Michael Northman Vs. Harper Williams: The Brave and the blond

Michael was feeling fairly dazed, stunned might have been a better word for it, woozy too. There were many words to describe his current state as he laid there, head lolling about for a second or two as he tried to get his senses back. Only for a sudden bit of weight to end up down on his waist, feeling himself being straddled by the beautiful blond opponent of his.

Her words were on deafened ears, as currently sounds were a bit muffled, his head trying to get back most of his senses, vision was the first one, as he was starting to see things clearly now. Sound came about the time when she reached down and grabbed his arms.

Being pulled upright, only for that brutal headbutt to smack straight into his head and knock the senses out of him once more, falling straight back down onto his back with a heavy groan....

“Dang it, Harp! Yer so hard-headed!”

Ah, she could already hear her brothers giving her hell for that one right now. She had two good fists for a reason. Why did she have to go throwing her head into the mix like that? One of these days she was gonna give one of those headbutts and then there wasn’t going to be anymore head to give.

Well today wasn’t that day. Harper shook her head out with a quick jostle of her long blonde ponytail. The southern belle stood upright again and threw a fist into the air, soaking in the applause as she took a quick little stride around Michael. She couldn’t fight the cocky little smirk that grew on her lips. She’d never heard the roar of a crowd like this. Life on the big stage was something else. She might be able to get used to this.

For now, though, a change of venue. Harper reached down and pulled Micheal up by the arm, lugging him along and pushing him back into the ring by rolling him under the bottom rope. Rather than slipping in alongside him, though, the Bobcat let her wild side run free a little. She leaped up onto the corner than pounced up again onto the top rope, leaping off it to come down on the Swede’s chest with an elbow drop.

Harper did have quite a hard head, begin smashed down with it wasn't exactly a nice feeling for the young Northman, who would groan for a moment or two, trying to gather his senses. All the while his blond opponent was taking her time soaking in the applause from the crowd.

Michael was still busy trying to gather himself, when Harper came up towards him, taking a hold of him and then rolling him up under the bottom ropes and into the ring. He rolled a bit, before coming to a stop on his back. His head starting to clear up and he was starting to look around, still on his back.

Hearing the familiar sound of the crowd cheering, he raised his head to see Harper on the top ropes! His eyes would widen as he decided to make haste, when she leaped off of the top rope turnbuckle, Michael would swiftly roll to the side!! Trying to roll out of the way and leave Harper going elbow first straight into the canvas.

Aw, crap.

She was really betting on that one winning, too. But all Harper found waiting for her was a nice slab of hard floor where Michael's smooth chest should have been. Uh...did she say smooth? She meant firm. Uh...did she say firm? She meant…

God damn, her elbow hurt!

The southern belle flinched and fidgeted on the ground as she clutched her elbow, trying to shake some of the pain out of it. On the bright side, the fall wasn’t as bad as it would have been if she’d chosen not to get Michael into the ring first. On the not so bright side, the Swede had a chance to recover now and Harper was hoping he wasn’t even half as swift as he was a minute ago.

This was his chance!

Michael had just managed to roll out of the way of Harper's nasty elbow drop, getting up towards his feet and shaking her head a little to clear the cobwebs. He would watch and wait as she fidgeted on the ground. Michael would smirk a little, waiting for Harper to start to rise little by little.

When she got up to her knees, Michael would rush right towards her! Going full speed towards the blond as he would try and drive his knee right into her forehead. Aiming to go in for a quick shining wizard! Looking to smack that hard head of Miss Williams and knock her down onto her back!!

“Ahhh...ya freakin’ snakin’ pretty boy. Tumblin’ like a dang weed...”

Wasn’t helping Harper’s mood that she landed on her funny bone a bit. The tingle working up her arm was probably gonna be bothering her the rest of the night. Still, wasn’t nothing to fret over. Micheal was a fast one, but if she could catch him toe-to-toe things would get squared away pretty quickly. She’d outboxed folks twice his size. Nothing to fret over if she hit a snag here or there.

And she kept thinking something like that right until Micheal’s knee clapped her upside the head. She wasn’t entirely sure when it came since she wasn’t paying him all that much mind frankly between the pain in her arm and trying to stand up one-handed. She was just about up to one knee when something brushed her from the side. Hard. The world took a hard swivel, tilting to the side like a teeter-totter and taking the southern belle along with it, flat on her back with her arms and legs spread wide.

The youngest Northman charged right in at Harper and jumped up just a little, snapping his right leg up into the side of Harper's head! Snapping her down onto the mat in an instant! Dropping onto his side, Michael was quick to push up to his knees, shaking his head a little as he would bounce lightly on his feet.

Hoping that Harper was knocked out for long enough, Michael would take to a run for the ropes! Charging right at them as he would jump up onto the middle ropes and try and bounce off of them! Seeking to go into an arch in the air and send himself down like a shower of rain, right down on top of Harper! Trying to land right onto her torso with an attempt of a Lionsault!

Looking to go in for a hopefully good array of highflying moves on the beautiful blond woman!

“Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…”

Harper hated everything right now. Just all of it.

It was hardly the first time she’d nearly had the sense knocked clean from her head. She’d taken hard knocks from time to time, dangled on the edge of consciousness more times than a doctor would recommend for her health if she ever made time to see one. Didn’t make the feeling any easier to get used to. Her voluminous chest rose and fell steadily as she her eyes wrinkled together, getting her hazy vision back in alignment.

You didn’t take that many knocks without building up a bit of resistance, though. Micheal’s advanatage was that he’d been in the ring longer than her. He was quick on his feet and clearly knew his stuff. That was why she didn’t have any right to be surprised when he went to capitalize on the advantage he’d made, swooping in for the kill with a classic lionsault that would leave her helpless.

In theory. Her head was awash, but she still had two perfectly good legs to get some mileage out of. Harper’s body stirred just a moment before impact. Harper’s body curled up just a moment before impact, bringing her knees up in time for Swede’s stomach.

Michael was in control right now and he needed to take advantage of it, running towards the ropes Michael moved up on the ropes, jumping off of the middle set and leaping into the air and flying through the ring, about to come down right on top of Harper.

As he was coming down in that big arc, he would see her legs shoot up and those knees of hers being right in his path. There was nothing that Michael could do to prevent what was going to happen. He fell down right into those knees, abs first, air exploding out of his lungs as he would bounce off of her body and down onto his ass, " Uugh!" He grunted out, sent into a coughing fit as he would try and recover while moving away from Harper to get some distance.

That was about as effective a counter as she was hoping for.

It wasn’t the cleanest counter in the book, sure, but it was what saved her from possibly losing this match from that impressive looking lionsault. There was only so much breathing room she could muster from this situation, and she was looking to gather every last scrap she could before the Swede found any more openings to work with.

Harper was slow to move once she felt the Micheal’s body yield to her knees, but she knew she had to if she wanted to really reverse things here. The southern belle rolled onto her front and scrambled to her feet as Micheal crawled away. Moving quickly to his side, Harper leaped up off his back with her left foot and kicked down on the back of his head a second later with her right, smashing his face into the floor with a classic curb stomp.
