AV 18 Adrian Kytes vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt

Not one second after the fateful three count did several actions all happen at once. Gwendolyn relinquishing her application of the complex pinning predicament to a rolling slump several feet away...Panning camera shots being taken of a stunned and booing audience's astonished expressions...And naught but the most pretentious and imperialistic of snooty overtures heralding the golden-curled winner of what had become an adulterated war of a singles campaign. The blood-feud between them not concluding with the fairy-tale ending of a triumphant rapscallion thwarting the pretentious and pompous aristocrat...instead being shattered and circumvented by another, harder to swallow conclusion. That of the spoiled noblewoman reigning triumphant, even if by unscrupulous means, over a vaunted veteran and veritable legend in the industry.  Gwendolyn herself shuffling up to her knees via the coaxing of the referee who would than raise her hand to the announcer's booming pronunciation of her name, the heiress herself glossed in sweat with her eyes closed and even a bawling, and blatantly faked sob towards what she had accomplished this night as if she had just won the most prestigious of awards.

With the resistance suddenly withdrawn, Adrian's flailing carried her over to her knees accomplishing what she wanted to do only five seconds too late. Leaving her only to grab the back of her neck in pain with one hand and pound the canvas with the other in futile frustration. Every note of classical music driving more salt into the wounds as Gwendolyn was hailed the victor, Adrian's own tears of frustration and hate contrasting the crocodile tears of the blonde's false humility.

Basking in the ceaseless adulation of precisely zero ticket-holders witnessing this travesty of a conclusion unraveling, the privileged aristocrat was seemingly on the verge of "thanking the academy" given how overblown her victorious reveling was. Those in the arena yearning for the upper-class snob to be doled out more comeuppance were instead witnesses to Gwen backing up every pretentious word of her vainglorious boasting. Ages of contentious animosity and outright vandalism between the two had culminated in Gwendolyn being heralded as the victor, who than began making significant headway in staggering back to verticality without assistance from the referee. One arm shielding where Adrian's elbow drop made impact as she wobbled in front of poor, poor Adrian.

"...*pant*...*pant*...uncivilized peasant...on one's knees in humble subjugation...let it never be said that a Bettencourt never makes good on her promises." Gwendolyn uttered with wheezing fatigue, alluding to the bitter promise she uttered during the conclusion of their Creme De La Creme segment. "I suggested than...that we we're two of a kind...*pant*...but it seems one difference separates us...A conviction towards attaining victory by any means necessary. Here, blooming proudly, is the Imperial Rose who knows that all one needs is victory, and the worst I can ever be, is the best. Let that be mine own parting words to you, Madam Kytes...as I brush you aside like the dirt you are…" Gwendolyn twisting the knife just a little more with a smug, yet still grimacing smirk as she began making her weary way towards the ropes.

With tears stinging her eyes as Gwen poured on an extra heap of salt, the path ahead for Adrian became clear. That was the difference between the two of them, wasn't it? Gwen was willing to do whatever it took to win no matter what, which was why she was getting her choice of music, why she was getting her name announced at the end, why she had by hook or by crook, beaten the brunette 1,2,3. If only she hadn't faltered with the chair in her hands. She might have been disqualified, but at least she could stand tall over the beaten and bloodied Gwendolyn.

And there's still time for that.

As soon as the blonde turned her back Adrian leapt up like a cat, grabbing hold of one of the long flowing locks of hair to yank the victorious heiress back down to earth with a snap, the match was over but Adrian Kytes was not about to let go so easily.

Rounds of pity applause meant to console the devastated fan-favorite seemingly accomplished none of that as the epitome of pompous hubris herself ensured that she would have the last, soul-crushing words before bidding this unkempt irritant adieu. Her observation bringing a fittingly poetic finale to this dueling rivalry of warring egos. All of her vainglorious boasting about being the superior wrestler to Adrian now being cemented into the record books with a victory that few saw coming and fewer wished to witness. To Gwendolyn, the sight of a humbled Adrian sobbing pathetically from her own impoverished ineptitude meant that the cosplayer had finally accepted the innate superiority of the upper class.

With her wrestling bragging rights procured and her grappling legacy having added yet another triumphant milestone to her ever mounting list of accolades~...Gwendolyn started exiting stage left with her battered frame making it a slogging labor of a walk-"YYYAHHH!!!"-but one that was dramatically short-lived thanks to Adrian's hair-pulling halt that ended with the heiress having the back of her golden-curled cranium slammed into the canvas!!! Gwendolyn twisting to the side while cradling the back of her head, the booming sound signaling the end of both the heiress' theme and the aforementioned pity applause.

The high pitched scream was more effective than a record scratch at cutting the music, replaced by the sudden cheer of the previously dissatisfied crowd as they were about to watch the deceitful diva get hers from the rightfully angry Adrian Kytes, raising their half-empty beer cups as the bloodied brunette went for the simple but cathartic option, stomping straight down on Gwendolyn's pretty little head as many times as she could before someone interviened.

The referee was naturally first on the scene and very reluctant to get involved, after all she'd already been kicked in the head by the enraged Adrian once and that had seen her staring at the lights for at least a minute. Still, she was the official in this, so she had to at least try and pry the former cosplayer away before she added more stains to the canvas. Her actions however, instead of just delaying the post-match aggression simply made her the target of ire instead, as Adrian snapped towards her at the slightest tug of her arm and reached up to grab her by the hair.

With a shrill shriek from the official, Adrian pulled her towards the corner with hands on both her hair and waistband, forcing her to bend down before she threw the referee between the turnbuckles, shoulder first into the steel ring post, and left her lying limply while she returned to finish what she had started with Gwendolyn.

Yearning intentions towards spending the rest of the night unwinding beneath the sweltering and meditative waters of her own private hot tub were all sounding ever so heavenly right about now...but Gwendolyn's shuffling departure went decidedly South as Adrian yanked her out of her daydreams and back to the head bashing reality of her predicament. Rattling her senses and reintroducing her throbbing headache as the heiress started shielding her cranium as best she could after the first stomp with just as much concern diverted to her flawless visage as the impending head trauma if she didn't coverup.

Unaware and uncaring as to what caused the reprieve in the showering torrent of stomps, Gwendolyn meekly rolled over to her knees and started righting herself upward as best she could. Insurance premiums for referees were undoubtedly raising by the time the night is done given the continued thrashing tonight's official was enduring, the audience's ecstatic cheers pausing briefly from Adrian's savage posting of the defenseless referee paying for getting between a beast and it's meal. Gwendolyn wearily lurched up to her knees with wobbly vision and a raised index finger as she wavered left and right like a soon to be Fatality'ed Mortal Kombat character. "P-Parley?..."
