Michael Northman Vs. Harper Williams: The Brave and the blond

Michael's swiftness was coming into to great play here as he jumped up and avoided her leg sweep style kick, managing to then take advantage of the over exposed belly of Harper as he jumped up and dropped down, throwing his elbow down into her midriff.

Leaving her jackknifed and in a bad spot, Michael would move up to his knees and then rise to his feet. Looking over the young woman, he would turn and run towards the ropes. Running straight at the ropes which he would turn around from and then run at Harper, at full speed.

He would run towards Harper and then try and jump up and then throw his weight down, lowerback first aimed right on top of Harper for a running Senton! Looking to keep her winded and in pain!

Yeup. Gut shots still sucked, even in Japan. Glad that hadn’t changed.

In Harper’s personal experience, it was probably her second least favorite place to get punched. It didn’t just hurt, it knocked the air clean out and left you a bit dazed. The worst of all worlds when in a fight. Then Michael went and made it worse by using his elbow, stabbing her between it and the ground. Sucked. That was why she had few other options than to try her luck at making some distance, get enough air to make a comeback.

That was until she heard the sound of rushing feet headed her way. She wasn’t sure when exactly Michael had managed built up all that momentum he was running with, but it didn’t matter much in the end, because Harper was feeling the full force of it as his lower body collided with hers. She let out a squawk, slapped face first into the ground, and stopped moving. Except for her head, which lulled from side to side as some murmurs slipped out from underneath.

Seemed like it hurt.

Michael went and decided to go for what he was best it, a very quick paced and generally highflying action style, which seemed to work out in this case as he came in running and dropped down with that running senton bomb! Hitting Harper right on her lower frame. Flattening her down back against the canvas.

The young Swede would quickly pull himself up and look to take to the corner for the first time in this match. Dashing towards the turnbuckle and with a swift motion jumped up to the middle ropes and the leaped up onto the top with a bounce. Turning around as he stood there, crouching down a bit he'd wait.

Waited and watched as he looked for Harper to start to rise up. If she did so, the blond young Northman would try and jump up off of the turnbuckle and blast his feet out right into her chest for a hopeful missile drop kick! Looking to come into this match as strong as he could against a woman who'd gone toe to toe with Karina Northman of all people!

Harper actually wasn’t a total stranger to this kind of move. She hadn’t done pro-wrestling proper before, but she and her brothers watched it pretty regular back in the day with ounces of soda and sugar bombs in their bellies. A combination that almost always resulted in the living room becoming a total mess as they all threw each other around and did as many piledrivers and suplexes as they could fit to get the last say before their papa rolled around the corner, unrolled lasso in hand.

Good memories. That’s what made it weirdly nostalgic when Michael managed to hit her with the exact same leg drop Johnny had about seven years ago, only with a lot more force and stopping power behind it.

Nothing that could keep her down for good, though. Planting her hands on the canvas, Harper slowly pushed herself up to a crouched position, slightly bewildered by the rising tension and chants she could feel from the crowd around her. Right up until she saw the shadow gliding toward her and saw her opponent descending fast toward her.

She wasn’t sure what he was going for in the split-second she had to think, but Harper had been fighting long enough to know it wasn’t anything that would feel good. Thinking quick on her feet, Harper flopped forward onto her chest, reacquainting herself with the ground for a moment to hopefully have the aerial Northman sail over her.

Michael sailed through the air at great speed as he came flying in leg first towards his generously chested opponent's treasure trove. Though it seemed as if he hadn't found that x which would mark the spot as it vanished from his sights. Flying over the busty Harper and shortly enough landing on his back.

He had managed to dull the fall a bit, and it didn't hurt him...too much but he was a bit confused and stunned. Slower to rise than normal, as he tried to quickly scramble his way up towards a stand and turn towards the woman.

Trying to raise his arms and get ready to throw down with Harper Williams the second that the blond came up as well....though he might be too late and she might already be on him!

People tended to forget just how nimble Harper could be, especially when she was pressed. Between her impressive strength and her lack of any real fighting style, it was just one the things that got lost in the shuffle until it came up again. It was good for offense, let her come in quick with her fists and keep on the pressure, but it also kept her out of danger in the rare - well, very rare - instance she was able to see it coming.

Case in point, Michael went sailing straight over her. He had a pretty big buildup to that dropkick and that she was still pretty fresh, but she only narrowly managed to come out unscathed there. The Swede was making himself out to be a pretty tough opponent, at least while he kept the pressure on. Harper was curious to see how that would hold up when she brought the fight his way.

A chance appeared in front of her as she rose up to one knee. While Micheal wasn’t as nearly stunned as she would have liked, he clearly didn’t enjoy his landing all that much. He was stunned, and Harper was a bit quicker to rise than him, leaving her with a prime opportunity to turn the tables on the speedster that left a sly grin on her face.

From her sprinter’s crouch, she lunged towards her opponent and quickly went to close the distance. “Gotta be faster than that, Mikey!” She shouted out as she leaped onto his back attempted to pull him to the ground with a sleeper hold.

Michael shook his head as he would start to push himself up to his knees, groaning just a little after his not so pleasant fall down onto the canvas, he had hoped to keep his momentum going but it looked as if Harper was a tougher opponent than he had first thought.

Rising up to his feet, or trying to before he felt a sudden weight crash into his back. Along with a pillow like feeling against his shoulder blades. It was clear enough what it was with just a moment of thinking. He was pushed down onto his front by that weight coming against him though and with Harper on top of him those arms locking tightly up against his neck and the sleeper was fixed.

"Mmgrh..." Michael grunted, a faint blush on his cheeks as he placed his palms against the canvas and started to try and push himself up, trying to get back up onto his knees as he figured that was the best place to try and fight out of this hold.

Harper wasn’t the most technical fighter in the world, but that was the beauty of the sleeper hold. You really didn’t have to be. A kid could do it with even the foggiest idea of what it looked like. It was all about being as effective as it was simple.

That spoke for itself as Michael grappled about on the ground, trying to shake her weight off of him, but not making as much progress as he could. A wry grin grew on the busty blonde’s lips, letting out a chuckle that rumbled between their bodies. “I don’t think y’all are tryin’ as best you can. Guess you don’t mind being this close to me, huh?” Harper said into his ear as she adjusted the hold a bit, getting a better grip on his head as she brought them closer together.

Michael seemed to be having other ideas, though, as he went to push himself up. The Arizonan did her best with the hold, but he was on his knees in only a few moments. Couldn’t imagine it would take that much longer before he was on his feet again.

She didn’t intend to let him go soon, though. Harper brought her legs up and went to lock them around his midsection with a pair of bodyscissors. The second she managed to do that, she’d reel him back with a hard yank, trying to pull him back towards the ground.

Michael wasn't able to prevent Harper from locking in her sleeper hold, yet the young blond was quick to try and find a way out of this hold as he started to push himself up. Trying his best to ignore her teasing words as she pressed tightly against his back, feeling those breasts of hers mushroom against his back...

The young Northman would blush just a little, as he would start to push up towards his knees, but the second he got up those strong legs of Harper snapped shut around his waist and he felt the stronger woman yank him down. He was pulled down on top of Harper as the double hold of the blond was locked in tight and he could feel the constriction, as if a boa had wrapped around him. "Grgh!..."

Quickly finding desperation setting in, but not recklessness, he would try and figure out the best course of action. Yet, quickly settled on trying to throw elbows down into Harper's sides, trying to convince her to release him.

Harper almost forgot about how fun it was to mess with other boys. Between the trip to Japan, settling in, and her only other match with a guy between then and now being with...Drake...her opportunities were pretty limited, to say the least.

Michael was probably the dude she’d been looking to roll around with for a bit now. They hadn’t been at this for long, but he was showing off some potential. He had some fun reactions and seemed to know his way around a fight, if he was a little flashier about it than she was. She wondered if she could knock the wind out of those sails in some more creative ways...

Gettin’ ahead of herself, though. Right now, the Swede gave her another problem to worry about. Or several, actually, that buried right into her side. She thought she’d had him pretty secure with the headlock, but his maneuverability was a bit better than she’d given him credit for. One elbow landed into the side of her ribcage, drawing a wheeze from her lips. She attempted to shuffle into a better position, but a second elbow deterred that right away. The Arizonan felt her grip on Michael weakening, a couple more shots and he’d be out.

Rather than risk a cramp, Harper released the lock on his head and untangled her legs from his waist, pushing him away a bit. She wasn’t quick to just stand right back, though. Instead, she placed her feet on his back and kicked off it, letting her roll backwards onto her feet while keeping the Swede on his stomach. A neat little kick-up she was sure wouldn’t go unappreciated.
