Kristy finally opened the door to her hiding place, gasping for air. She had held her breath as soon s that crazy blonde came in, and only when she was gone did, she feel comfortable to reveal herself. The red head pulled out her cellphone, and quickly dialed up her employer. She needed to talk to her! Needed to let her feelings be known!

Finally, Miranda picked up her disposable phone.

“Miranda, are you nuts! We can’t have her running around us! She just killed all of the grunts I brought, and then you gave her the only survivors!”

Miranda didn’t even register Kristy’s outburst.

“I let her join due to her skills. She dispatched a good number of hostiles and quickly took control of a situation that was alien to her. It is only logical that having a force like that could benefit our side.”

“But she could tear up everything we are working on!”

“Unlikely. She knows we know everything about her, and while I would never trust an irregular variable like her, I do believe he is capable of reason. So long as she receives benefits, she won’t turn on us…for now.”

“But-! But-!”

“I made my decision, Kristy. If Yumi prevails in the mission I provided for her, then she will join our ranks.”

Miranda hung up on Kristy, leaving the red head alone in a bloody warehouse with a couple bodies to clean up after. The young woman looked at her phone, staring in silence as her fears, worries and stress seemed to slowly pile up…

“AAAARRRGGGHHH! WHOSE GONNA HELP ME CLEAN ALL OF THIS UP?!?! DAMN YOU YUMI!!!!!”
