Hye Choi-Jeong Vs. Artemis Michelle Armstrong - Natural Disaster Imminent

Being slammed down by the powerful Artemis was no joke, doubtful many others could handle that than Hye. Taking the brunt of Artemis might, she was currently not in the state were she could easily fight back at the moment. As such she soon felt those arms of the mighty Artemis on her again as she would feel herself being rolled over onto her front.

That rear of Artemis soon came down and straddled her back, pressing her down against the mat. As she would feel her chin being grabbed by her foe and she was pulled up into a painful camel clutch. Quickly the pain started to set in as she was wrenched backwards. Wincing as her hands would move up and try and grab a hold of Artemis hands, trying to dig her fingers in under those palms and start to try and force them off of her.

She knew this wasn't going to be easy, but she had to keep working and try to keep struggling her way out of the hold! Trying to fight out of the painful submission before Artemis managed to get in too much damage on her.

Submissions weren’t normally in Artemis’ wheelhouse, but she’d brushed up on her fair share of the classics, the ones that were easier to pull off at least. All of it came from her dedication to method acting. Anything to make it look authentic. There was usually a bit more skill involved, a way to work the chin just right to deal with more experienced opponents, but that didn’t matter in her case. Anyone that got caught between her cannons was pretty much done.

Except for Hye, evidently. She was the stubborn sort, one of many she was coming across with surprisingly regularity ever since she joined AFW. The Korean didn’t just lay down and accept her fate. Her hands came up and attempted to pry away at Artemis’ claws. Didn’t go anywhere, of course, but ‘A’ for effort. It was actually pretty cute, in a way.

Artemis leaned back, pumping more energy into the clutch with a light smirk on her lips. “I like your spirit, Blue. Seriously. Reminds me of, well, me. Lady Janis, Knight of the Pillar~. She was the do or die type, too. Except, let’s be honest about this…” The former actress leaned into the hold, unclamping the camel clutch for a moment and letting the Korean’s head fall limply. It was just long enough for Artemis to work an arm around her neck and reel it back in a single-arm chokehold. “...you don’t really have a choice, huh?"

The current position that Hye was in was not a great one, the slightly bigger woman was on top of her, and had already started to work her over....though the struggles of the blue haired powerhouse was starting to win out over the camel clutch of Artemis....she just needed a little more time to break free.

Though of course the blond wasn't going to give the blunette the time that she needed. Instead she was quick to taunt, or rather boast a bit as she begun to change up her hold. Her head fell limp for only a moment as then the strong arm of Artemis came up in under her chin and wrapped around her neck, locking the Korean up into a single-arm choke hold!

Gritting her teeth as she felt the power of that arm, it started to tighten around her neck....knowing she had to fight her way out of it this hold. Hye would place her hands down against the canvas, pushing herself up so she was on all fours and then with a display of the Tsunami's fearsome might, she would push up even more!

Rising up to her feet, carrying the actress up as she rose to her feet. She'd try and reach back and wrap the legs of Artemis up, to give the woman a piggy back ride! Taking to a run towards the far off corner! Hye would charge straight a head and then at the final moment she would jump and turn herself around. Trying to make it so Artemis back was the first to hit the corner and would be crushed by the weight and momentum of Hye's body!

“Oh no, go ahead. Keep gassing yourself. Not making my job easier or anything.”

Artemis wouldn’t say she was expecting Hye to just tap out from one arm, but the American liked to keep her goals ambitious. To the Korean giant’s credit, she was a real fighter. Artemis may as well have been choking out a stone statue for all Hye was giving her. Could appreciate a good pair of guts, but that wasn’t going to keep her from a long, well-earned sleep.

“Maybe if we add a little press-wha?!”

Being taken off the ground was still a frighteningly new experience for Artemis and it didn’t seem like it was going to be getting any easier anytime soon. Hye lifted her up with the kind of strength that seemed to surpass “Olympian” and leaped straight into “Herculean”, handling the heavyweight actress with an impressive display of effort. The round of applause and wave of cheers that came their way was swiftly drowned out by Hye’s stomping feet and the clap of the turnbuckles that came not a moment after her leap and turn. Artemis dropped to the floor with her back to the turnbuckle, trying to regain the air that had been punched out of her.

Hye pulled away from the corner after she had driven Artemis strong frame into the turnbuckle, she huffed a bit as she turned around and looked at the woman who was still trying to regain the air that had been knocked out of her lugns.

The crowd was currently busy cheering for the display of might from the blue haired woman. She nodded her head to the woman that was currently on her ass. She had to admit that Artemis was strong, a fitting first opponent here in Friction.

Hye would aim to reach for Artemis arm, looking to take a hold of it and yank the woman up onto her feet, leaning down she would try and pull the blond woman onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry. When she was up, the Korean would take a few steps away from the corner, looking to throw opponent down with a simple but hopefully effective Fireman's carry slam!

Didn’t think that would happen in a million years. She was thinking at least another million or so.

Could you really blame her, though? The only things Artemis was used to getting lifted up by nowadays were high-tension wires and hydraulic lifts. Wasn’t that long that the idea of someone around set trying to push her a step back, let alone lift her foot off the floor, would have got nothing but gut-wrenching laughs all over the place. Now here she was. Reeling in the corner after getting an unwanted piggyback ride against the toughest woman she’d ever met in her life.

How times change, huh?

True to the battle-hardened warrior that Aretmis had made her out to be, Hye wasn’t content to let the former actress recover. Not while there was an advantage to seize. A normal person probably would have gone with something simple but effective to keep the American giant pinned down. A hard uppercut to the jaw. A good kick to the gut.

Not this Korean. She went for the whole shebang. Only a moment had passed before Artemis found herself lifted over the bluenette’s shoulders. The actress wasn’t a professional wrestling aficionado in any sense of the word, but even she could see what Hye was going for here. That didn’t mean she was in any position to stop it and not a second later was all of her weight thrown down back-first into the canvas, forcing the ring to quake and shift. Artemis coughed the air from her lungs and arched her back from the floor. Not a pretty look, for sure.

Artemis with not a very light opponent to carry around, it was doubtful that many people in Friction could boss her around with strength alone, though it appeared as if Hye was one of them. The large Korean was now in charge, her muscular frame flexing as she hauled the American Actress over her shoulder and set the blond up, before bringing her down harshly so down onto the canvas!

The slam made the ring quake, the ropes jumped and shook and the crowd was left at a gasp from the display of power from the cool blue haired fighter. She would shake her head a bit, bringing her right hand onto her neck and stretch it a bit.

Reaching down for Artemis, Hye would try and wrap her arms around the woman's waist and hug her from behind as she stood leaning forward. Bending her knees a bit to make use of her legs to try and deadlift the mighty woman up off of the canvas and then swing her backwards! Trying to throw Artemis down with a mighty German Suplex!

Yup. This sucked about as much as Artemis was making it out to be. She couldn’t even really recall how things got to this point. Things had started well enough, a nice and even match between someone she’d have to respect as an equally formidable woman at one point or another. But now it just seemed like there was no end to the pain she could dish out in spite of what the Korean had just been through.

Her chance to turn that around was now. That little trick was a double-edged sword, though. Hye had to take a lot out of herself to keep up that bit of showboating. Artemis groaned as she rolled onto her stomach. In a second she could get back up and finally start taking it to this blue-haired prima donna while she was still gassed. No point in wasting the advantage she’d so helpfully given to-

“What?” Artemis mouth moved without her mind. There was no point in consulting it. She couldn’t make heads or tails of what was going on until she was already halfway in the air. That’s when she noticed the hands wrapped around her waist and the familiar scent of mint and raw determination that seemed to spring from the blue and yellow tigress she’d somehow gotten paired with. “Ohcomeon where’s your off swi-?!”

Artemis hit the canvas with an increasing sense of familiarity. The deadlift left her spread eagle and glassy in the eyes. If someone looked close enough, they could probably see the wires flying loose inside her cranium.

The German suplex hammered the shoulders and neck of Artemis down into the canvas with a loud boom, the crowd falling silent from the impressive display of strength once more, a second or two after the slam had happened and they saw that both combatants seemed fine, there hadn't been and explosion or anything, just a loud as hell slam as the heavy frame of Artemis was slammed into the canvas. The crowd however, responded to that explosive slam, with an explosive roar!

Hye released Artemis rather quickly and dropped onto her back, panting out for a second or so as Artemis body slumped down and went eagle spread. Hye would push up after which, to a seated position. She would look over her shoulder at the impressive frame of Artemis, splayed out and ripe for the taking.

Nodding coldly, Hye would move up to her feet, stepping over the downed body or Artemis and tried to get her over onto her back. Facing the legs of the mighty woman, she would start to try and collect those strong muscular legs of the blond, seeking to wrap them up firmly and trap her opponent into a firm Texas Cloverleaf hold, folding those legs up and locking her arms in with them, she'd lean back and place her rear down on Artemis shoulder blades, trying to put an intense strain on the back of the actress while trying to rest and reset after those two heavy showings of power.

Yeah, her back seen better days.

Artemis had her fair share of accidents on set. Who didn’t? Equipment was only ever as good as the tech team in charge of them. Wires snapped, restraints gave, technicians missed their cues. Think the worst fall she’d ever took was a ten-foot drop from some makeshift scaffolding, broke the impact on some bags of flour being moved around. Saved her spine even if it delayed production for a few weeks. She didn’t think she could feel pain worse than that in one area before.

Really said something about Hye’s prowess that she was able to bring those impressions back with a few flashy moves. Hell, it may have been even worse. Artemis could just about summon the effort to wiggle around and assess the damage. Her mind was still a fog, the slightest twitch set off a fire along her ridges. Battling with the Korean’s heavy body in this state would be nothing short of Herculean if she couldn’t recover. She was starting to see the strategy here, but it didn’t mean much if she couldn’t act on it.

Hye seemed to be thinking along the same lines. Artemis went to roll over onto her stomach and push herself up until she noticed her opponent doing that for her. Far from a gesture of good will, her mighty legs were seized out from under her and wrapped up between Hye’s arms. It felt like she was going for a figure-four or something. Right up until she leaned back. The experience was nothing short of pure, blistering Hell on the American’s already worn back. Her fist pounded into the canvas while the other clawed at the surface. The ropes were only a few feet away, but with Hye’s weight pinning her down they may as well have been on the other end of a football field. All she could do was cry out in pain and ride out the storm until she could make her break.
