. I think I told you that before. "

She'd place her head upon Sarah's shoulder, not testing her, just thinking, whispering out to her.

" But I wonder if losing my sanity would be a price for power.. I'd lose sight of you, I believe. "

Sarah remembered Shanari speak of the jewel. How it was something Cerbera had and it was supposedly cursed. It sounded like a whole lot of crap to Sarah, but if the crazy bitch wanted to believe let her.

Her blood boiled when Shanari placed her head on her shoulder. She was tempted to pull her off by her hair but refrained for now. "Gee, wouldn't that be a shame," she said dryly.

" Maybe it means nothing to you Sarah, but I do care about you. So if getting you the leadership of the organization just to make you happy, I will. Because you're the only one I really trust, next to Cerbera. "

She'd close her eyes halfly as the hood shaded her well, whispering even softer at her.

" Seems like Seraphim really wants me down. "

A short white haired girl running around, seeming to be searching someone as she headed down the main streets.

Sarah didn't show much emotion to the fact that Shanari seemed to care about her so much. If that was true Shanari wouldn't have betrayed her.

Her eyes widened a bit at the mention of Seraphim. "Seraphim, huh?" she muttered. It occured to her that she hadn't seen Seraphim in a while. "Sucks to be you," she said. She too spotted the girl, another odd thing to see late at night, but she didn't pay much mind.

" I hope you won't try to hunt me down too once I've given you complete control over the Era of Hell.. Cause I'll be trying to destroy the White Gale aswell.. "

Shanari's eyes closed completely, a gentle sigh escaping her lips as she could feel the slight cold temperature increasing.

" Sarah, do you care about me? "

"If I wanted to hunt you down, beleive me, I would have done it already," Sarah answered, the tone of her voice telling her how serious she was.

Sarah sighed tiredly. She was going to knock Shanari off her soon. "Haven't we been through this already?"
