Juno Sawyer:

The silent sound of foot steps filled the empty halls as a lone figure walked on from the projection booth she had left moments before. It was strange to find the hall so empty, often when she came in to visit it was hustling with employees and managers, all talking nonsense about technicalities, their plans on the nights entertainment, or what ever such dribble they spouted for the hours they worked. For whatever reason, everyone was gone, but that suited the woman fine, as the quiet gave her the best company she could have asked for…Herself.

The woman was none other than Juno Sawyer, a pseudo-nurse type that thought of herself as above everyone, her attitude not so much snotty but often coming across closer to passive aggressive. If she kept company, she did not do so for long, as she was often seen alone wandering the halls when “working”, always wearing that odd medical mask. Some thought she was simply sick, others knew it was because she had such a complex about her, she even hated the thought that she breathed the same air as others.

Juno trudged along, humming a tune that had been stuck in her head for the past few days. Well, the parts that could be audibly hummed. She had been working with the music the past few days, using it to create atmosphere in her next video which she had just dropped off. Juno never considered herself an artist when it came to video making, something closer to a hobby actually. She had set out to make this next one at about the time she got the memo on who her next opponent would be.

Priscilla Haynes. She was a fun one to look into. Not so much match history, though Juno did indeed look into what there was, but more so her personal history. So much raw material to work with in the video, and oh so many locations Juno got to choose from to make what was sure to be a captivating video.

A glance at the clock informed her that the match would soon be getting under way, and she would need to head back towards the locker room to change if she wanted to make it in time for her videos premier showing.

The quiet hallway remained empty, as if frozen in time as Juno continued to walk towards the locker room, only the echoes of her foot steps and silent humming could be heard as she played out the video in her head one last time, smiling underneath her medical mask all the way.

The crowd was bursting tonight. It seemed like there was going to be a good few matches lined up, and the one that was coming up next seemed fairly interesting. It was clear that Priscilla had grown quite a fan base around her, many fans in the crowd cheering her name and holding up homemade signs in her favor, excited to see their favorite woman in action tonight. Few had heard of the opponent she would be facing and had already written her off. Strangely, the few audience members who did know who Juno Sawyer was seemed uncomfortable. They noticeably squirmed, and continued to look around, as if expecting something. No one would notice these individuals, as they were far too few and far between the roaring crowd.
The lights began to dim, like a movie theater starting the show. It was time for the match to start.

Rather than a loud, flashy entrance, the giant screen that often projected a highlights reel of the combatant’s accomplishments lit up in a bright white screen. For a moment, it hovered there, only casting a heavenly white light upon the crowd, casting away the shadows closest to it. Slowly, something began to encroach upon the screens light. It started in the bottom corner, and steadily grew, some odd type of shape. Another shape, similar to the first appeared on the other side of the screen, growing at the same pace as the first object. Silence was the only audio that was cast upon the crowd at this point, leaving a few of the audience members to mumble and guess at what was to come next.

Finally, the shapes turned into letters, more and more beginning to appear every moment until finally a word could be seen.

“Welcome.”

A few audience members chuckled, surprised at the simple greeting after such a large build up. Surly, it was just a silly way to subvert expectations, to get the audience in the mood for some surprises. Yet… the screen continued to pull back, revealing even more letters. After a few moments, it could be seen that this message was actually a video of a sign. It was a grainy film, almost like a creepy home video type. A moment after it was revealed to be a sign, the full message could finally be read:


Many audience members blinked in confusion. The more devoted of Priscilla’s fan base recognized the sign, but many were left somewhat dumbfounded, not knowing the backstory of either of these fighters.

The camera finally panned off towards the building of the orphanage, its pristine walls looked dirty with the old timey filter the cameraman used, the grainy effects emphasizing the buildings age by at least a decade. What was actually a beautiful building was expertly shot to show the worst angles possible, all the cracks in the pristine walls, the dust on the cleaned windows. Somehow, it looked…filthy, the way it was shot. The camera began to approach the door, a creepy tune began to play as whoever was behind the camera swung open the door.

Rather than the warm, well maintenance orphanage Priscilla came from, the inside became something of a dusty, somewhat beaten up and poorly lit hallway, countless doors on either side. The audio played sickening noise, and flashes of bloody medical tools, broken teeth, a form moving and stripping something of its flesh were all that could be made out of the quick visuals. The camera continued to move towards the very end, where a dark green light seemed to be radiating. Another flash of a pair of arms holding something down played with the music, the camera approaching the door cautiously. The camera paused a moment as it reached the door frame, a shadow passing by the lights source, muffled grunts could be heard in the next room. A slight breath from what sounded like a woman followed. The camera paused as more stripping noises were heard coming from inside. After seemingly gathering its courage, it rounded the corner to look inside the room.

The room was as grungy and dirty as the hallway, newspaper strewn about and crumpled all over the floor as three forms huddled around the center. All of them appeared to be Nurses, one dressed in bright pink, another a baby blue, and finally, the one that was holding the medical tools, wore bright white. The pink and blue nurses were holding something down as the white nurse operated it, cutting it, making the same wet noises the studio did.

The camera shook, possibly creating a noise in universe as all three of the nurses looked over at the camera. Each one’s expressions were cold, black liquid had seemingly sprayed over them multiple times, leaving a strange black mist on each of their clothing. The black and blue nurses parted, revealing that which was on the operating table.

It was a mannequin, dressed up to look exactly like Priscilla, blackish purple hair and all. It had no face yet seemed to be staring up at the operating lights. Somehow, despite never living, it seemed well and truly dead from the multiple cuts and incisions that were on the mannequin body. The pink and blue nurse both tilted their heads as if questioning the camera. For a moment, everything was frozen. The camera slowly panning towards the left to reveal a grungy mirror. Many audience members were shocked to see it was actually Priscilla, or to be more accurate, a woman wo looked very much like Priscilla, holding the camera before the screen turned black. While it was too quick, many audience members could have sworn they saw the nurses gloved hands in the corner before the screen went dark, rushing towards Priscilla.

Suddenly, as the lights returned, the Nurse in white was standing in the center of the ring, a long white lab coat wrapped around her body as she stared nonchalantly at the screen. She had at some point walked out without a single person noticing and watched the video along with the audience. Now, she simply walked over towards her corner, and leaned up against it, passively waiting for her opponent to arrive, and perhaps even give the Nurse a review of her video. A hidden smile laid underneath the medical mask that belonged to Juno, the White Nurse.

Priscilla was getting ready for her match tonight. Clad in her one-piece wrestling outfit, she was eager to jump into the ring in order to claim a win for herself after losing a few times in a row. But tonight would be different. Tonight, she would win this match, and she would make sure that she would be the one to leave the ring with head held high.

But, as she waited at backstage, watching a television set to see her opponent's entrance, she frowned when there was a video being played. Thinking that this had to be some kind of gimmick that her opponent was playing, she would continue watching. But, when the video started displaying the orphanage that she managed, she had to restrain herself from gasping out in shock.

She continued watching whatever this was, and there was a scowl on her face as she looked at the grotesque display. She was tempted to reach her phone and call the orphanage, but then, she thought that this had to be some kind of mind game played by her opponent. She knew that this had to be some kind of provocation from her opponent, and she would not let herself fall to that.

Thinking that she had seen enough, Priscilla refused to watch the rest of this as she prepared herself for her entrance. Once everything was over, it's her turn to make her entrance. Her music, Rage Awakened, was played, and she stepped out, sporting a scowl on her face. Her eyes were focused on the lone figure in the ring as she marched down the ramp, heading over to the ring.

Priscilla Haynes:

Once she reached the ring, she took off her cape, wearing only her one-piece outfit before she entered the ring, eyes still focused on her opponent, Juno Sawyer. She didn't know her intention, but she would show it to her that whatever she showed earlier wouldn't affect her in any sort of way.

Juno seemed to wait patiently in her corner, her latex covered hands buried deep in her lab coat’s pockets as she awaited the arrival of tonight’s opponent. She would not need to wait long, as Priscilla’s entrance music began to play loud and clear, the tune clearing away the dark atmosphere that Juno’s video had created. The icicles that passed for Juno’s eyes watched each step that the majestic Pricilla took. Even with the scowl on her face, it could not hide her natural beauty, her face alone was like a statue that had been worked on for years with only love and care.

Sadly, the nurse did not see the reaction she was looking for. There was anger in the noble woman’s eyes, certainly, but not the amount she had expected. Perhaps her video was a bit too over the top to be taken seriously? That or her foe did not watch the entire thing, which might have been a shame if Juno did not have an entire crowd watch it along with her. She would just have to settle with their expressions of horror and disgust.

It was only until Pricilla removed her cape that Juno realized that she had not taken her eyes off the nurse the entire time she walked down that ramp and continued to watch her as she climbed into the ring. Juno simply gave back a cold look, moving one of her gloved hands out of her pocket to give her a quick wave.

Rather than stay in her corner, Juno approached the center of the ring, stopping a few feet away from her opponent’s post.

“Ms. Haynes, a pleasure to finally meet you in person.” The tone was freezing cold and lacked any of the warmth those words usually carried, “Now then, please don’t look at me like that. Your face might stick after all.” Juno reached into her lab coat and pulled out a clipboard, flipping through it like a doctor reviewing a patients file, “It seems you have been on something of a losing streak. What a shame to see someone as noble as yourself be brought down to the dirt by mere dogs, is it not?” Juno’s cold blue eyes went from the paper to Pricilla’s own colorless grey. Her mask made it difficult to read what the nurse might be thinking or planning as her icy stare pierced through her opponent.

“It makes one wonder if you might not be cut out for this type of business after all.”

Priscilla was preparing herself for her upcoming fight against this woman, who seemed keen to play a mind game with her. She didn't know what Juno had in her mind, but whatever that was, she wouldn't allow it to get the better of her. She refused to watch the entirety of the video, knowing that her opponent's intention was for her to watch it all. At the very least, she took comfort of the fact that Juno didn't get what she wanted.

But then, Juno stepped away from her corner, approaching the center of the ring and started speaking. Her tone was as cold as ice and Priscilla had to remind herself to not be affected by the words that she spouted. Still, she had to hold herself back from flinching upon having her loss streak being mentioned. Once Juno was done, Priscilla closed her eyes before she reopened them, focusing them on her, showing a fearless expression.

"Are you done? If you're thinking that your childish mind game can affect me in any way, then you are sorely mistaken..." Priscilla said, stepping away from her post, focusing her sharp gaze at the woman before her. She was determined to emerge as the winner in this match, and no amount of mind game could change that. "If anything, whatever stunt you had done earlier convinced me that I should win this match, no matter what..." she said confidently, her eyes meeting Juno's.

“Hmm…?” The blue haired nurse tilted her head quizzically as the Wild Rose approached from her corner. Pricilla’s sharp gaze seem to cut through the blizzard that raged in Juno’s eyes, exuding confidence in her voice and posture as she spoke of her new-found determination to win this match thanks to Juno’s video. The Nurse seem to stand in silence, lightly tapping her finger against the clipboard she clung to tightly while the Wild Rose spoke.

“I see.” Juno finally broke eye contact to look back at the papers on her clipboard, her tone becoming quiet, yet mocking, like a gambler holding all the cards and was about to deal the final hand, “So, little Pricilla needs a full video dedicated to her in order for her to try and win? Tsk tsk tsk…how very greedy of you.” The eyes that looked back at Pricilla still seemed to be made of ice for all the care that seemed to be in them, but it was clear Juno was smiling underneath that medical mask of hers.  “I would think one who once had so very little, who grew up sad and alone until someone came and decided to share with you what they had, would be more appreciative when someone made something for you. Of course, I failed to recognize that maybe daddy shared a little too much with you…perhaps his sweet little tot got showered with a bit too much sweet stuff, and became spoiled as a result?”

The nurse’s analysis of Pricilla was meant to dig at her, to crawl underneath her skin and see what makes her tick. Juno cared very little about how far she had to go to get an emotional result, but for now she simply tucked the clipboard into her lab coat’s pocket, then removed the lab jacket entirely, revealing her own one piece costume.

Tossing the long white cloth aside, Juno began to adjust her gloves, making sure they fit snug enough to insure no problems would occur. “Now then, shall we start the procedure? Or have you any other witless proclamations you wish to make?”

Priscilla had to bite her tongue to prevent herself from coming up with a retort. She knew what her opponent wanted from her, and she would not entertain her with such a thing as she wanted to focus on winning this match. Still, Juno seemed to have succeeded in rattling her, which made it difficult for her to focus on the match.

They had wasted so much time with her mind game, so when Juno prepared herself for the match, Priscilla was relieved. "No. Let's get this over with... I've had enough with this farce..." she said as she would prepare herself for the match. The referee would make sure that both wrestlers were ready for this before she called for the bell, starting the match between Priscilla and Juno.

Keeping her eyes fixed on Juno, Priscilla brought her arms up, keeping her distance from her. She didn't know what her opponent had in her mind, but she was certain that whatever she was planning to do, she would make sure that she would not succeed. She would show her that her mind game was useless against her.

A farce. Of course that would be what her high-class, primpy little opponent would think of this as, the fool too far up her high horse to take Juno seriously. Still, the nurse seemed to have shaken her, but even Juno could see that she had pushed a few of Pricilla’s buttons and she was trying her best not to let it show.

Juno let her foe move first, the nurse often reacting towards a foes movement rather than initiating her own. Much like a game of chess, the Nurse would view her opponents’ style, get a feel for how they preferred to move and operate, and build counter measures accordingly. Alas, this was only the beginning of the match, and despite how hard Juno had tried to provoke her into making the first move, Pricilla simply watched Juno with her arms ready.

An annoyed “Tsk” hissed through Juno’s teeth as she was forced to be the white army in this game of chess, and she would have to make the first move if any progress was made. Stepping forward very slowly at first, Juno surprised everyone by shooting forward as quick as an arrow let loose from its bow. She came at Pricilla incredibly fast, all without so much as changing her expression, and just as she was upon her, Juno dropped down, planting her hands on the floor as she swung her leg up in an attempt to smash her heel against her opponent’s face. Juno did not want to be taken lightly, and was more than willing to use a devastating attack right out of the gate to get her point across.

In reality, Priscilla was quite shaken by everything that Juno had done to her, but she maintained her poise and calm, knowing that losing her cool was something that her opponent truly wanted from her. She didn't know why Juno did such a thing in the first place, considering that she didn't even know her before. Perhaps she just liked hurting people like that. And Priscilla would not let herself be intimidated by such a person.

But, as soon as the match began, Juno suddenly closed the distance between the two of them, which caught her off-guard. Then, Juno dropped down, planting her hands on the mat, all while not changing her expression at all. She swung up her leg and delivered a heel smash right into Priscilla's face, and Priscilla could barely move back to lessen the blow, though Juno still managed to hit her with her heel.

"Hrgh!!" Grimacing as she covered her face after being hit, she would try to take a few steps back, hoping to regain her bearing so that she could try to come up with something. From what she could see, her opponent was certainly wasn't one to be underestimated. Her underhanded method to get to her nerves might make Priscilla think that she was nothing but a cowardly weakling, but from that attack alone, she was convinced that Juno was certainly not a weakling.

Juno felt her heel smack against the side of Pricilla’ pretty face, causing her to grunt out of pain. The blow was not as serious as the nurse would have liked, but that was of little consequence for what she had planned. The momentum from her kick carried her foot all the way back to the floor, making it easy to get back up on her two legs quickly as Pricilla retreated, trying to come up with a counter attack.

Juno’s maneuvers focused primarily on submissions and speedy attack. Pricilla, in her confusion, was leaving herself as wide open as she could be. A prime target for further attack, and an opportunity Juno would not let pass her by. She may have never met Pricilla before, but that mattered little to the nurse. Pricilla was the opponent for the night, and her job was to take her down. So far, Juno suspected it would be an easy task to accomplish.

Juno pushed her advantage, slamming Pricilla’s defense with heard palm strikes and knee attacks to the midsection. It appeared the nurse had little interest in doing anything other than beating her foe down to the ground, all with her blue thousand-yard stare the seemed to look through Priscila, as if she was nothing at all. At the end of her barrage, Juno pulled her arm back far, ready to fire a strong strike aimed right at Priscila’s stomach.

Priscilla was trying to distance herself from Juno, looking to give herself a bit of a room to recover from the heel strike to the face, but her opponent was relentless as she pursued after her, delivering a series of palm strikes and knee attacks to her midsection, which elicited groans of pain from the second-generation wrestler. And her mind was a little jumbled from earlier, making it hard for her to defend herself against Juno's relentless attacks.

"Gaughh!!" And the forearm strike to her stomach managed to knock some wind out of her lungs, leaving her gasping for air. She dropped onto her knees, cradling her midsection. She didn't know why she couldn't defend herself properly, though she suspected that Juno's mind game from earlier might have affected her judgment. She focused on her recovery, but now that she was on her knees, there wasn't much she could do at this point, and she hoped that she could avoid whatever Juno would throw at her next.
