Nekketsu Championship Tournament: Round 1: Evelyn Evans vs Bryan Daniels

No matter how important the new Nekketsu Tournament could be for any of the wrestlers involved, for Evelyn it was a very risky move to take that challenge as she hadn’t even debutted in the AFW yet. Her first match being in a tournament in which everyone was all out was a wild gamble. Everyone else in that tournament had their reputation and their characters already well established, but in her case she was an enigma. Whatever opinion the crowd would form about her, it would happen based on how good she would do in the tournament, and even being a good fighter she knew really well that she wouldn’t get far without some of the crowd’s love.

And she started by makin a fool of herself. How could she have been so stupid to fall for the smug Bryan’s ruse. Was she out of her goddamn mind, thinking Bryan would go for a friendly handshake? It was true that the man was self-centered and arrogant to the limit, but he didn’t look like the treacherous type to Evelyn. Turned out she was wrong, and Bryan would resort to anything in order to get further in the tournament, and that included a nasty Atomic Drop that made quite a dent in Evelyn’s endurance.

As the British lay on the mat caressing her hurt back, Bryan decided it was time to keep his streak going with a vicious abdominal stretch that would have made a rival scream in pain, but the proficient gymnast was used to bend her body beyond some limits, so she would only emit a light groan. That would surely impress the allmighty Bryan, or at least that was what she thought. But even someone like her could only sustain the pain of a hold like that for a certain amount of time, so escaping was in order. Seeing how her rival was more busy taking care of the cameras than of her, Evelyn decided to try and throw an elbow at her rival’s face. If that didn’t make him release her, at least it would make him go mad.

B-RY, being the seasoned grappling professional that he was, never once let his mind sway from what was of vital importance throughout this match. Such as where Ami and himself were going to spend the night getting their drink on in celebration of the both of them moving up the ranks in this drab tournament. Swanky high-rise parties were always their choice of schmoozing revelry. Cocktails in everyone's hands as they posed for photos and chatting it up besides fellow supermodels and in vogue celebrities to the tune of European techno in the background. The Bryan Daniels already had it all mapped out in his head after finally getting the upper-hand on this scarlet-haired avenger with a bit of underhanded duplicity that had her tailbone rocked in the Atomic Drop, and soon afterward led to Evelyn having her core abdominal muscles being stretched out by the most devilishly handsome wrestler in the game~...

Bryan's own defined musculature flexed taut as he tightened the hold and compressed his ripped abdomen against her from behind, all in a concerted and strained effort to get this little chickadee to sing with an agonized wail or two or three. A goal he seemingly began to accomplish, but the fiery redhead couldn't help but be a irksome nuisance, even when she was being gifted a golden opportunity to admire his good looks from this close. Bryan's posing for cameras being upended by this spitfire's elbow clocking him right in the side of the jaw, twisting his head with a bellowed grunt and an immediate abandonment of the submission hold. But B-RY still managed to keep his hand fastened onto Evelyn's wrist and in his stunned state began to shove her back first to the ring ropes. "NOT cool, boo-boo..." Bryan sneered before attempting to Irish Whip Evelyn across the ring to have her come sprinting back, and right into a superkick.

Situation was far from becoming desperate for Evelyn, but the British was an impatient woman, and Bryan had been working on getting the woman on her nerves with his mix of attitude and the kind of moves he was using. There was no way around it, the man was strong and even the flexible Evelyn was having a bad time locked in the abdominal stretch. The man’s strength was more than enough to bring some distress in her as her cries of pain gave away. It wouldn’t make her submit since it was so soon and her reserves were vast, but the hold would soften her a lot, and that would be bad for her chances.

Evelyn was honestly expecting her elbow strikes to make her rival release her, but the supermodel’s prowess was bigger than that. Luckily for her it was enough to make him change his mind about the hold and attempting something else. With how strong Bryan was compared to Evelyn it was easy for him to send the Bandit away with an Irish Whip. Evelyn gained momentum as she turned her body to rebound against the ropes with her back, starting running back at her rival.

If Bryan managed to get a hit at Evelyn after that it would be devastating for the smaller woman and she knew that. The Bandit had to think fast and do something to start getting the crowd’s attention and show her rival that she was able to do much more that some slight resistance. She needed something spectacular, something a smaller rival could use to topple a bigger wrestler. She smiled as she knew just what she needed. Just when she was going to hit Bryan the British would jump and try to get a hold on the man’s neck with her long legs and used all the momentum and her strength to try and take him down, finishing her huricanrana move!

How can these nauseating uggos not comprehend that a supermodel's facial features are not just their livelihood, but their how they convey to the world what true beauty is~...and how far away their their acne riddled skin and crow's feet eyes compares to their own masterfully maintained visages. Bryan not taking kindly to anyone laying a hand on his gorgeous mug, even if it was just a glancing elbow shot that was only intended to stun him long enough to grant Evelyn her merciful freedom from the ab stretching submission hold. Jarred though he was from being clocked in the schnoze, Bryan fed off that vexation to still maintain a grip on his adversarial bandit and shove her against the ring ropes before sending her sprinting in the opposite direction with every intention of meeting Evelyn halfway across the ring and getting some cathartic revenge by superkicking the red-haired bandit into next Tuesday.

The model athlete knew that his thieving opponent was a lightweight who probably couldn't withstand such a concussive strike like that lightly without being knocked loopy for some time. One jaw-cracking connection between his boot and her fugly face no doubt making her easy pickings for the rest of the match, so Bryan indeed went forward with his masterful plan by dashing towards the rebounding Evelyn with a smug smirk and tasseled boots fluttering about. Except it was there where both he and his plans would be turned upside-down. The British Bandit leaping up to straddle his shoulders and obstruct his vision with her camel-toed crotch before flipping him about to a thudding splash onto the ring canvas. Bryan wheezing out a strained cough upon crash landing before groggily attempting to right himself and stumble back to his feet, but he'd be bumbling and discombobulated as the audience cheered on Evelyn's resurgent counter attack.

Bryan was one of those smug guys Evelyn couldn’t even stand. She was so much into charcterization for her wrestling persona, and really liked over the top wrestlers, it was one of the things that drew her towards that world, but in Bryan’s case there was no character in there. It was pretty clear from just some minutes talking or interacting with him that this was exactly who that man was: an arrogantly proud and smug supermodel who thought of himself too highly. Well, it would be the British’s job to teach him a lesson in humility.

Up until that moment Bryan had managed to keep the upper hand in the match. Both wrestler’s difference in size and weight was a very decisive fact and Evelyn needed to make up for it with agility and spectacular and effective moves. When the woman was dragged to the ropes surely Bryan was expecting to hit her hard and send the redhead to the canvas, but that wouldn’t come to happen as Evelyn properly countered her rival’s move and executed a flashy huricanrana that got all the crowd’s attention and cheers.

Evelyn knew she couldn’t stop there. She had a mometary advantage and if she let Bryan get up and reset the situation it all would have been for nothing. Seeing this, Evelyn trusted her instincts. No time to think on strategies or ruses, she had to act now or lose her upper hand. So as her rival was on the canvas trying to get up Evelyn would run against the ropes once more. She needed all the momentum she could get, so she ran like the devil himself was pursuing her. After rebounding on the ropes she would go at her rival who would be almost on his feet now and go for a Shining Wizard to make some damage.

Bryan was getting increasingly irked by this fashion disaster's incessant need to struggle and fight back when the match and it's preordained conclusion were already set in stone. As if some leather clad uggo was going to defeat The Bryan Daniels. Puh-lease. All she was doing was delaying his and Ami's spa treatment and time in the massage parlor. Didn't she know time was money? And their masseuse gets particularly ornery when someone misses his appointment. Clearly Evelyn had no consideration for other people's time. Or their sense of balance for that matter since she set about nimbly leaping atop the vain model's shoulders for a twirling roundabout that had left him tumbling forward and suffering from a dizzy spell upon landing.  

Of course her aerial theatrics earned her a rousing ovation from the audience who were thrilled to see the spry rookie getting her licks in against the arrogant supermodel. Bryan currently taking a knee as he struggled to get his dizzied wits straightened out before Evelyn could capitalize any further on her stroke of dumb wrestling luck. Although not noticing where she was did cause some concern considering she wasn't in his general vicinity, the sound of sprinting foot steps causing the frazzled model athlete to peer up his head just in time to have the bottom of his jaw rocked by a blur of red hair and tacky black leather. Bryan repelling back down to the canvas in a splayed out slump and knocked for a loop after an impact that had echoed throughout the arena.

Bryan was a smug supermodel (Evelyn wasn’t even sure about the supermodel part) so full of himself and so proud of her body and face like he was some kind of supercelebrity. Not only that, he saw himself as some kind of superior being, someone worthy of worship and above the ones he considered simpletons. Evelyn was amongst that kind of people below him, and he was more than willing to show it. She just couldn’t stand people like him.

Maybe that was a major factor fueling Evelyn to push further. First by reversing the situation with a huricanrana and after that gaining even more momentum and going at Bryan with a shining wizard that got the people standing to cheer for her. It was a wonderful sensation, knowing that the tide had turned and that mostly everyone in the stands was there to support her. She had a debt to that people and she was more than willing to pay it in the form of some good show.

And what a way of giving a good show getting a really spectacular move to highlight her rush would be. Seeing that Bryan was on the mat and looked out for some seconds, Evelyn knew that she couldn’t give him a chance to stand up and mount a comeback, so she had to keep going and hitting him with all she got. That was why the British stepped above the third rope in the turnbuckle. She wanted to execute a powerful finishing move on Bryan, but that kind of thing had some sort of preparations needed. As she stood over the turnbuckle she roused the public, getting everyone’s attention before she would do her move.

The supermodel watched on in horror as her poor Bry-Bear was left motionless on the ring mats down on his back. Evelyn's counter had saved her from certain defeat but what followed after the lucky huricanrana was a niot-so-lucky shining wizard kick that struck the male supermodel right in the jaw. NO! Not the jaw, his chiseled jaw was one of his more defining features other than his beautiful eyes.

The supermodel's eyes had widened now, she looked around in panic realizing that she had to do something to even the odds. The couple had agreed to meet in the finals and this peasant was not going to deny either of them that privilege. When Evelyn made her way up on the top turnbuckle, the supermodel would hop up on the ring apron right about the time when the referee was checking whether or not Bryan was knocked out cold or not.

Ami would grab the foot of Evelyn and yank on it hard, looking to topple the female wrestler off the turnbuckle and make her stumble down on the outside for a nasty fall. "Whoops! Gotta watch your step when you're going for those high risk maneuvers" she giggled after quickly hopping off the apron and raising her arms up to plead innocence.

It was everything too great, almost too good to be true. Evelyn was making her debut against a rival bigger than her and it could have looked like the odds were against her, but with some of her agility and some well executed moves the tide was turning and Bryan’s physical superiority was rendered useless. Now it was Evelyn the one dictating the match’s rhythm and that felt really good. From the top of the turnbuckle she could see her rival sprayed on the mat, al his smug attitude went to a halt as Evelyn started showing him who is actually boss. Now the crowd cheered for her, they liked what they saw as Evelyn got ready to take off and give Bryan a good beating.

It wouldn’t come to pass. Just before Evelyn would get to jump a sudden change in the crowd’s mood warned her. Something was not right. The woman looked at her rival, he was still on the mat and motionless. The redhead looked at both sides and saw nothing, but she wasn’t looking in the correct direction. Just below her, the supermodel’s girlfriend Ami got a hold on one of Evelyn’s ankle and yanked it hard. “What the f-aaaaah!!”

Evelyn tried her best to regain her balance but it all was to no avail. Ami had resorted to a treacherous way of making things even once more and she retreated soon after that. Evelyn couldn’t get her balance together and she just fell out of the ring. The impact against the ground was brutal and made her cry in pain. Writhing in the floor while she suffered a terrible pain in all of her body, Evelyn couldn’t do much for the moment. That had been a terrible tactic coming from Bryan and Mia and it could have meant serious damage or injury for Evelyn.

The dazzling lights above reminded Bryan of being on the runway with the fashion world captivated by his every step, and was regrettably far more of a pleasant memory than what was happening now after having just been knocked upside his jaw by the rambunctious fashion disaster. Who was just than clambering up the ring-post to swirling fanfare and clear intentions of pulling off some manner of high-flying aerobatics to seal the deal and secure her passage into the next round of the tournament. Which would totally put a wrench in the fashion couple's planned pairing in the next round to offer the people a chance to witness what two gorgeous supermodels can pull off in the ring, and look damn fine doing it too~...The model athlete stewing miserably while trying to rise up once again...

...when what sounded like a collective gasp followed shortly by a thumping splash could be heard outside. Bryan flopping over and spying her Blue-Haired Boo playing innocent with Evelyn nowhere to be seen after having apparently taken quite the "accidental" tumble from her perch. B-RY shooting Ami a knowing wink and puckered airkiss before turning around and start feigning serious injuries after having been thwacked from Evelyn's Shining Wizard. Bryan taking all of the referee's attention away from anything transpiring outside of the ring to allow his lady-friend all the time in the world to continue working over the fallen red-haired bandit. "NNNngh....Ahhouch...Dunno...Dunno if I can go on...I think she's...I think she's irreparable damage here..."
