Melting the Arctic

Nanako's Attire (Left):

Nanako was sad. She'd been in Friction for a while and barely got anything but house shows. It was her own fault really. She'd been a real bitch to management, and she wasn't a big enough name to get away with it. So here she was, drinking her sorrows away at a bar. Nanako was wearing a black biker suit as she sat on a stool. The woman looking down at her glass with a sorrowful look. Honestly there was another reason she was sad. Her youngest sister, Ami, wasn't talking to her because she was a 'meanie'. Now Nanako had never treated any family member poorly. But her sis saw how she acted in the ring, and didn't enjoy it. Whenever Nanako approached her, Ami would run away and hide somewhere. It made her cry to think her little sister thought of her like this.

Meanwhile, her parents were just disappointed in her and thought that they needed some space apart. Nanako couldn't blame them, though. She'd had plenty of chances to shape up. But no, she always worried her parents with the street fighting and run ins with the law. Nanako just didn't know how to fix this mess she'd made of her life.

She was getting a few looks from other patrons, but that was because her biker suit was unzipped down to her belly button. This showed off a lot of cleavage since she was wearing nothing underneath. The badass didn't care, though. It was too stuffy in the bar for her to relax with her suit zipped up. She could handle herself if anyone got out of line. No one here looked tough enough to try taking her on...

The door to the bar swung open as a tattooed woman walked in. Turning the heads of the patrons. She was dressed in short jeans with knee-high socks covering the lower half of her legs. A leather jacket was draped over her shoulder as a cropped tank top covered her torso, a helmet rests under her left arm. This woman was none other than the newest signee to Friction, Rubi Wayne.

Rubi took a seat besides Nanako, ordering herself a drink. The stools surrounding Nanako were surprisingly empty. Must be something to do with her attitude. But, that didn't sway Rubi, putting her helmet on top of her jacket on one of the empty stools. As she received her drink she put the cold glass up to her lips to take a sip of the cold beverage she ordered. The condensation on the glass, dropping off and hitting her chest. Rubi eventually turned to the woman beside her.

"Why the long face?" she questioned continuing to add "Is it that you're expecting free drinks dressed like that but no one is biting?" the punk chuckled to herself before putting down a few coins in front of Nanako. "Fuck it, I'll bite if no one else is! Another drink for the Biker here!" The bartender nodded and served Nanako another drink.

Nanako was blindsided. She didn't mind the woman sitting next to her. However, she did mind the flirts. Her face quickly blushed red as she stared at the punk-ish broad. Nanako didn't zip her suit up, though. If this perv wanted to linger and drool fine. She had bigger things to worry about than being hit on. So when the bartender gave her another drink, the cold woman just signed and slid the drink back to whoever this bitch was.

"Ok look...whoever the hell you are...I don't need your drinks...and I'm not looking for bites...so if you try touching me...I'll smack you...have a good day..." Nanako said before looking forward and trying to ignore these advances. Honestly, she didn't understand why this mystery woman wanted to hit on a cold-looking bitch like herself. Nanako kind of thought she was a bit too hostile to gain any admirers. She was feeling pretty down on herself, though. Maybe she had some redeeming qualities. Then again, Nanako thought that this perv was only interested in her looks. To her that had to be it. It didn't matter anyway, she wanted to wallow, not get a love interest.

Rubi looked at the drink which was passed back to her and shrugged. "Suit yourself" she said as the Punk girl downed it before continuing on with her own drink. "I can see why there's no one around you...Honestly.." Rubi paused again and chuckled. "I think this `bad woman` act you're trying to put on is rather cute!" Rubi nudged herself into the girl, continuing to tease her. "I bet you have a hella cute smile to boot!"

With that said Rubi watched for any signs of weakness in Nanako's demeanour. Her flirts were just as relentless as her kicks that she's known for. It was unclear if she was just there to mock Nanako or to try and get her to break out of her shell and relax. Rubi's yet to have an official AFW match yet, so she was in the same boat as her but, she's awfully carefree about it. Perhaps there are some things Nanako could learn from someone like Rubi. If Nanako's eyes glanced over at the Punk styled woman she would see her hunched over the counter trying to catch any glimpse of a reaction from the girl, a smug smile was growing on Rubi's face.

She sure as hell wasn't going to make it easy on Nanako, that's for sure.

Despite her attempts to ignore this woman, Nanako was flailing. Being called cute, made her face right red as her eyes went wide. Not to mention the fact that having this woman pressed up against her was VERY uncomfortable. The mystery woman would be able to see just how much she had gotten to Nanako. The empty glass in her hand was even shaking a little. Nanako could see that smug smile in the corner of her eye, and it only made things worse.

Finally, Nanako had enough. This woman already broke the no touching rule. So now the badass had to hit her. Nanako looked down, smacked the glass down on the bar, and tried to elbow the woman in the face. "WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT TOUCHING?!" Nanako roared angrily as she struck...

But that's when things went to hell...

She'd been drinking too much, and instead of striking her target, it caused her to fall backwards on her stool before landing on her back. It didn't hurt all that much. But, it was embarrassing. So embarrassing that the arctic cooler was couldn't react beyond intense blushing. Especially because her breasts were jiggling slightly. The first thing she actually managed to do was zip up her biker suit. That way she could sit up and compose herself, and glare up at the woman.

Rubi kept looking ahead, whistling to herself as she caught Nanako fall backwards. Quickly finishing off her other drink. "Elllliminated!~" the punk woman turned herself around, spinning herself on her buttocks as she looked at the fallen Nanako, extending a hand out to her. "I already broke the 'no touching rule' so swallow your pride and take my hand before you continue making a fool out of yourself." Rubi looked sincere and slightly concerned the girl just injured herself by being such a hardass. "How much HAVE you had to drink any way? Perhaps it was wise you refused my drink"

Some of the patrons started to laugh and chuckle amongst themselves before quickly shutting up as Rubi gave them all a glance. She didn't want Nanako to grow more frustrated with herself and the situation at hand. After all, it could be the drink making her act this way.

Nanako was mortified as the others laughed. That was what she was, a joke. Honestly, it could not get any worse for her. But Nanako noticed that the mystery woman shut the crowd up with a glance. After everything she had been through lately...everything she messed up in her life...maybe it was wise to make a change. So, fighting against all her urges to attack, Nanako took Rubi's hand.

"...thanks..." she squeaked out meekly. Then, with the woman's help, Nanako stood up...and walked away. She didn't wanna stay here anymore. Nanako just wanted to escape from everything around her...she just didn't know how.

Rubi let the woman walk away while she ordered two drinks. A beer for herself and the other being a ice-cold water for Nanako. She's been drinking a lot it seems so it would've been wise to give her water instead. With these two drinks, she went and found Nanako sulking in the back of the bar at a table by herself. Rubi sat opposite of her, sliding her the water. "That'll help sober you up." Rubi said in a soft tone.

Her hand reached over and rested on the top of Nanako's as if to reassure her. "Mind telling me what's going on? Perhaps I can help? I ain't just good for drinking with you know?" Rubi smiled and caressed the back of Nanako's hand gently as she looked into her eyes. "Rules are meant to be broken, right?~" she teased. Trying to lighten the mood and bring a smile about Nanako's face. It truly felt as if someone finally cared about Nanako again. This random stranger is giving her this much time and attention? It felt nice.

Nanako was shocked when the woman came and found her. She had wanted to leave, but honestly, she didn't want to drive a motorcycle in this state. Guess that was the silver lining of being publicly embarrassed now instead of dying on the road later. Nanako didn't speak at first, but when the stranger caressed the top of her hand, it was kinda nice. Someone had given her the time of day despite her hostile and icy attitude...which melted her cold arctic heart.

Almost like a reward, her lips smiled ever so slightly while looking down away from the woman's eyes. Shortly after Nanako spilled everything. Her time in Friction, her failures, her troubles with family. All of it. She talked a long time, but it was nice to get things off her chest. The woman revealed things too. Turned out she just joined friction. Also, her name was Rubi. That was a nice name, but the woman couldn't bring herself to say it. Then, when she was finally finished talking, she scooted her chair so she could press up against Rubi this time. Then, she gave her the most awkward hug ever. Her arms only wrapping around one arm as her head rested on the woman's shoulder.

"Thank you..." she whispered softly. Still embarrassed to act all soft like this, Nanako was blushing bright red. "Well um...that's about everything...sorry again...for trying to whack you..." she'd say all flustered. In one night this woman had completely changed Nanako's attitude. She deserved a reward...but hopefully she'd settle for this hug (Even if it was kinda lame). Actually, Nanako could still give her one other thing...

"So..." she purred, while one hand started zipping her biker suit down to show off her body. "Do you still think I'm cute?" Nanako asked, while looking up at the punk woman with an adorable look in her eyes. She'd never tried to seduce someone before...but at the moment, she wanted to try.

Rubi watched the girl nuzzle up next to her, awkwardly hugging her tattoed arm. She revealed a soft smile as Nanako's face contorted to reveal a beautiful shy smile of her own. "Perhaps if you want to actually whack me, do it in the ring next time." Rubi chuckled. Watching the girl pull herself away as she ran her own hand up her torso to reach her zipper, slowly pulling it down.

With this, a blush formed on Rubi's face when she was faced with the question of whether or not she still thought Nanako was cute.  "Obviously!" she answered without hesitation. Cupping Nanako's hand with hers. "But let's not treat these people who mock you..." she whispered into Nanako's ear as she moved closer. Kissing the top of her ear as she teased the poor girl.

She took Nanako's hand, placing it on her leg as she looked back into her eyes. Tilting her head to the side and released a cute giggle of her own. "We may have something here after all!~"
