Ballad of a Brawler

Rika didn't want to give up either but she was out of ideas. She had looked everywhere for Sarah but had no luck. If Sarah didn't want to be found, odds were she wouldn't be. "An idea?" Rika repeated in surprise. She briefly wondered what it could be, but Akashi's next request caught her by surprise. "S-Shopping?" she said in surprise. Rika wasn't what one would call a girly-girl. She had never done a lot of stuff like shopping before. Still, if it was with Akashi, it couldn't be so bad, right?


She stepped up to the taxi that pulled up by the curb. "Your place, huh?" she asked curiously. "Do you live nearby?"

Akashi slid into the cab and told the driver where to go before watching Rika get in. "I live close enough." She said, living in a nearby district. "I have an idea, but it might not prove to be very fruitful in finding our objective." She smiled though. "But. I think that we should definitely have a good time no matter what." She said cheerfully.

In about ten minutes or so, the cab pulled up to an apartment and kashi got out. She escorted Rika to her place and opened the door. It was pretty clean, accept for the occasional article of clothing or yet unpacked box from Mina. The house looked very traditional with olde pieces of art and prints hanging ont he wall, slowly invaded by an anime poster here and there. Akashi then pulled off her hakama pants without even thinking about it and kicked them into her hand, showing off her shapely butt for Rika. "Just give me a second, ok?" She said and smiled before pulling off her top to reveal a completely naked form. She slipped back to her room and fished around for a pair of underwear and a bra and then slipped a loose shirt on and some loose jeans.

She rummaged around until she got her wallet and then popped back out. "Ok, ready!" She said. "I.. could wear this, but I'd like to kill two birds with one stone, plus, I would love to go shopping with Rika-chan!" She exclaimed. "I won't say a word until we're finished though. I hope the suspense won't kill you." She said as she smiled at Rika.

As Rika stepped out of the car and into the building she pondered just what Akashi's plan could be. She didn't want to insult the sumo but she didn't seem like the planning type.

akashi's appartment was certainly nicer than the one she shared with Sarah, but still not as nice as one Tyler rented. Rika sometimes wondered about that. With all the money Sarah made from her string of won matches they should be able to afford a better place. It looked like someone was in the process of moving in, probably the owner of the out of place anime posters. These probably belonged to this Mina girl Akashi mentioned.

As Rika looked around she was startled when Akashi quickly stripped in front of her. Fortunately this was nothing new to her. Sarah often did the same thing. "Aw, come on. Not even a hint?" Rika groaned playfully. She was glad that Akashi was dressed less formally, it would be easier to walk down the street with her. "Can you at least tell me what we're shopping for?"

Akashi grinned. "I want to get RIka an outfit." She said. " Won't take no for an answer either!" She then smiled. "Don't worry. It won't be like the kind I was wearing earlier. "Pretty much like what you're wearing now. But we will definitely need new clothes for where we're going." She said with a wink. She decided to write a note for Mina before she left and then led them out and locked up. "Well, we're pretty close to the shopping district but I think that we should take a taxi there." She said as she hailed another cab once they were out in the street again.

During the ride she looked at RIka. "Are you ok with this?" She said. I mean. We haven't done too much, but I am having a good time. It's been fun being able to spend the day with you, Rika-chan." She said meaning it.

"New clothes, huh?" Rika muttered as the left the appartment just as fast as they had arrived. She looked down at what she usually wore, a white tang top and ornage shorts. "I suppose it couldn't hurt. Most of my clothes have blood staines on them anyway." As the new cab pulled up to them Rika realized something as she got into the car. "It's just, uh, I don't have a lot of money." That's when she realized that Akashi had been paying for everything since they had run into each other. The tea, the taxis, even the stupid rubber chicken she had bought from Tyler.

"I am having a good time!" Rika confirmedwith a wide grin. "And I really needed one too. Thanks Akashi!" Rika didn't mention that a good day for her usaully ended with a street fight.

"Rika-chan..." Akashi said. "This is my treat." She said seriously. "It's really no trouble. I am just glad we could spend time together and that you're having a good time as well."

They arrived at the shopping district and Akashi quickly lead Rika around, going to various stores that Mina had taken her too. She made her way to a familiar one and the girl greeted them.

"Feeling daring today?" She askeed and Akashi grinned. "I am!" She chirped. "I want a black skirt. Low cut!" She demanded. and the girl scuttled off. "Rika-chan, what about you? Skirt or shorts or pants?" She asked. "Oh! And what color shirt?" She reached out and grabbed a black shirt that said "Peachy Princess" in glittery orange. "Haha. I think for where we are going this one might be good for me." She said. "But I wonder..." She said putting it infront of RIka. "How embarrassed would Rika-chan feel wearing this? Or did she ever dream of being a Princess?" She was teasing Rika of course and with her free hand grabbed a white sleeveless tank top that had a red circle face that had X eyes and was sticking its tongue out. "This one might be better for Rika-chan." She said with a grin.

Rika had never been to this shopping district before. or many others since arriving in Japan. Like she had said, shopping wasn't her thing. But Akashi seemed to be enjoying herself.

Rika visibly cringed at the shirt Akashi picked out for her. It was most certainly not her style, and was relevied when the sumo revealed she was joking. "No offense, but if I wore that, I'd have to set myself on fire," Rika said to Akashi. "But it might look good on you though!" The glittery shirt certainly matched Akashi's personality. And if Rika wore that shirt in front of her other friends they would probably beat her up. When Akashi showed her the other shit, a wide grin appeared on Rika's face. "Now we're talking!" she exclaimed, snatching the shirt from the sumo and holding it up before the mirror. It fit her style to the tee. "It's even my size! I gott try this on!" She ran off for a minute to the dressing room to do just that.

Akashi was glad when Rika liked what Akashi picked out for her. She watched with a pleased smile as she went to try it on. She then looked down at her shirt. It wasn't really the kind of shirt she would wear either. Akashi was mostly a tomboy and she liked to dream that she could be one of those girly girl princessess, but she did much better as the knight in those fairy tales. "Silly." She said when Rika was out of earshot. "That's exactly why I wanted you to try it on." She laughed and as the clerk returned with her skirt she thanked her and took off for the dressing room.

She went and quickly changed, not daring such a low cut skirt before but finding it thrilling. She spun around and the bottom of her plump rear just barely showed in the tworl. The shirt was tight and even her bra couldn't keep her large breasts cfrom swaying a little. She stepped out with a smile and looked at the clerk. "I'm taking it!" She said with a grin.

Rika pulled her new shirt over her impressive breasts, and took in her new look in the mirror. She smiled in satisfaction; Akashi had really picked a winner. She came out at nearly the same time as Akashi did, and at the same time as well said, "I'll take it!" She looked over at Akashi, and her jaw dropped at how good she looked. "Wow, Akashi, you look great!" she exclaimed.

Akashi beamed "You too!" She said and hugged Rika. "So cute" She smiled. SHe looked at the clerk. "We only need a bag for these." She said holding up her old clothes. She paid for the clothes and then looked at Rika. "One more stop, are you excited?' She said knowing Rika probably couldn't be because she had no idea what Akashi had in mind. She went out and stopped at a locker and took the key. "Here, stash your clothes in here. I'll come pick them up later and then give them back to you when I see you at the AFW arena." She said stuffing her clohes in the locker.

Once she was set, she would hail a taxi. Getting in, she would call to the driver to take them to a rather seedy neighborhood, notorious for girl gangs. Once she gave the location, she leaned back and rested her hands behind her back with a smug look on her face.
