Masane's walk home.

It was getting late. The sun was down, and the place was closing down for the night. It was time to head home. Masane stepped out of the arena in a pair of blue jeans and a red spaghetti strap top. She was also carrying a duffel bag with her. Masane did not have a vehicle to call her own, so she had to hoof it every night. It didn't matter much to her though. In fact, she enjoyed the crisp night air on the walk home. She started walking out through the parking lot, her eyes looking around a little bit, always a little wary, but it was just being a little careful to her, in case a mugger tried to ambush her or something along those lines.

Masane's quiet walk through the parking lot would be interupted by a sudden noise behind her. It was the sound of footsteps running along pavement. And seemed to be coming from all directions. There was also the faint trace of a presence in the air. One thing was for sure Masane was not alone.

Masane blinked when she heard the sound of running footsteps, and looked around quick to see if she couldn't figure out where the footsteps were coming from. As they continued to grow closer, however, she turned around and dropped her duffel bag, preparing to defend herself if need be.

Masane would find no one there when she turned around, just an empty parking lot.

"Hello Masane."

The voice would come from right behind Masane, where there had been no one before. She had appeared like a spectre, with no sound giving her away. And now she stood behind the karate girl, sneering at the back of her head. The Queen of Brawl, Sarah Gatt, had come to see her.

"Miss me?"

Masane frowned a little at the voice behind her, and snerked as Sarah asked if she missed her. "Like a tumor." She replied before turning around to face her. "What do you want now? I don't have the belt anymore, I announced publicly I wasn't capable of handling it at the time. The hell do you want from me now, hm??"

Sarah smirked as Masane turned to face her, looking down at her with disgust. "I know you did," she replied wirh a sneer. "And I must say, it was the right move. You sure as hell didn't deserve it. Hopefully it's now in more capable hands, which would be any other hands but yours."

Masane shook her head, reaching down for her duffel bag and picked it back up, walking by her and slamming shoulders with her before walking by. "Your words mean as much to me as a 4 month old piece of gum that got stuck under my shoe." She muttered.

Sarah didn't lose her smirk as as Masane knocked shoulders with her. "Clever," Sarah commented, turning to face her as she walked away. "I'm just saying, I don't think people would take to kindly to the fact that their 'champion' went around beating people up in locker rooms for no apparent reason." Her voice dropped to a much deadlier tone as she said her last few words. Both she and Masane knew what she was talking about.

Masane stopped when she heard that, and sighed a little before placing her duffel bag down.

"You're right. There's no excuseable reason for that. But then again I'm sure you've no doubt have your share of backstage beatings as well. I could try to explain that she caught me in a fit of rage, but I know that's not going to mean jack to you. So here." She said, her arms at her sides while she stood up to her. "Free shot. Although, I'll let you know that I was the one who carried her to the med bay afterwards." She informed.

Sarah snorted, and walked torwards Masane as she stood still. "Oh sure, I've had my share," Sarah confirmed as she walked. "It's just weird that a girl who considers herself to have such a noble and honorable agenda to do such a thing. I've made peace with who I am, but it's you who should do some thinking. Rika was pretty broken up about it." She stood right before Masane now as she waited for Sarah to hit her. It was a pathetic attempt to make peace in her eyes.

"You know, Masane, I can beat you black and blue all day. I actually have. In fact, I've done it so many times that it's honestly gotten boring." Sarah glared down at Masane, shaking her head at the karate girl.
