Clara "Little Wonder" Wonder vs Evelyn "Red" Evans

As Evelyn was getting the upper hand for those last minutes of the match her blood started pumping. After all she always liked dictating the rhythm of the match so she could make as many flashy moves as she liked, and now she had a golden opportunity to make that as she climbed the turnbuckle and used her small size and gymnast skills to execute a moonsault.

What is the worst thing that can happen to a wrestler while moonsaulting? An inexperienced fighter could say that flopping on the mat as the rival would move away, but truth was far from that. When Evelyn reached for the third rope she knew there were risks to that move, that Clara still had a speck of a chance ofmaking this much harder on the redhead that ir would be to herself. And the superhero managed to pull that maneouver off.

Evelyn was already mid flight when she noticed Clara’s knee going up. As she had already taken off there was absolutely nothing the redhead could do to prevent the impact, nor ease the pain she was going to experience. She didn’t even have time to register what was going on since everything happened in just a fraction of a second, so the moment she impacted with her chest against Clara’s knee Evelyn bounced back and stayed on the mat on her side, holding her chest with her arms as she would kick and cough in extreme pain.

Propping up her knees, Clara made sure that Evelyn would land onto them. Still, Evelyn still landed on her, which dealt some damage on her body as well.She gasped in pain, grimacing as her opponent bounced off of her, landing on the mat. Gritting her teeth, Clara tried to roll herself away from Evelyn before pushing herself onto all four, grunting as she would then try to get up. She saw that Evelyn was in a bad shape after failing her moonsault, and she could see that this was her opportunity to seize her win.

Making sure that Evelyn was on her back, Clara would then place herself on top of her. She would reach out for one of her legs, hooking it with her arm as she would maintain her position on top of her, going for a pinfall attempt.

"ONE!"

Getting her aerial move countered, all of Evelyn’s momentum used against her, was both a physical and a moral blow to the British. Not only she was severely hurt after her body impacted against Clara’s knees with all the flying momentum she had, now her morale was also deeply affected by the fact her finisher had been turned against her. Not only that, having your finisher move canceled like that was what the crowd needed to switch sides, all the support she was getting turning into an eruption of cheering for the sudden resilience and might Clara showed.

As things were Evelyn had gone from having the match mostly under control and showing some superiority or at least feeling comfortable about the combat to being in distress and having the odds against her. That was the double edged sword that was a flying move. From her position on the ground she was cupping her back with her hands, so in pain she didn’t notice how Clara crawled in her direction and forced a pin on her.

“TWO!”

Even in her pained state, Evelyn was still resolved to give her best in order to get a victory that night. That setback had been a big one, but she still had some fight in her. Enduring her pained back, she mustered all her strength to buck her body in order to break the pinning maneuver.

“N-no!!!”

Moving towards her opponent who was still hurting after failing her aerial maneuver earlier, Clara then went for the cover, pinning Evelyn underneath her while hooking one of her legs. The referee started counting for the pin, and while the blonde was certain that it wouldn't be enough for her to emerge victorious, she wanted to give it a try to see if her opponent still had enough fight left in her or not.

And then, Evelyn managed to kick out after two. As expected, Evelyn still had some fight left in her, and after huffing, Clara would pick herself up, looking to grab onto one of her opponent's arms and her head so that she could pull her up. Thinking that her opponent might still be affected by the damage that she had taken earlier, Clara would get Evelyn back onto her feet, where she would proceed to hit her with a knee strike into her gut in order to stun her and leave her breathless.

Evelyn just couldn’t believe it. How could things have gone south that quickly? It was just minutes before that the redhead was on a roll and dominating the match, one could have said that she had it on her pocket and ready to claim the win, and now she was struggling to survive. No matter how painful Clara’s strikes could be, the worst of injuries was the one ailing Evelyn’s pride. For some time she believed she had the match ready for the taking, and now the Bandit was against a corner, completely unable to pose a threat.

And escaping Clara’s pinning maneuver wasn’t going to end that. The blonde superhero wasn’t happy about how the redhead broke the pin and dragged Evelyn on her feet. Unable to pose any threat, the Bandit was dragged and then hit on the stomach. Coughing in pain and bending over her midsection, Evelyn was completely open, a shameful development for the match.

Having brought Evelyn back onto her feet, Clara then hit her with a knee strike to her gut, leaving her doubling over before her. Right after that, Clara would try to wrap her arm around her head, putting her into a front facelock. Making sure that the hold was snug enough, Clara would then reach down to the waist part of her opponent's leotard before attempting to lift her up into a vertical position.

She would keep her in that position for at least three seconds before falling backwards, sending her opponent down into the mat, back first, with a vertical suplex. She would then release her hold on her right away, pushing herself up before rolling herself over onto all four so that she could take a look at her opponent. She was certain that the vertical suplex had inflicted enough damage on her opponent to keep her down for a while.

Being hit in the groin with a knee was something that wasn’t as damaging as it was incapacitating. As anyone would gain wrestling experience as Evelyn had it is well known that a knee to the belly is only a transition move more aimed to render her unable to move for what was coming later: the real blow. So as Evelyn coughed in pain from the knee strike she knew something else was going to happen, and she wasn’t going to like it.

When Clara pulled from the redhead’s leotard and made her world go upside down realization sank in. Not only that, Evelyn had three seconds to slowly let her body and mind adjust to the idea of what was going to happen to her, just as if time had stopped before impact. When the blonde superhero made her move and applied the vertical suplex, Evelyn let all the air out as her back impacted against the mat. She needed some break, her chest slowly going up and down as she tried her best to recover.

Lifting Evelyn up into a vertical position, Clara then brought her down into the mat with a vertical suplex. The sound of her opponent's body hitting the mat was evidence enough for her to tell that the move was successful. Getting up, Clara would then look at the direction of her opponent, seeing her laid out on the mat.

So, Clara would rise back up on her feet before she ran towards the ropes, looking to rebound from them and return back to where her opponent was. Then, she would leap up into the air before attempting to hit her opponent with a running senton, landing right on top of her opponent's body with her back first.

Evelyn definitely needed some time to recover. Even if the redhead was capable of longer sessions of some other kind of… physical exercise the beating she was taking made it hard on her to keep going. Breathing deep with her eyes blocked by her arm she was defenseless, a poor inocent victim waiting to be hit once more.

But still there was some kind of sixth sense that warned her. It had more to do with hearing Clara running towards her and the cheers of the crowd. Something was coming. As she uncovered her eyes, Evelyn could see her superhero rival taking off to attempt a crushing running senton on her. Even when her body was in pain the redhead managed to roll over. That would leave Clara for a more than nasty landing on her back, and maybe that was exactly what Red needed. As she managed to drag her body back on her feet while the crowd cheered and switched sides noticing her opportunity, Evelyn would go for a powerful legdrop against Clara’s chest, trying to soften her body even more and execute a move that wouldn’t be as tiring for herself. “Take this!”
