Clara Wonder vs. Tsumi Yoshida - Drifting Apart

"..." Unlike usual, Clara wasn't in her usual chipper self after learning who she would be facing tonight. She didn't expect that she would be facing a childhood friend of hers, Tsumi Yoshida. The Little Wonder wasn't sure what to think of this, because it had been a while since the last time they talked, and the last time they talked, things got a little complicated that she preferred not to think about it.

Still, a match was a match, so Clara would prepare herself for this. Already donning her superheroine-esque wrestling outfit, she would march out to the ramp once her entrance music was played. She jogged down the ramp, heading over to the ring where she would be facing Tsumi in a match. She had heard of her being in AFW before, but she never thought that she would be facing her tonight in the ring.

Clara Wonder:

Once she settled in the ring after taking off her cape, Clara would do some light stretches as she would wait for Tsumi to show up. She remembered their times when they used to play together when they were kids. They even talked about wanting to become a tag team just like their mothers. Clara was unsure what to do with Tsumi once she showed up, and she even had no idea what to say to her, but she hoped that nothing would prevent them from having a fight here in the ring.

Tsumi glared at the mirror for a few moments, she was not happy, having to face off against someone she hadn’t seen for a while, someone that she grew up with. Her childhood friend Clara Wonder, but she knew her as Clara Haruka. Tsumi wasn’t happy with this, she even asked if the higher ups could change it, but they wanted the two to face off against each other. Tsumi looks at the ground as she spits at it turning around hearing America the Beautiful. Tsumi scoffed hearing that, she was trying her best to be just like mommy.


This was the last thing Tsumi wanted to do, going out and beating up your supposed best friend during your return tour was not fun. Tsumi would lift up her brush paints on the bold black line across her face. Her war paint so to speak. She turned to face the monitor and watched as Clara would jog out and down to the ring. The blonde haired beauty was still energized. Tsumi looked up some of Clara’s matches in AFW and they were to Tsumi, embarrassing. Seeing Clara stripped and ravaged by those of her past like Mai Valentine and Ryo Kamiya. She shook her head in disappointment at her and knew she had to make sure Clara wouldn’t lose due to orgasiming. This time Clara was going to lose because Tsumi is going to bring her to submission.

Soon Tsumi’s theme started playing, Megitsune; started playing as boos were heard across a one third of the arena. While two thirds of it were still cheers, it seemed she still has some fans after all. Tsumi glares at her opponent from the ramp to the ring. Tsumi would slowly make her way down the ramp. As thoughts of Tsumi and Clara saying that they were going to be like their mother’s one day, tag team champions. Tsumi shook off those thoughts as she enters the ring by sliding on top of the apron. Tsumi looks at Clara as she slowly approaches the younger but taller woman and glares into her eyes. Tsumi stayed in her face for a moment before turning around and walking to her corner, her eyes never leaving Clara.

Clara maintained a serious look when Tsumi made her appearance. Like before, she didn't know what to think of her childhood friend, but considering that they would be facing each other in a match, the Little Wonder would make sure to give her all. She kept her eyes on Tsumi as she made her way down the ramp, heading over to the ring. Then, Tsumi approached her and the two of them had a brief but intense staredown. Seeing the glare from Tsumi, Clara would respond to her with a glare of her own, indicating that she wasn't one to be intimidated just because her opponent had some issues. Soon, Tsumi turned around and returned to her corner, her eyes still on Clara.

Soon, the referee would call for both Clara and Tsumi to the center of the ring. Then, the bell was sounded, signifying the start of the match. Keeping her eyes on Tsumi, Clara took a stance, preparing herself to clash with her opponent for tonight. She pushed aside whatever sentiment she had so that she could focus to win. To start off the match, the Little Wonder was looking to lock up with Tsumi in a standard collar-and-elbow tie up. While they might have drifted apart, Clara still wanted to see what her former best friend was capable of during a match.

Tsumi kept her eyes on Clara as the ref would check Tsumi making sure that the Japanese woman did not have any weapons on her. Tsumi would let the ref check her, feeling the tension in this ring, she just didn’t want things to get too out of hand. At least thats what she could hope for. Tsumi still felt anger as they were called to the center of the ring and would call for the bell signalling the start of the match. Tsumi took a stance mirroring Clara’s for now. As she would make it look like she was going to go for a collar and elbow tie up as well. The crowd would start to cheer but then started to boo.

They started booing because Tsumi would side step the collard and elbow tie up test of strength and would gesture towards the crowd to settle down. Tsumi turns around to face Clara and as she did she would circle around Clara. Tsumi would then let out a quick kick towards the right knee of Clara, though it has been a while Clara would remember out of the Yoshida family Tsumi had the hardest kicks and they were not fun to be hit by. But if connected Tsumi would just focus on that knee with another hard kick trying to deal some early damage a important part for Clara.

Clara was prepared to lock up with Tsumi in a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but then, Tsumi decided to side step the collar-and-elbow as she circled around Clara. Clicking her tongue, the blonde would turn around to keep her eyes on her opponent, but this didn't stop Tsumi from dealing a kick to her knee.

"Nrghh!!" Grimacing as she was hit, she was reminded of the fact that her childhood friend had quite a powerful kick, even when they were young. Knowing that only bad thing would happen to her if she let Tsumi deal the second kick, Clara would step backwards, avoiding the second kick to her knee before straightening herself up, hissing in pain as she felt the ache around her knee.

While the kick was powerful enough, it wasn't enough to reduce her mobility as Clara then charged towards Tsumi, extending out her arm in preparation for a lariat. But the lariat was merely a feint because as she drew closer to Tsumi, she would pull back her arm, slipping past Tsumi and moving behind her, looking to bring her arms around her neck, locking her in a sleeper hold.

Tsumi smirks as her kick connected with Clara’s knee, Tsumi would try again but soon found herself being sidestepped as she did to Clara. Tsumi had the same reaction as Clara did when Tsumi did it to her, she clicked her tongue. Tsumi repositioned herself getting herself ready to continue on with the match. But to her surprise Clara was charging at her with a lariat. Tsumi was going to try to counter it by grabbing the arm but would soon be surprised as Clara goes to lock in a sleeper hold on Tsumi. Tsumi was lucky though to have one hand on the joint of the elbow so it was not fully locked in.


Tsumi would fight hard trying to get out of the sleeper. She would pull her arm down on the arm that was close to her neck keeping Clara from locking it and Tsumi would then drop down out of the sleeper hold and back into neutral position. As she looks at Clara and glares at her. “Nice try Little Wonder, But don’t think you are clever enough to try that again.” Tsumi said as she this time goes to lock up with Clara for real this time. If they were to though Tsumi would just kick Clara hard into her gut and send a elbow to the back of the head of the Little Wonder.

Catching Tsumi in the sleeper hold, Clara would try to give her neck a squeeze, but Tsumi somehow managed to escape the hold, and the two of them were back to square one. Hearing that from Tsumi, Clara decided to give her a cheeky response. "Well, you used to fall to that back then..." she said, giving her opponent a small smirk.

Seeing that Tsumi was going to lock up with her, Clara would do the same, looking to lock up with her opponent, but against her expectation, she took a kick right into her gut. "Uughh!!!" The kick left the Little Wonder reeling, and this gave her opponent an opportunity to hit her with her elbow right at the back of her head. "Guhhh!!" While Clara was still on her feet, she was left disoriented and vulnerable for more attacks from her opponent.

Tsumi’s elbow strike hit true, putting the Little Wonder in a daze. Tsumi wanted to get back to causing pain to Clara. She saw her opening and she was going to take it with a combination of attacks. Tsumi being a striker, was going to take full advantage by first sending two low side kicks to Clara’s ankles to try and start early taking Clara out of the air, its hard to fly when you have a flat tire. But she would finish the striking combination with a powerful knee strike to the gut of Little Wonder.

Tsumi remembered the days of Clara and her training with their mothers, following them around from time to time. Even participating in matches to get things rolling for their career. Tsumi though was on a path to redemption here in AFW, the past needed to be buried. She needed to destroy every bit of her failure, even if it included her once called best friend. If the knee strike would connect, Tsumi’s hands would quickly wrap around the neck of her childhood friend and would try to drive her head down into the mat with a DDT.

Clara was disoriented by all those Tsumi's attacks that she was unable to stop her opponent from landing more of them, striking at her ankles first before hitting her hard at her gut with her knee. "Guughhh!!!" This left the Little Wonder winded and stunned, and she was unable to stop Tsumi from putting her into a front facelock before she was brought down head first into the mat with a vicious DDT!

"OOUGHHH!!!"

Clara's blonde locks splayed on the mat as she moaned out in pain after having her head hitting the canvas from Tsumi's DDT. Stunned and disoriented, she was left a vulnerable target for her opponent to work on even further, with her unable to do even a single thing about her current situation. Due to her condition, she was unable to think of what was happening to her childhood friend at the moment.

Tsumi smirked as she planted the Little Wonder head first down into the mat. She looked down at her downed “friend” as Tsumi would stand back up and through some light stomps to Clara’s head to at first antagonize the Little Wonder. Tsumi soon lets out a chuckle as she planted her foot on the forehead of Clara’s realizing just how vulnerable she was in this position.


“Is that all you’ve got Little Wonder?”

Tsumi would say before sitting up Clara so she remained in a sitting position. Tsumi quickly steps off and starts running across the ring In front of Clara before rebounding off the ropes. As she came back towards the dazed Little Wonder she would once again target her head by pivoting her body so instead of just ramming into her, she sends her hip towards the dazed Little Wonder trying to hit her with a strong hip attack.
