SS 19 Hardcore Championship - Jessica Wright (c) vs Alaina Sanders

Jessica felt like the queen of the world right now. Alaina was on the ground in front of her, gasping in pain, barely able to move thanks to the combo move that Jessica had just pulled off. There was only so much left for the Amazon to do. Jessica understood that everyone had a breaking point, even if Alaina was one of the toughest women that she had ever encountered in her life. But this, this would be enough to put some women in the hospital. It was amazing that Alaina was even breathing, let alone trying to scramble to get up, but Jessica knew that the Amazon was on a great precipice, and it was just a question of pushing her over.

She picked Alaina up, and threw her into the ring under the bottom rope. She slid under immediately after, and grabbed Alaina the second she could. She was going to tuck Alaina's head between her legs, and then wrap Alaina's arms underneath her. Jessica had made quite the name for himself, mostly through causing massive damage, like she was going for right now. The wise in the crowd would recognize that she was setting up her finisher, the Queenmaker.

Alaina would know it to, from how much pain she had caused.

Alaina was in such a haze that she couldn't fully put together what was going on. Bits and pieces of the picture were engrained in her mind as she flailed and flopped about as Jessica hauled her up. She knew the grip and hold of this and the split second of agonizing pain that flooded in to her forced her to painfully realize that she was just hit with a Queenmaker on the outside! Alaina moaned and hit the ground, unmoving and bloody. Her ribs were likely cracked and a couple broken along with what was likely a concussion. All that mattered now was a count beginning and Alaina barely clinging to consciousness as the count kept going with her powerless to even move.

There it was. Jessica had it. Alaina had once put her down for the long count, and now it was the Violent Violet's turn to pay back that particular favor. She took little time in rolling Alaina onto her back, and then going for the cover. She had her body across Alaina's. There was so much power there, so much that the Amazon could have brought to bear this evening. She recognized that it was only the finest of margins that she survived, especially that little escapade they had in the tunnel. Jessica, the human, had returned. She breathed in, and listened as the ref girl started counting up from 1.

"ONE!"

She shouted. Nine more to go, Jessica thought.

TWO!

Alaina was out. She was conscious for a moment after impact but the sounds of the crowd blurred together and she wasn't even sure what was going on aside from a dead weight on top of her. She couldn't even think straight. It didn't fully occur to her that she wasn't opening her eyes or moving at all as time seemed to slip right past her. Alaina slowly became aware of what was going on opening her eyes as bright lights seemed to blind her. She could hear again, and a referee was counting as she had slowly began to flop and flail her limbs about.

"EIGHT!"

No, it couldn't end like this.... not in failure. Not to Jessica. Alaina let out a weak moan as she began kicking her legs and flopping her arms about in an effort to get Jessica off of her.

"NINE!"

However,r Alaina's attempts were so weak, her limbs so limp that her gestures were mere formality, only signs to show the crowd that she was alive, not dead. All her flailing did nothing as the count continued and her heart sank as she laid motionless, bloody and injured.

"TEN!"

The bell rang and that was it. The title bid of the amazon, hell bent on returning gold to her waist had ended in brutal failure at the hands of Jessica Wright, still hardcore champion.

Every single count seemed to take an eternity. Jessica had compromised so much to get to the top, and she could not imagine what it would be like to have the greatest moment of her life taken from her. Alaina was an existential threat to that, and no one knew that more than Jessica Wright. She breathed in and out. Time slowed. The crowd's noise washed out, and was indistinct to say the least. The only thing that was real was the Amazon underneath her.

And then it came. The final count. The validation for the Violent Violet's whole career, the one thing that kept her going when everything was dark. No one in the audience really liked her, and she couldn't blame them. Jessica was not some pretty girl begging for their attention. No, she was a huge asshole who would do anything that it took to rise to the top.

She got up, and raised both arms. The ref girl came over and handed her the belt once more, and Jessica felt relief. She looked at it and held it as if it were a newborn baby. Jessica raised it high for the whole world to see. Yes, Jessica was still the hardcore champion. Yes, Jessica was on top of the world. Yes, Jessica was still the baddest bitch on the face of the earth.
