AV 18 Adrian Kytes vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt

Considering that the prime majority of Gwendolyn's striking prowess came from her sublimely toned legs, the heiress felt as if her striker's pride was at stake from having this rebellious gamer girl target her knee with her own inferior kicks. She had practically taken it as a blatant offense and direct challenge to determine who held the superior strikes, and it was one she intended to duly reciprocate to...regrettably it was merely a well-baited feint that was reflexively blocked and swiftly countered with cinched in side headlock to her hair-drilled cranium.

"Tch...impudent..." Gwendolyn's scowling visage growled indignantly into the side of Adrian's soft chest with one of her legs extended far behind her as she readjusted her posture to now be hunched over. The prideful aristocrat languishing from the constriction, but not altogether panicking either. The patting hands around Adrian's waist eventually finding eachother in the form of a waistlock, one that precipitated Gwendolyn bucking her hips and tensing her leg muscles to heave Adrian overhead into an attempted backdrop suplex.

Adrian was very Impudent, her impudence was something she was proud of, like how tight she could wrap her arm around Gwendolyn's neck without getting any blonde hair in her face. What she wasn't proud of was how in her attempt to wrench on the trapped Heiress, she had neglected to prevent Gwen from getting a solid enough base of her own and enough leverage to pick the former cosplayer up off her feet.

"Whoa!" the brunette called out as she left the ground unwillingly, a hand broke free from her own headlock in an attempt to do something to deter Gwen from the attempted backdrop but it was too late, Adrian landed flat on her back with a slam and a hiss of pain "...alright." She groaned, rolling over and getting back to her feet. As little as the two thought of each other's skills, neither of them were chumps, both of them had been champions and neither could afford to be so dismissive to the other, be it Gwen's stalling or Adrian mugging it up in a headlock.

Gwendolyn's suplexing prowess was, by now, simply an established core of her offense that still astounded some by it's flawlessly fluid execution. A benefit to having such exquisitely toned legs being the ease with which she could slam her opponents to and fro, all from utilizing the age-old adage of lifting with one's legs. The seamless suplex freeing the heiress from the tightened headlock, with the ring still jostling somewhat as she started climbing back to her feet to face Adrian.

Although her pace was visually hobbled from the stinging sensation in her knee, Gwen took little time in stepping towards the rattled former cosplayer while she was still hunched over from getting up and tug her scruffy-haired head forward into a retaliatory front-headlock. One that Gwendolyn was not intending to milk in typical mugging fashion, a bitter scowl on her face before she peppered Adrian's back with one stiff forearm smash to her spine before attempting to motion to the side. A twisting motion intended to spin them around and allow Adrian a foreboding view of the roof before Gwen collapsed to her back in a swinging neckbreaker.

It was out of the frying pan and into the Fire for Adrian right now, she had just managed to get up off the ground before being given a taste of her own headlock-shaped medicine. The brunette tried to grab up, wrapping her arms around Gwendolyn in preparation for a suplex of her own, but this time it was Gwen's turn to be quicker on the draw: smashing Adrian between her shoulder blades and using the opportunity to give the brunette a crick in the neck as Adrian hit the ground for the second time in 20 seconds.

Holding the back of her neck as she gave the canvas a reflexive kick, Adrian rolled over to bury her face in the canvas while she waited for the pain to get down to a more manageable level before she started to pick herself up again, slower this time.

As if mirroring the differences between day and night, Adrian's languishing misery after getting her neck slammed into the canvas was a stark contrast to the poised calmness with which Gwendolyn raised herself up to a prim and proper sitting position. Her elegant legs crossed with a snooty smirk directed over her shoulder towards the former cosplayer just than fumbling over herself to lay flat on the canvas. Adrian's harrowing endurance not coming off as much of a surprise to Gwendolyn considering this unrefined philistine was once dubbed Hardcore Champion...but then again, so was the boorish hooligan Liberty Vella, a coarse individual whom she elegantly trounced. So that was a decidedly low bar, in her humble opinion.

"...*giggle*...Perhaps you should have cosplayed as someone who actually stands a chance of providing a decent challenge to someone of my regal nobility~..." Gwendolyn smugly spoke as she ascended rather quickly to ensure she was on her feet well before the impudent gamer-girl. All so she could manage a clenching grip on that unkempt hair of hers while Adrian was still on her hand and knees before tugging her in a forced crawl towards the nearby ropes and draping her neck over the middle tether. Gwen's smooth thigh than leveraged against the back of her neck for what was a blatant rope choke, complete with a primping fluff of her golden ringlets and lavish posturing. All to booing ire of the crowd, and the counting of the referee...of which Gwen would only relent after the four count...

Once Adrian got the opportunity to get her neck and throat working properly again, she'd have a retort ready for Gwendolyn but the blonde's aggression combined with a callous disregard for the rules was making it a little difficult for Adrian to get a word in, let alone any offence against the heiress. The early mistake was turning out to be a very costly one as Gwen followed up one assault to the neck with another, this time letting the rope do the squeezing while she pressed her thigh down to choke the brunette out.

Grabbing the middle rope to try and create some space to breath, slipping forward to let the cable catch the top of her chest rather than let the pressure be completely on her neck, Adrian coughed and spluttered when the blonde eventually released her illegal hold. "Cheat... cheating already?" she hacked out "Thought you... you said you could beat me easy, you think I'm that much better you need to cheat to have a chance?" the brunette wheezed, down on her knees while she laid against the middle rope for support. Defiant even in dire straights.

Concentrating thus far on Adrian's neck did indeed have the inherent benefit of disrupting the former cosplayer's breathing rate. But robbing Adrian of that rebellious tongue of hers was an even more compelling reason to target the former cosplayer's windpipe, Gwendolyn doing just that as she leveraged herself into the rope choke for as long as the referee's patience allowed. Gwendolyn presenting her most deviously innocent smile as she took a step or two backward with hands raised to feign innocence, though she was still close enough to overhear the chortled words coming from Adrian's raspy voice.

"Excusez-moi? Are mine ears deceiving me? THIS...coming from the same loathsome individual who could only attain championship gold in a division that, by it's own innate existence, has no rules to adhere to. Now that, is rich...and I should know~..." Gwendolyn pompously proclaimed while mindfully backpedaling behind Adrian in preparation of her next maneuver...the hype and anticipation than reaching it's apex when she took off sprinting in Adrian's direction in what was sure to be a concussive strike.....at least until the heiress subverted expectations by instead nimbly vaulting herself over the top rope for an exceptionally dainty landing in front of Adrian on the outskirts of the ring. A seamless pivot than twisting her toward Adrian as she disrespectfully slapped the proverbial taste out of Adrian's mouth, and maybe a fair bit of spittle.

She was in for it now, Adrian could have just suffered in silence and used the rope break time to gain enough air to start a counter attack but nooo, she had to use much needed brain oxygen on taunting. Which probably explained a lot of things if the brain wasn't getting oxygen, like a vicious circle of stupid ideas draining smarts away from the next one. The former cosplayer braced herself for the incoming repeated choke only to blink in surprise when Gwen leapt clear over the ropes without even trying to attack her on the way down.

SLAP

Until the blonde spun around that was, sending Adrian staggering away from the ropes with a sting in the cheek and less saliva in the mouth. It was humilating, hurtful and probably the nicest thing Gwendolyn could have ever done for Adrian, she was free from the ropes with her wits slapped back into her. At least now she could think clearly for a while.

What those of a more strategic mind would deem as an act of hubris and egotistical vanity, Gwendolyn would quantify as...gratifying catharsis. Ever since first laying her hazel eyes on Adrian and exchanging vitriolic barbs with her on that podium, slapping the taste out of this reprehensible philistine's uncouth mouth was always in the back of her mind as a fanciful reverie...and one that felt just as delightfully satisfying as she imagined it to be in her daydreams.

The dignified English-woman's elegant acrobatics and debasing swat across the face earned it's fair share of ire from the booing masses expecting an awe-inspiring feat, only to be manipulated once more by the pretentious princess than rolling in under the bottom rope. Gwendolyn taking a poised and hip-swaying stroll towards the rattled gamer girl, digging her hands into Adrian's hair for a commanding tug upward whilst pushing her towards the ropes. "You've no earthly idea how long I've been waiting to do that~..." Gwendolyn smugly enunciated, one knife-edge chop swiftly doled out before flinging Adrian across the ring in an Irish whip with nothing pleasant awaiting her upon her bounce off the ropes...

Wiping the last of spittle off of her chin and wincing at the knife edge chop, Adrian was sore but standing against the heiress as the blonde tried to send Adrian running across the ring for more fanciful punishment. This time the former cosplayer was ready for it, holding on tight on Gwendolyn's wrist as she was whipped to try and anchor herself before giving the blonde a forceful pull herself to get the Heiress to at least stumble towards the brunette.

Sending one arm low, Adrian would catch the incoming Gwendolyn and twist herself around, throwing her hated rival down to the canvas for the first time this match with a snap powerslam that would make her head spin and her back hurt while Adrian popped straight back on her feet, hands curling into fists as she hissed through the adrenaline spike. No words, no taunts, just Adrian throwing her arms up to demand that Gwen get back on her feet.
