Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
-VS-
Match Type: Humiliation MatchVictory Conditions:Victory is obtained by humiliating opponent to the point where they no longer wish to continue the match.
Valley Doll was going to kick Chloe’s ass. Figuratively and literally.
Even now, as she waited in the gorilla position, she found herself fuming over the little incident she and the other blonde had. It wasn’t like that was the first time she’d been cheapshotted by a future opponent. Heck, compared to the beatdown that the Dire Pack gave her back in Tokyo, a single kick to the face was light treatment. It hadn’t put her on the shelf nor the hospital.
But it had given her a black eye, one that still stung even now. It was hard to see with the makeup on, but if you were looking, you could see the discoloring over her right cheek, and it stung fierce. A constant reminder of the debt she intended to pay Chloe back. It didn’t matter than she’d never faced this woman before, nor that Chloe had more experience with this matchtype. Valley might not have had too much in the way of a plan, but that was okay. Once she’d even up the score, she could simmer down enough to think something coherent up.
As her music started and the stage crew ushered her out, Valley took a breath to calm herself, slow and deep. Chloe had done all that to get under her skin, and while she’d succeeded, Valley couldn’t let her know how well. Put on a smile, fix the posture, and go.
Valley came bursting out of the curtain with the usual routine, waving to the crowd and blowing kisses as she came down the ramp, going through her usual routine en route to the ring. She slid into the ring and popped to her feet, waving to the crowd as she circled around the squared circle, looking like everything was normal.
Except for one, small thing: Valley wasn’t wearing shoes tonight. Just her shinguards. An odd look, but this was a special occasion, and she imagined Chloe wouldn’t have a hard time figuring out why she’d made the temporary change.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Her opponent knew that Valley Doll wasn’t one that liked her opponents to keep her waiting for too long. And in this instance, she knew that Valley would be dying to get her hands on her, especially since what happened that day. She considered it something to stoke the fires a bit, get her motivated for that matchup. Such stakes were tantalizing, and matches were more fun that way. She wasn’t nervous, far from it. No other opponent got her this enthusiastic in a long time, rare for her to be this excited for a match…and also to see her fall at her feet.
For this reason, Valley wouldn’t have to wait long. Her opponent was coming.
The arena lights suddenly dimmed down, shrouding the Tokyo arena in a sudden dark glow that got the crowd buzzing and wondering what is happening. Those that are panicking of a total blackout would be shown that is not the case soon as they saw the faint swoon of lights originating from the gleam of the titantron monitors close to ringside, though the entryway, all connecting to outside of the ring. This is definitely not a power cut. What happened now has a reason. The reason being that Valley’s opponent planned for a different kind of entrance.
Drums would boom from the speakers, which had the crowd confused since it had never been heard before. The Indian-style flavour to the orchestral strings added with images of butterflies flying around, their wings shining like rubies, a stark contrast to the dim red lights from the ramp. Which would have suggested that someone would be walking down the ramp, perhaps giving the answer to the question: who does this belong to?
From the beautiful show on the monitors, a bright red light shone down as if it came from the heavens above, right at the direction of Valley who would be standing in the ring. While this would be blinding to stare straight at it, this wouldn’t be the only thing that she would see. Silhouettes of butterflies would appear and disappear, flapping at random places, suggesting there is more than one. Though one would appear at the centre, fading with each closing flap of its wings and reappearing when shown up again. The last time those wings appeared wouldn’t be linked to its insect form. A human with wings descending down to the ring. As soon as she touched the floor, the lights came back on as standard, the red hue dispersing from the whole arena, standing before the famed Valley Doll.
Gazing at the other blonde, the slightest sliver of a smile formed on her ruby lips. Without warning, the ex-commissioner would shoot out a kick past the slit of her skirt, the strong, toned leg streaking fast towards Valley Doll…only to stop just an inch from that cheek. Same cheek. Same foot. The reasoning would be lost on the audience, who were enamoured with the impressive display. All except for the Californian standing before her.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Kids today and their big, elaborate entrances. Whatever happened to just dancing down to the ring, flipping the fans off or giving them a high five? No, everyone these days had to make the biggest, grandest entrance, like each match was the biggest deal of all time, and then when the PPVs came around, they couldn’t outdo themselves. Rather silly, really.
Not to say the beauty of it was lost on Valley, however. Not even close. She looked on, awestruck, as Chloe came in with the image of butterflies, arriving with this great motif. Dancers. Lights. Elaborate setup. While she would still say it was a bit much, she couldn’t help but get swept away in the majesty of it all. She guessed that was the point. Trying to distract her, get her off her guard by the amazement.
It almost worked, too, as Chloe was quick to demonstrate.
The kick came at Valley fast, just as she opened her mouth to complement the other blonde for her grandiose display. Caught off guard, the Slamazon leaped back and nearly slipped on her toes, stumbling away. Her surprised gaze hardened in an instant, and she immediately charged forward, more than ready to kick this match off right away.
And she might have, too. If not for the referee. ”Hey, whoa!” She got between them and shot her arms out. ”Not until I ring the bell! Back, you two!”
Valley’s face scrunched up, gritting her teeth as she stared at Chloe, but she obeyed the referee...for now. She’d been chomping at the bit to get her feet on this woman for a week now, and ten more seconds wouldn’t kill her.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Chloe could not help but give a slight chuckle at the sight of it all.
For Valley, this almost seemed like a massive case of Déjà Vu happening. A kick like that would have been easier to deal with, had she been ready for it. Guard up, battle-ready. However, she was caught slacking even before the bell had rung. Relaxed and from the looks of it, in complete awe of the majesty of it all. True, this was the most grandiose of entrances that Chloe had ever done, even the usual tall, hulking bodyguards were far from sight. Mostly because the blonde didn’t need them this time. She couldn’t help but be amused of sending Valley stumbling back, all shook. A brief second where Chloe’s foot hovered right in the same target as to where her face would be. Soon as she saw that surprised gaze hardened, her leg came down. Though it wasn’t just for Valley. But also, the referee that came in between them.
Chloe would admit that she didn’t want another referee barge right into the point where she would be stumbling back, especially as her leg was still up in the air. Flashbacks of her last match with Sin did bring a cause of concern, but this new one wasn’t that bad. Didn’t get too much in their way, but not utterly hands-off with everything. Such actions tell that she had done this for a long time, unlike that rookie that that came in with stupid decisions coming en masse. Chloe kept that serene, mischievous smile, one that screamed of a Bond villain as Valley was denied ripping a new one on Chloe. Not that this would be easy if she tried to.
“Oh, don’t get your panties in a twist. I wasn’t going to hit you.” The ex-commissioner grinned at Valley, seeing the face all scrunched up, baring her teeth. Such a sight to behold. “If I was, you would have been knocked out. Again.” The crowd wouldn’t have known what that actually meant, but both blondes know.
She chewed her lower lip a tad, a curious eyebrow looking over Valley’s features until she focused on one thing. The very thing that she was trying to hide. Ah. So that left a mark. The lady in red leaned her body slight at the direction of the referee, still keeping her eyes on her opponent. “If I were you, I wouldn’t try to get in the way. Unless…if, you want that to happen again.” She figured that management would have probably sent a warning after that incident. Although this would have been towards Sin, this would likely involve her too.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
The referee wasn’t sure what Chloe and Valley were talking about, but then, she didn’t need to know. The AFW was unique from a lot of other federations that let their dirty laundry fly all over the place - here, private matters tended to stay private until they spilled into the ring. It wasn’t uncommon for a fued to boil over for weeks until a referee was thrown into the mix.
This, however, felt a little different than usual. Particularly hot, for two wrestlers who couldn’t have even known each other that long. She didn’t know what had transpired behind closed doors, and frankly, she didn’t want.
Valley stayed focused on Chloe as she took a step back and gave them some room, only breaking her gaze when the subject temporarily went to the referee. She’d done enough of her homework to know what happened to the last referee that shared a ring with this woman, and she could only imagine the straw pulling that it had taken to get this one to take the job. It wouldn’t be a problem, though - that sort of thing wasn’t happening, so long as Valley had anything to say about it.
”Over here, Chloe.” Valley clapped her hands and started bouncing on her feet, shifting weight, getting loose. She had to be at the top of her game for this. [color:0c98=ff00ff]”I’m the only person in this ring you need to think about.”
As the referee moved back and called for the bell, Valley began to circle her opponent, moving on hesitant toes. She didn’t move in, not just yet, staying mindful of those lethal legs. She wanted to play this match careful, as much as possible, and pick all her shots, knowing that one solid kick from either woman could decide the entire affair.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Although oblivious to the whole situation, it wouldn’t be particularly hard to put the pieces on what would have happened between the two blondes. The exact details of what actually happened will remain hidden, however, probably never to see the light of day. But what Chloe insinuated would have brought a lot of scenarios playing out from the fan’s perspective, drawing up to their own conclusions that would be debated for a long time. The warning that Chloe gave to the referee came at a reasonable place, knowing how ticked off Valley would be and anything that would get in the way of her own sense of justice wouldn’t be tolerated, even if she was acting upon fighter safety. Besides, it wasn’t actually Chloe that started it all anyways. However, she’ll have to learn to trust this one to not get in the way too much.
Valley clapping her hands to get Chloe’s attention brought a sarcastic expression towards the Californian, blinking like a deer in headlights. “Oh! I am so sorry, I almost forgot about you.” A hand to her chest and a pout, feigning concern over the veteran blonde. “Don’t mind her, always wanting attention.” A wink towards the referee’s way before she would move back, calling in for the bell. Truth be told, she was genuinely curious as to how Valley was going to come out right at the gate. Especially after all that happened between them before they have stepped into the ring.
From the looks of things, Valley was taking things seriously. A collected and calm approach to things, which brought a raised eyebrow from the ex-commissioner. She must be very wary of her opponent, that much is true. Considering one kick is all they need to decide the flow of battle in their favour. Goading her further could bring results but at the risk of being frustrated herself should it not work. But it is something she could look into, especially considering her opponent would no doubt bring a perfect challenge in terms of her own similar skillset.
Slow and steady, Chloe’s leg swept back behind her, settling into some form of a stance as the match started to get underway. So many options on how she could kick this match off, no pun intended. Yet time was as always, finite. Chloe had no problem being the aggressor to start off, approaching Valley quickly. Quick, but careful steps. Which is needed for what was about to come. Getting close enough, Chloe threw herself downwards while planting a hand onto the mat as her toned leg shot out to try and sweep Valley off her feet. Or at least, have it look like she was going to do that. What she was hoping to do was to send it slow enough and wide enough where it would be easily be seen and dodged, fishing for a reaction. From there, Chloe suddenly switched her hips and send the other strong leg upwards instead, looking to clock Valley right in the face.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Of all the obnoxious blondes that had managed to get under Valley’s skin in the past few years - and wow, that was a long list - she had to admit, Chloe was rapidly rising in the ranks. There was just something about the way this woman carried herself that reminded her of all the worst bits of a lot of the women she’d come to loathe in the AFW. Some of Manami’s sadism, some of Gwendolyn’s arrogance, some of...who was that woman she and Ace faced in their first tag match at Summer Splash? She couldn’t even remember anymore. God, that was ages ago.
A frustrating reminder of the steady march of time, like she needed that right now. No, right now, she needed to worry about the present, where she was taking on a striker with kicks that rivaled hers. Careful now, slow and steady, and…
It all happened at once, with Chloe moving in low, looking for a sweep. It was an easy dodge, telegraphed, begging to be avoided, and Valley proceeded to just that. She jumped over it, raised her leg for a kick of her own, and-
”Unh!” Chloe’s hidden kick slapped her hard against the face, spinning her around in a half circle. The hit itself wasn’t so bad, but the sheer alacrity and surprise left her stunned, and she found herself pressed against the ropes far earlier into a match than she could ever remember. Pushing off, she shook her head turned around with arms raised, hoping she’d be ready for the next volley but suspecting that wouldn’t be the case.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Chloe knew that when it came to facing up against Valley Doll, your timing has to be flawless. Nothing short of impeccable. Then again, she didn't come in with a much fancier and showy entrance just so she could take it easy.
Which showed with an unorthodox way to start the match, but Chloe saw the results and reaped the benefits. The blonde simply had gotten a taste as to how satisfying it just felt having her foot struck her face hard, taking her lights out. It was unlike most fighters that have stepped into the ring with her. It was addicting. And like most things, you simply want more after the liking the first experience.
The ex-commissioner rose up to her fullest height after pulling off that feint brilliantly. While she managed to send the Angel Slayer reeling, first blow effects tend not to last a long time. Besides, it would be less satisfying to have switched off Valley's lights off for the second time, with just one kick mind you. Not when there's many possibilities to be had while the Californian still clings onto consiousness.
Chloe simply stepped in while Valley was turned around after the hidden kick, her feet glided along the canvas with practiced grace, clean and precise movements. Which is needed for what was about to come. The two were destined to collide, Valley bouncing off the ropes and the former commissioner sought to use it to her advantage as she pivoted on one foot, turning a full 180° before firing off something a bit more simple, but much more powerful, her sole leading the charge as it thrusted towards the navel of Valley Doll.
Much as she'd love to kick that pretty face, Chloe knew that there were still other delectable targets she could work on.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
For someone who kicked people in the head all the time, Valley rarely had to taste her own medicine. It was easy to forget how bad it could be on the receiving end when you were so accustomed to dishing it out, and it didn’t help that Chloe’s kicks were really top notch - as much as she hated to admit it. Most people didn’t have the speed to make feint kick like that. Most didn’t even think such a thing was possible. But she’d pulled it off flawlessly.
Valley tried to spin around earlier, but her equilibrium was shot for a crucial second, shattered by the whipping blow. She knew what she needed to do, but everything was going slower than she wanted, delayed movements, so she knew it wouldn’t be a fun time when she came around. All she could do was get her arms up, hoping it might be enough.
Surprise, surprise, it wasn’t.
Instead, she wound up taking a solid hit to the stomach, one that knocked the wind cleaned out of her in a stiff strike. The Slamazon cried out as the blow brought her down to a single knee, sending the air rushing out of her, once again forced to take some of her own medicine.
Knowing that this wasn’t the best spot to be in, Valley tried to catch Chloe with a kick of her own. Instead of rising, she stayed down and brought her leg around in a wide arc, hoping to hit the woman with a quick sweep to bring her down.

Re: Chloe Mason vs. Valley Doll - Best Foot Forward
Chloe wanted to enjoy this. Savour this. Relish at the moment. She had been told that the battlefield, or in this case the duellists' ring, was not a place that you should enjoy. The fields of honour were a place that you did your duty, righted wrongs and carry on as usual. But ever since she had stepped foot into this ring, Chloe wanted for this to be so much more.
Shown in her expression once her foot struck where Valley wasn't expecting. In truth, she would like nothing more than battering that pretty face of hers, and it wasn't impossible to do so considering Valley's equilibrium was rocked. Her kicks rivalled Valley's, and one could see her shooting that foot straight past the excuse of a guard. That certainly would happen…if she was 18. Younger Chloe was even more brash, haughty and bit unpolished at that time, with not a lot of experience under her belt.
The added years have made her better, however. Something in which Valley would feel once Chloe's foot dug deep into that taut and firm abdomen of hers. Impressively sculpted, not losing any sort of definition over the years. That's not to say a well-placed blow wouldn't do anything to dent those defences, Valley's cries and her falling to one knee is a testament of that. Chloe didn't let her foot down after the powerful strike, leaving it hanging in the air where Valley's abdomen once was. A cruel smirk curled her lips as she purred in delight, relishing in such contact. Perhaps a second too long, Chloe getting a nasty surprise as she turned round to face her, only to have the other leg being taken out from underneath and sending Chloe crashing to the floor.
Old habits die hard; it seems.
Swept off her feet, Chloe hit the mat hard, landing somewhat on her side, which brought a hiss out of her.
