SS 19 Rising Star Championship - YUKINA (c) vs. Aisha Love

Yukina kept herself on top of Aisha, waiting for the referee to finish the count. She thought that the move should be enough to take out her opponent, but she still needed to be ready for the worst-case scenario where her opponent refused to be defeated. Eventually, the referee counted up to three, and the match was finally over as the bell was rung.

Feeling relief washing her whole being, Yukina picked herself up as her music was played, streamers starting to fly into the ring. She smiled as she raised her arms in triumph, and the crowd cheered for the retaining champion. She let herself be covered in ribbons and streamers as she basked in her own victory.

Soon, she received her Rising Star title belt, and she raised it over her head, making it clear that she managed to retain the title against her challenger, Aisha. Brushing aside some of the streamers off her body, she took one last look at her defeated opponent and decided to leave her be, making her way to the ramp as she continued celebrating her victory.

As she was at the ramp, Yukina once again raised the title belt over her head, smiling brightly. The crowd cheered for the Rising Star champion, and she would then make her exit with head held high. She managed to show everyone that she was here to bring prestige and value to the title, and she would do so by continuing to defend it in the next matches.

Aphrodite didn't get back up until Yukina was half way up the ramp, partially covered in streamers which she brushed off with a burst of anger. Even then she was only sitting up right, the taste of copper in her mouth as the knee had busted her lip open upon impact. In fact from that move alone which cost her the match, effectively making her whole body crimple up into the mess she was now, staring daggers at Yukina as she made her way up the ramp holding that title high.

The goddess had definitely fallen in this match, bested by the troublesome yuki-onna. She'd push away the referee whom tried to help her up, instead using the ropes to slowly get up just as Yukina left for backstage. This wouldn't be her last attempt at gold, far from it. She swore she'd be the one to get that title, no matter the cost now and get payback from the champion.

Waving her blonde hair back she'd slowly make her way backstage. She wasn't done yet, all she needed now was time and a chance. Aphrodite was determined now, all she needed was time.
