SS 19 Hardcore Championship - Jessica Wright (c) vs Alaina Sanders

When Jessica cast her purple gaze down at Alaina, it was with pure hatred in her heart. The world had gotten to her. It had been a long time since she had considered herself as a person with any sort of moral core, and she did not really miss that aspect of herself. In fight after fight, bout after bout, the desire to win chipped away at any sort of respect for rules or order. In Jessica's mind, there was only one universal law: win, and win at all costs. Sweat dripped off her. The crowd lamented that their heroine now had a chain wrapped around her neck. But Jessica stood hunched over and fierce, like a gorilla over a piece of meat.

Jessica pulled the chain tighter. This was not how it was going to end. Jessica was too brutal to let it end this way, and Alaina was a wily woman. But for right now, the fire was dancing before her eyes, and a wild smile across her face.

Alaina felt the hold tightening and her consciousness fading! She was desperate, using all the power she had to pull on the chain . She was going to have to fight through the pain, but she needed to breathe! The amazon pulled as hard as she could hoping she had enough strength and grit left to ease the pressure up enough to breathe. She gave it her all knowing that as long as she remained conscious she had a chance!

Jessica was suddenly jerked off balance by Alaina yanking the chain. That had the unfortunate effect of loosening the chain's grip over Alaina's throat, thus ending any chance that Jessica had at rendering the Amazon unconscious at the moment. Jessica released the chain. It was time for Jessica to move on to a new plan, one that involved more striking than it did anything else. If she couldn't put Alaina out via a choke, she sure as hell could put her out through strikes.

She released the chain entirely, and moved to go under the ring once more. When she emerged, it was with a bag of tacks in hand. Instead of dropping it on the floor right there, she hurled it at Alaina's head, thinking that this act would distribute the tacks anyways.

As hurt and devastated as Alaina's whole torso was, as barely conscious as she was Jessica left her alone. Alaina cried out not in pain but in anger, gritting her teeth and baring them as she rose up to her feet awkwardly. The pained, slow rise was the best Alaina could do but it proved to be good enough. She looked up to see the tacks flying her way getting her arms up in time to deflect them. Her forearms were bleeding now, clearly scratched up by the tacks but her face was mostly undamaged by them. Most importantly her eyes didn't get horribly scratched up. Alaina tried to ride her wave of adrenaline right at Jessica looking to rush forward and jump up wasting no time with a good old Lou These press to topple Jessica as well as pound her face in with her fists!

Jessica saw the tacks burst off Alaina's arm, and grimaced. Not because she was pained, of course, but because she could not inflict as much pain as she would have liked. There was some damage, but not nearly as much as she would have liked. That was fine, though. The purpose of the tacks was not to damage initially, it was to damage when Jessica slammed Alaina into them. That was on top of the fact that it was in concrete.

But more to Jessica's chagrin, Alaina was not only up but coming at her. The surprise she felt was written all over her, even moreso when Alaina pulled off her attack with surprising ease. The Violent Violet howled out in pain when she was slammed down to the ground. Before, she was standing tall and feeling strong. Now, she was lying on the concrete, feeling like crap.

Alaina howled like a banshee as she pummeled Jessica, stopping and standing tall over the purple haired champion. Gritting her teeth Alaina yanked Jessica up by the hair before bending down to grab Jessica between the legs and over the shoulder. Alaina howled again, lifting Jessica up, holding her high as she spun around. Looking down at the thumb tacks before shouting as she slammed Jessica down onto the pile of tacks as hard as she could! If people didn't think Alaina fit the hardcore mold they clearly hadn't seen her past matches, but should there be any doubt of her recent history this match was quickly erasing that doubt!

Jessica was reeling now. Moments ago, she was on top of the world, throwing everything that she had at the Amazon, and now she was on her back on the concrete, just doing her best to deal with the figurative anvil that Alaina had just hit her with. And she was not quite doing enough, as Alaina had pretty easily picked her up. The Violent Violet's face screwed up with concentration as she tried to collect herself and escape from Alaina's back.

She turned herself to see where they were going, and could have kicked herself for throwing the tacks at Alaina. "No!" Jessica shouted, but it was too late. Getting slammed into the concrete was made all the worse by a thousand tiny pin pricks of pain lighting up her back. Jessica wanted to arch her back to deal with it, but she simply couldn't. The pain was too much for her, so Jessica simply lay down. Things had gone from bad to worse.

Alaina was roaring back, even though her ribcage was screaming the entire time. She was trying her best to fight through the pain in order to inflict it right back on Jessica. She grit her teeth and bent down to try to haul Jessica back up once more. Alaina knew the suplex onto the tacks didn't do Jessica any favors but she had to go for a win and smash Jessica. To that end she hauled Jessica up and shoved her head between her legs. Alaina turned again to face the tacks and grabbed Jessica around the waist. It was clear that Alaina intended on lifting Jessica up for a big amabomb onto the tacks to try to keep Jessica down for the ten count!

Jessica was reeling, and she knew that was the case. The Violent Violet recognized that things could very easily get very chaotic for her, very fast. Least of all, because this was a hardcore match. Any pain that she had was likely to compound due to the fact that every second she was done gave Alaina another opportunity to scramble and get a weapon. As much as she was trying to, she could simply not get up thanks to the pain now coursing through her body.

Luckily and unluckily, Alaina was there to help. She got Jessica up to her feet, and then stuck Jessica's head between the Amazon's powerful thighs. From there, it was up and then down, straight into the concrete floor and the thumbtacks.

Jessica could not honestly tell you the last time she felt pain like that.

Alaina did it, she lift Jessica up and sent her crashing down onto the tacks with an amabomb! She let out a loud shout, like a scream of triumph as she hobbled over to a barricade and leaned on it for support. "Yeah! That is how its done..... count it ref she is done!" Alaina called out, the pain she felt catching up to her as her ribcage was assuredly messed up, her broken ribs causing tremendous pain. Alaina was down, a rag doll for the vile Jessica and had managed to come back. She was feeling confident about Jessica staying down, just like the last time the two had a PPV Last Woman Standing battle at Summersplash all the way back in 2015.....

"ONE!"

The count had begun and the crowd was now roaring in anticipation of the amazon regaining Friction gold...
