Tomoko Iida vs. Spider Kikuchi - Ready or Not

Seeing that Spider was about to lock up with her, Tomoko didn't suspect a thing as she rushed forward, hoping to start grappling with her opponent as soon as possible. But as she got closer, she saw Spider lashing out at her, bringing her two fingers at her face, hitting her with an eye poke.

"GYAHH!!!"

Tomoko squealed out in pain and surprise when she took the eye poke. She staggered back, bringing her hands onto her eyes, hoping that the sudden dirty attack didn't injure her. At the same time, the referee would come over to Spider, chastising her for using such a blatantly dirty move on her opponent.

Still, the eye poke was effective against Tomoko, leaving the cutie vulnerable before her opponent as she tried to nurse the pain. She was unable to defend herself against whatever Spider would throw at her next.

”What the hell, Spider?” The referee came and yelled Spider’s way, throwing an accusing finger straight at her. [b]”The match just started!”

Indeed, it was a little early to be reaching into her bag of tricks, but Spider was in an aggressive mood today, wanting to make sure this match started off on the right foot. Her opening gambit did that splendidly, knocking Tomoko off balance right away and giving her a golden opportunity. One that she had no intention of spoiling, either.

She moved around the referee and came at her opponent from behind, staying low, just in case Tomoko managed to catch her movements from the corner of her aching eyes. Once she was close enough, she lifted up and swung her arm downwards, coming down on the cutesy wrestler’s neck with a vicious knife edge chop, as painful as it was potent.

The eye-rake from Spider left Tomoko vulnerable, and as she tried to soothe the pain, her opponent took advantage of this by moving herself to her back. Due to the pain, Tomoko was unable to see where her opponent was, and due to her unable to see where her opponent was, she was unable to stop her from hitting her at her neck with a knife edge chop.

"GAUHH!!!"

The pain was too much for Tomoko as she staggered away, bringing her hand onto the spot where she was hit. "Guuhhhhh..." she moaned in pain, already put in a very disadvantageous position this early in this match.

A nice, clean hit, right on Tomoko’s neck. Spider loved it. Not just the feel of it, but the result, the way it left her opponent reeling. The match had only just started, and a wealth of options were being laid at Spider’s feet. Couldn’t have asked for more.

She crouched low as her foe staggered about, then moved in, leaping at the side of Tomoko’s leg and twisting to the side as she went. Her legs went in between the young star’s thighs and pulled at her legs, tugging her over and down the mat, going for a rollup pin.

A quick move, simple, the kind they taught most wrestler’s in their first week, if not their first day. Going for a pin, but not one that she expected would work, not if Tomoko was even half of a decent grappler. No, Spider just wanted to get her on the floor and panicking. Vulnerable. Unsuspecting of what would be coming next.

Reeling from the chop to her neck, Tomoko was trying to regain her bearing, but her current condition prevented her from stopping Spider from grabbing at her legs, rolling her down onto the mat, going for a rollup pin. Her eyes widened as she found herself being pinned by her opponent early in this match.

"ONE!"

Still, she would not accomplish anything by panicking, so she would try to keep her cool before bucking her feet, kicking out right after the count of two.

"TWO!"

And with that, she managed to kick out. Grunting, she would try to shove Spider away from her before attempting to push herself back up, shooting her a cute glare at the same time.

She kicked out.

In fact, if she hadn't kicked out, Spider would’ve been sorely disappointed.

Yes, she was out to win, but if there was one thing that she’d learned in her career, it was that not all victories are created equal. Beating Tomoko would be nice, yes, but doing it in such a quick, useless fashion? No. No, that wouldn’t do. Not when there were examples still to be made.

But that didn’t mean that she was just going to let it happen without having some.

”Aw!” She chuckled after Tomoko pushed her away, smiling - until her opponent threw that defiant glare her way. Quick as a whip, Spider lashed out and slapped Tomoko full on the face, before popping to her feet and hopping back, looking to see if she could stoke some fires.

Pushing Spider away and shooting her a glare, Tomoko then ended up getting a slap on her face, and her head whipped to the side. "Mwuhh!!!" There was a red welt on her cheek thanks to Spider slapping her, but she would look back at her opponent, pushing herself back up onto her feet.

"Take this!" Tomoko yelled as she would attempt to smash her forearm across Spider's upper chest, hoping that the blow could at least leave the villainous woman stunned, giving her a little bit of a room to recover and plan her next move. At this moment, Tomoko needed every opportunity she could get in order to get an upper hand over her opponent.

Spider Kikuchi was up against the ropes. How did Spider Kikuchi get up against the ropes?

It seemed like everything was in her control, that she had Tomoko right where she wanted her. The woman was clearly off her game, if she even had one, and Spider was ready for any comebacks she could make - or so she’d thought. But the spitfire burst up and lashed out with some surprising speed, striking out a blow that landed flush on Spider’s chest and sent her stumbling back.

Knowing trouble when she saw it, Spider looked to quell this little rebellion before it could get too far. She pushed off the rope, raised her foot, and threw a swift kicked, aiming the point of her boot at Tomoko’s knee, hoping to put her back on the mat.

Tomoko successfully landed a blow right across Spider's chest, and she knew that she stood a chance against this villainous woman. Smiling with her renewed vigor, the cutie aimed to continue with her momentum as she prepared herself to launch her next attack on her opponent who was currently at the ropes, but before she could do anything, Spider suddenly pushed herself away from the ropes and delivered a kick at her knee, causing Tomoko to lose her balance.

"Wahh!!!" Tomoko flailed her arms frantically as she tried to regain her balance, but she ended up falling onto her rump thanks to Spider's attempt. Grimacing, Tomoko immediately realized the trouble she was in, and she would quickly try to get herself out of trouble by scampering back, hoping to create some distance between herself and her opponent so that she could recover and get herself back up onto her feet.

Ah. The importance of timing.

Spider breathed a sigh of relief - a quick one - as Tomoko took the kick and dropped down, cutting her little rally short. That had been troubling to say the least, a sign of future problems to come. She’d enjoyed being on the offensive with this one, it was where she did her best work, and she wasn’t about to relinquish that position so easily.

”Going somewhere, brat?” Spider pushed off the ropes and charged forward, eager to close the distance before her foe could recoup. Raising her leg, she brought it down hard towards Tomoko’s leg, looking to hammer the same knee she’d kicked a moment ago and further the damage along.
