Nekketsu Championship Tournament: Round 1: Leah Shaw vs Ami Takeuchi

Leah was clearly quite innocent and was certainly not catching onto the malicious intent of Ami's attitude towards her. Either that or she was really good at keeping up this innocent girl act just to get under the skin of her opponent. "Tch could have fooled me" Ami hissed back, struggling to fight back against Leah in the collar and elbow grapple battle.

Not really intent on keeping this a fair wrestling match at all, Ami would soon break away from the grapple thanks to a hard knee strike into the abdomen of her opponent and quickly transitioning it to a side headlock, pressing her opponent's face against her breasts. Leah would squirm her head around until she was no longer partially smothered and would even compliment her opponent for her tactic.

"W-WHAT?! Argh, I don't need your approval" she growled at her compliment. Leah would continue to struggle, digging her shoulder into the back of Ami and pushing her forward to pick up speed before stopping dead in her tracks and shoving Ami forward.

The result was the supermodel's headlock grip was now broken and she was shoved into the ring ropes. Her back bounced off the ropes and she came sprinting back towards Leah, unable to stop herself due to the momentum she had.

"I ngh.. never said you did." At the height of their run Leah came to her stop, pulling back as hard as she could while shoving Ami forward. Her head popped free with a mess cascade of her hair floofing out around her face. She looked excited to be free with a big grin on her face, which was slightly red from having been squeezed. There was no time to relax though, she bolted forward to capitalize on her escape.

Arming pumping she ran after in hot pursuit, waiting for just the right moment to strike. When Ami spun around to hit the ropes, the blond threw herself up into the air, whirling around mid jump to shove her backside forward. She put all her momentum and weight behind a flying hip attack, trying to smash herself right into Ami's face to floor the model, maybe even send her out of the ring. "Boom!"

It seemed like Leah had a comeback for every retort that Ami had in her arsenal which was really getting the supermodel all hot and bothered. It wasn't even that Leah's comebacks were insulting either and in fact it seemed they weren't meant to be insulting either. Yet somehow, the innocence in her words were really something that Ami could not bare. The two struggled, Ami trying to hold on to her submission and Leah trying to push out of it.

In the end, the blonde would manage to squeeze her head out and push Ami into the ring ropes. Just when Ami bounced off the ropes and came back, Leah would spring towards the onrushing supermodel to match her speed and momentum before leaping up in the air and turning around, shoving her backside into the face of Ami for a running hip attack.

"Gaaah!" Ami cried out in pain and was floored to the ring mats. Ami would roll over onto her side and had her face clutched. Her eyes were widened in anger upon the realization that she got struck in the face by another woman's backside. "H-h-how dare you?!" she moaned.

While not the biggest backside in the league, Leah's perky derriere was a surprising powerful force in the rowdy rookie's arsenal. Armed with her full on charge she matches to take Ami clean off her feet and keep going even as the supermodel hit the mat. The blond girl just barely managed to land on her feet, stumbling a few steps backwards until she caught herself on the ropes by throwing her arms back. Dangling in place she grinned, proud of her work, enjoying the exchange far more than her opponent seemed to. She wasn't sure what Ami was talkijg about though. Was she being daring?

"You know what they say, put up or butt up!" Nobody had ever said that, but it didn't stop her from giggling like a giddy little schoolgirl at her appropriation of the phrase. Leah threw her weight back into the ropes, each time stretching them just a bit further. Once she had reached the limit of what she could managed flat-footed she used the ropes to spring forward to get her up to a full run in an instant. When she reached Ami she threw herself up into the air, kicking her legs out to form a perfect 90° angle as she plummeted down towards the other girl with a legdrop across her head and chest.

If she managed to get the move, she would leave her legs draped over top of Ami, using those to pin the woman down. Reaching out she would try and collect one of the models long legs and draw it in for a tight cinch, trying to go for an early pinfall.

The bluenette was never one to appreciate strikes to the face, especially a beautiful face such as hers. What was worse that this was no ordinary strike but instead a thump to her face with the use of another woman's rear. Down went the supermodel on her back with her face being red in anger and embarrassment. Once again, she didn't appreciate Leah's words and once again it forced an audible groan from Ami. "Shut up you brat, nobody ever says that" she hissed, still clutching her face making sure that didn't ruin her make-up or eyeliner.

During that time, Leah was already making her move by pressing her back against the ropes to stretch them as far as they could go before bouncing off them to sprint towards Ami and leap up high before crashing down on her with her legs extended. Leah's legs would drop down on Ami's head and chest and the blonde would soon follow that up with a pinfall attempt.

The referee would get up to the count of "ONE" which is when Ami would thrust her legs up high in the air and shove Leah off to break the pinfall. Wanting to break that momentum, Ami would attempt to scamper to the nearest set of ring ropes and grab onto them for a break.

"Pretty sure I just said it, so that's at least one somebody!" Up into the air she flew and down she came with a ring shaking leg drop right on target. Leah pumped a fist in the air, shouting to the crowd who cheered right back at her as she laughed excitedly. Hooking one of Ami's legs she struck a pose while the referee dropped down beside them. One palm came down hard, but that was the only one before the model buckled hard and threw the blond's legs off.

This didn't seem to deter Leah however as she was having the time of her life. Flopping up onto her knees she took a swipe to grab for the blue haired girl, clinging to her ankles. She gave a hard tug, trying to drag her opponent back but her fingers slipped allowing for Ami's hasty retreat. It found the rookie flopping forward onto her face with a graceless this. Picking herself up she started after the model, throwing up arms reaching out to grapple the downed wrestler when the official stepped in, holding their hands out to stop her from attacking the woman clinging to the ropes.

Leah furrowed a brow, leaning back to stand up straight with her hands on her hips, huffing. She stepped back, pacing a bit from side to see before creating more distance to allow Ami to get back up. She threw up her arms, clapping her hands together loudly to start a some and steady rolling clap throughout the crowd, getting people pumped. "Come on, get up and let's wrestle!" The blond threw a few shadow boxing punches that were more for show than anything else… she may have stolen it from her brother.

Ami's facial expressions were now simply dumbfounded. She couldn't believe what she just heard. Perhaps it was the supermodel's fault for falling into that trap herself but the most frustrating part of what Leah just said was....that it was true. Technically she just said that and that was indeed Ami's complaint. "You've got a big mouth. Allow me to shut it up for you" she would hiss whilst struggling for control against Leah who had grabbed her ankles and tried to pull her away from the ropes.

Eventually, Ami would reach her destination and earn that rope break. She kept it brief and would soon tug up on the ring ropes to pull herself up on her feet and glare daggers into the eyes of her opponent. Seething in anger now, Ami would approach Leah after the request and would raise her arms up as if to grapple. Once in grappling range, the supermodel would instead look to drop down and scissor Leah's legs with her own, looking to drop the blonde on her face in a drop toe hold.

If she was successful, the supermodel would attempt to mount Leah's back and reach for her chin to set up a camel clutch submission.

"I am pretty sure my mouth is proportional to my head… which is the normal size for the rest of me." The blond threw a hand back behind her head, rubbing her neck lightly. Like a good sport, Leah afforded Ami with all the time she required to rise, waiting until she left the ropes to bring up her arms. She was bouncing in place, eager to lock up again so when the model came in she was more than happy to meet her in the middle. Once they were close she lunged in, arms swiping at empty air. She fumbled forward, eyes following the other girl washed dropped down.

Her legs were suddenly snapped together, locked in by Ami's as the model gave them a harsh twist to bring the blond rookie crashing to the mat face first. She let out a heavy grunt, the unexpected impact knocking the air out of her. Planting her palms, she started to push herself up when the weight of her opponent suddenly flattened her back out along the mat. Leah winced, reaching out to stretch an arm out to begin a crawl only to have her arms jerked back and hooked over Ami's knees. She let out a small gasp as fingers later around the underside of her chin, dragging her head backwards despite her fighting tooth and nail.

"Nnngh!" Slowly, steadily Leah was losing ground until Ami had stretched her back into position. The blond let out a small fry, kicking her boots wildly as she thrashed. This wasn't her first time locked in this hold, in fact, by comparison this wasn't half as bad as the last time. Leah was one of the few people in Tension who could claim to have survived the Inoba Clutch in her brief but fiery foray into the Elimination Chamber. This was no walk in the park though. She twisted and shouted, trying to slip a single arm free. Her boot toes digging into the canvas to start to inch them along the mat towards the ropes, desperate for a break.

There it was again, that innocent response her to her not so innocent remark. Yet still, the supermodel was oddly really annoyed at Leah's attitude. She wasn't sure if the blonde was oblivious to all her taunting or was simply taking them in like a champ and had a perfect response to annoy the bluenette. Regardless of that, Ami now had her opponent trapped in a submission move and she was really enjoying wrenching that pretty head of hers backward to put pressure on her back.

To her credit, Leah would do her best to struggle. She began kicking her feet wildly and crawl towards the ropes to earn a break. Seeing her go near them, Ami would slightly modify her camel clutch by shifting the grip of her fingers from Leah's chin towards her mouth, looking to fish hook her mouth with her fingers, stretching her mouth and using said grip to pull back. That caused the referee to give her a earfull and even more so when Leah got to the ropes.

"What? What's wrong!" Ami asked while pouting. Ami released her opponent from the submission move but would grab her head and place her neck against the bottom ropes before pushing on it to choke her out causing the referee to count for a DQ. After getting to the count of "FOUR" Ami would release Leah and back up with her hands up in the air and the referee would approach her to have a little chat, with the referee's back turned towards Leah.

"Geez, stop talking...I didn't do anything!" Ami argued with the referee, trying to keep her distracted.

Leah's boots squealed and squeaked along the mat with each sloppy thrust of her legs, bouncing the two women slowly towards her salvation at the ropes. She had her eyes locked on one location, shifting uncomfortably with each flop of her body to adjust her course with Ami riding her like a tortured beast of burden. As she neared, the blond tried to roll a shoulder in her struggles, fighting to unhook one of her arms to make grasping for the ropes easier. She had just about managed to free the limb when her head was jerked suddenly to the side as she felt fingers hook into her gasping mouth to crank her head away from her destination.

"Wha?!" The blond let out a garbled cry of surprise as she was trashed about, winging as her cheek was stretched to its limit. With another hard buck she had managed to free an arm, but could no longer see the ropes with how the model was twisting her neck. Blindly her palm searched the mat, every kick of her legs taking her closer to the ropes. In a bad turn of luck however she was reaching too low, missing her freedom by a mere inch. It wasn't until she was nearly face to face with them and felt the lip of the apron that she realized she had gone needlessly far.

As her fingers had just begun to wrap around the bottom role when she had been suddenly released. Intuitively her body relaxed, slumping to let Ami break the hold. When her head was guided forward to the ropes it met almost no resistance, the move catching her off guard. It wasn't until she was being choked out on the ropes that she began to fight back again, frantic kicking her feet with her struggle. She threw an arm up and over the ropes, trying to making strangling her that much harder. Once Ami had finished, it left Leah gasping and coughing along the bottom rope, pulling herself up to rest her chest across the ropes and dangle weakly, groaning. The hood had done a number on her but the real damage had been done with her underhanded use of the ropes as a weapon leaving the rookie down and out.
