Chloe Mason vs Asuka Kotori - Red Herring

Chloe has had quite a lovely time sampling most of what Japan had to offer. In particular AFW itself. Although she wasn't in the ring more often than most, it was something she didn't mind either. Besides, there is always stuff to do outside of it that she could get into. And the victims that she had collected so far. All in all, it leads to a pretty good life so far.

Recently, however, after going through one of her 'trainers', the former commissioner came to an epiphany of sorts. A thought that had only just crossed her mind.

I need a challenge...

It was strange to think so, especially since looking back at her past bouts. And as she left the gym, leaving her opponent thoroughly humiliated, Chloe soon felt that urge, that hunger for a better challenge. Fights like those didn't really satisfy her anymore. Was it because she was getting older? Which also brings up the point that she may not have much time until her prime passes. Clearly, she aspires for more than this. It was time for her to move on to better competition...and bring them down to her feet.

Chloe Mason:

Her theme would blast through the speakers, the blonde showing herself with the usual bodyguards in tow. Clad in the one piece that Friction hasn't seen yet, the crowd gave her a couple of cheers and catcalls. She was no icon that everyone sought for but she was becoming more well known in the roster. Moving with focused grace, the bodyguards making sure nobody laid even a finger on Chloe's body. The blonde climbed up on top of the ring apron before posing between the ropes, kicking her leg high. Gaining notoriety as perhaps one of the best kickers in AFW, Chloe couldn't wait to go into her next opponent. Asuka Kotori would perhaps be a step up to the usual affair and was someone she sought out for. She could only hope she was ready for 'defeet'.

Finally getting inside, she would move to her corner and prop her left leg on the top rope. Of course, she had already stretched before, but it was to serve as a reminder to her foe of Chloe's flexibility, a confident smirk on her features. It doesn't matter if she does her research or has no knowledge of her opponent, she was confident in her ability to bring her opponents down before her...Asuka would be no exception.

Standing at the ramp, Asuka was rolling her shoulders and making sure was as limber as ever. Today's match type wasn't a simple one, it was a match type that had everything riding on the wrestler's will, skill and ruthlessness. Which meant that it was perfect for her, cause she had ample droves of all those three categories.

The stage hands were getting things ready after her opponent had made her way down to the ring and gotten settled into the squared circle. Asuka would crank her neck as she would ready herself up....watching and waiting for her theme to hit. When it did, the raven haired woman would step out onto the ramp, a luke warm reception as usual. Ever since she had made her way onto the scene her in AFW she'd been somewhat controversial, in her feud with Gwendolyn or in her encounters with Heather Sunderland. It had been a bit difficult for the fans to place her in the category that they wanted.

It didn't bother Asuka though. She would make her way down the ramp, all the way down towards the ring as she slide in under the bottom ropes and would moved up to her feet, bouncing a bit on her toes as she would turn her gaze over towards the blond opponent. Similar in size and stature, Asuka would head up to the center of the ring, hips cocked with a hand on those very hips. She'd cock her head a little to the side and thrown on a cocky smirk on her face.

She didn't say anything to Chloe, not yet. She let her body language do all the talking to show how confident she was in for this encounter.

Chloe would consider herself to be the more experienced out of the two, seeing as she had been in more of these kinds of matches. Perhaps a thought that Asuka would have in mind coming into the match. Perhaps not. There's only one way to find that out. She drummed her toes on the canvas, patiently waiting for her opponent to arrive.

In due time, her theme would hit and Asuka came out with not as much fanfare like Chloe. She could relate in a way. Her name had been met with either adoration or spite, especially when it comes to her post-match antics. Though she has gotten more than the Red Falcon herself. The Japanese woman came into the ring and she was cocky. Very cocky.

"Well somebody is confident." Said Chloe as she let her leg fall off the ropes and her foot kissed the canvas. An amused smile as she came to the centre of the ring, with a sly little smile. "I like that. Will make what comes next even more satisfying..." The ex-commissioner would meet her to the centre of the ring and she soon saw how similar they are in terms of size. All looks to be a very good match for the blonde.

Asuka would stand in the ring as she inspected Chloe a little as she would watch her come up to the center of the ring with that sly smile of hers. Asuka would simply scoff a bit at her words, placing her hands on her hips as she looked on at her opponent for the night.

She would let out a slight sight. " You're one to talk, your strut tells me everything I need to know about you. You're confident for the moment, but that will soon change when I have you begging for mercy." Asuka said in a cocky tone as she would stand face to face with the blond.

The referee would soon step in between the two and explain to them the rules, before she would then call for the bell to ring and the match to start. Asuka would move up, raising her arms up into the air as she would look to offer a lock up with the red clad blond.

"Very cocky, this one..." Chloe said in her mind, amused as she hears Asuka's braggadocious comment. She always has thought those kinds of opponents to be much more fun. Her own cocky nature can be something she could use to her own advantage. The Red Falcon perhaps doesn't think too highly of her opponent. Which is something that Chloe has gotten over the years. More often than not, they were in for a rude awakening.

"You are most free to try, young bird." She chuckled, knowing what the rules are so she did not pay much attention to what the referee had to say. When the time came to battle, Chloe settled into a stance. Well, something of a stance. Not so much a mirror to Asuka's stance as it looked like a lazier version of it. Arms slightly underneath chest level, but she did move with practised grace. Asuka would move in for a lock-up. From there, Chloe thought to herself that she probably doesn't really know who she was up against. As if she would go for a lock up like that.

Instead, Chloe would move in, her hands coming up suddenly, looking as if she was going to accept the lock-up. But that would be an illusion. The ex-commissioner would whip her foot straight up, aiming underneath her chin with a quick front kick the moment she came in the perfect range. Toes flexed back, she hoped to have gained the first strike between the two.

Asuka was already founding Chloe to be an annoying woman, calling her a young bird... which irked the raven haired wrestler quite a bit. She felt as if she had to teach this woman a lesson or two. She moved forward with her arms raised, ready to lock up with this blond bitch before her, burning desire to school her staying strong as she tried to go for a proper start.

The raven haired woman lunged in, but as she did it looked as if the blond had other plans! She would feel that foot of Chloe come right at her, smashing her straight in the chest as Asuka lunged right into it! The impact caused her lungs to expel all their air, taken by surprise from the kick, Asuka would stumble backwards, arms wrapped around her chest.

Chloe was amused more and more as she studied Asuka, watching her expressions closely. Confident, yet couldn’t handle a simple taunt. If that was the case then she wondered how she could handle anything else. Most notably the kick that she shot out towards the raven-haired girl. Turns out, not so well. Especially as it struck her chest hard. Relishing in this sight as Asuka stumbled backwards, seeing that she wishes to get away. Chloe was not about to make it any easier for her.

Stepping in and giving chase, her other leg would shoot out towards this little bird aiming for a simple snap kick. Course, with the ball of her foot aiming for her lips and her toes splayed wide enough for her nose to wedge, this was far from normal.

Asuka had certainly not expected the match to start out with her opponent hitting her with a kick to the chest, though she probably should have seen that coming. It was her mistake and it was something which she was going to have to work to make up for.

For the moment, the raven haired model just needed to back up and get away from Chloe so that she could regain the air in her lungs. Yet, as she tried to stagger back, what she was instead met with was Chloe giving chase and throwing up her right foot, smacking it across her face for that quick snap kick. Letting it make full contact with her lips and nose.

Lessening the actual impact of the kick as it smacked against her nostrils and mouth, but still with enough force to send Asuka's body up straight and then make her fall onto her back as a result, hands quickly shot up to her face holding her mouth and nose, making sure no nosebleed or cut to her lips had occurred.

Chloe relished in the kick that struck the chest and she loved seeing the look on her face when she landed it, Asuka taken by surprise and having the air taken from her briefly. Certainly wouldn't be the best start for the cocky birdie, but it definitely was for the blonde. Chloe however wasn't going to let her experience just one hit. No, Chloe now hungered for more. And she would eventually get it once her foot smacked against the nostrils and mouth!

Purring in delight, she watched Asuka's form sent up straight before falling onto her back, immediately clutching her face as if something was broken. Chuckling, Chloe circled around her, like a predator catching her prey. "Done so soon?" Chloe would say, her foot moving up before thrusting down to stomp on her chest!

The two nasty kicks she had taken had left Asuka both surprise and now somewhat dazed and in pain, though what became worse was when Chloe moved in and planted her foot right on top of Asuka's chest, pinning the brunette down and causing her to cough out from the stomp to her chest.

Asuka would glare up at Chloe, gritting her teeth as she would try and reach out for that ankle of Chloe's and yank to the side on it, trying to pull and throw Chloe down onto her side on the canvas!
