This felt like a fair first outing here in AFW. The stoic blue haired woman stood at the Gorilla Position, arms crossed under her generous rack, as her eyes remained closed. Dressed and ready fro action tonight as she would perform her first match here in the squared circle of Friction. A first outing in the company and the show that she had been assigned to. To the Korean woman she didn't exactly think much off where she would be stationed, Friction or Tension, it didn't matter to her. She was here because Wrestling was what she did, it was her path in life and she had decided to follow it with all her heart and soul. Walking the path that she chose for herself.

The blue haired woman had a few eyes upon her from the stage hands, she was big, powerful looking but still a cool mysterious beauty somehow, her clam demeanor no doubt putting some of them in a light trance. Of course they were still at work, and had shortly enough set everything up for her to make her entrance.  When her music hits its cue, Hye stepped out onto the ramp to a mild cheer of the crowd. After all, she wasn't exactly famous or well known here in Japan. Though perhaps that would change soon enough, no her cheers came from her looks and of course just from the overly enthusiastic Friction crowd. They had surely seen a fair share of great matches tonight already.

Walking down towards the ring, as her long flowing mane of blue hair followed behind her, the powerful looking woman climbed up into the ring with little theatrics and got into her corner. She didn't have a whole lot of flare to her, and she simply stood in the corner with her hands resting on her hips, blue eyes looking out over the crowd and then next towards the ramp to see what kind of opponent she would be facing tonight.

Artemis wasn’t exactly on what people would call a hot streak through her time in AFW.

Things hadn’t started out that way, of course. Her debut had been a pretty strong showing, in no small part thanks to Petra and her crazy, sensual aura that still rattled Artemis’ brain to this day. It was a good match, one between bigger women that Japan didn’t quite get to see enough of before their promotion went international. It had a lot of back-and-forth, a good dose of sexual content, sold plenty of tickets, and got the former actress’ name around enough to secure some spots on prime time later on.

Now, though, as she started working her way up the middle rung, battling out people with a lot more mileage on her, the problems started spelling themselves out. She’d built up enough popularity. What she needed now was wins.

That was easier said than done, though. Especially from the looks of her opponent tonight. Artemis watched her from the TV set up in the green room, keeping an eye on it as she finished sprucing up her hair. Big, tough, serious. Artemis wasn’t sure if she even saw her mouth move at all as the Korean made her way down the ramp, settling into the ring with absolutely zero fanfare. Even Trinity, sadistic bitch that she was, at least had a bit of excitement for the fight ahead of her. Hye looked like a woman on a mission, looking forward only with the resolve to see it through to the end.

Sounded like she could act in one of her movies.

Artemis had a chuckle at the thought then went back to her hair. This was going to be a pretty serious competitor, one that looked not too far off in terms of strength. An Armstrong always had an upper hand in that regard, but how wide that margin tended to be was a fickle thing. She stayed confident in body and mind, nonetheless. If she just played to her strengths, stayed serious, it wouldn’t be hard to come out of this with the gold. Yeah, she had this. Throwing herself a pearly white smile, she turned and stepped out the door.

Not a minute later did the operatic theme of the American giantess begin to fill the arena. From its steady climb, an array of stage lights flashed and slowly canted up the ramp, just in time for Artemis to walk out with a confident strut. She placed on fist to her hip and shot another to the sky, giving the place a good look around before making her way down the ramp towards the ring. Once she was there, she climbed up and leaped over the top rope, coming down on two feet with a heavy thud. Partly theatrics, more just to show Hye who the bigger dog was here before walking to her corner.

Not that she wasn’t going to keep things friendly. When the official called them over, Artemis raised a hand from her side, a slight acknowledgment before putting it back at her hip.  “Hey there, Blue! Love the hair~.” She said with a healthy smirk. “After I pound you to next week, wanna show me to your stylist? It’s a nightmare trying to find a local here that can handle all this.” She ran a casual hand through her hair, freeing up the brown strands. Whether she was being genuine, flippant, maybe a bit of both was entirely up to Hye.

Judging by the wrinkles on her forehead, though, it probably wasn’t hard to guess which she was going with.

Hye would watch patiently as she awaited her opponent to make her way down towards the ring, the blue haired powerhouse would place her hands on her hips as she stepped out of her corner and started to walk towards the center of the ring, ready to greet her opponent as the referee beckoned them to meet in the center of hte squared circle.

The Korean would watch as the powerful looking blond started to speak about how she firstly loved her hair and secondly was planning on pounding her into next week. The words of Artemis brought a slight crack in the stoic Hye's expression, the right corner of her mouth lifting slightly into a half smile.

A soft exhale through her nose would follow as she remained in her stance, eyes narrowing at Artemis. " Afraid I'm the one who takes care of it myself. If you want some pointers I'm happy to help." Hye spoke as the Tsunami would then mover her ands from her waist and start to bring them up to get up into a grappling stance. " After I pound you into next week." The blue haired fighter threw back Artemis words right back at her, and in serious manner with no hint of malice or cockiness.

She would wait for the bell to ring, before she would step forward and try and lock up with the fellow giantess of a powerhouse to try and wrestle and force the actress backwards towards her corner.

Hm. Strong...mostly silent type, huh?

This was kind of a first. Artemis had figured this woman for the type from the second she saw her entrance, but this was by far the most reserved woman she’d come across in the ring. Though, on second thought, that was probably a blessing in disguise. Tonight wasn’t about theatrics, it was about getting the gold. Making marks. Having an opponent that was on the same page could only help in that.

She did have a sense of humor buried under that cool as a cat visage of hers. The rebuttal got a snicker out of Artemis, she had to admit. She didn’t have the attitude of the typical AFW up-and-comer, but she definitely had the wit. She recognized that glint in her eye too, staring at nothing but victory. This could end up being an even better match than she thought.

Artemis followed Hye into a wrestling stance, ducking low with her arms out as the bell rang out. The two giants stepped forward and clashed with another, a hefty smack pulsing out from the ring as they engaged in a lock up. Right away, Hye’s strength came to the fore, the contours in her arms and shoulders pronouncing themselves as the two engaged in a very brief back and forth. Barley a few seconds into the clash, Artemis felt herself being pushed back as Hye took one mighty step after another.

She was quick to shut that shit down, though. Her back foot stomped against the ground and, with a bit of a screech, Hye’s movement would come to a rocky stop. The former actress would look up at the Korean with a smirk, face slightly stifferend from the effort. “Good...good try, Blue. Seen better...but still. Good try.” With that, she’d redouble her efforts in this contest of strength, stepping forward and trying to return the favor by putting Hye in her corner.

Hye and Artemis seemed to be hitting it off rather well, at least for the blue haired fighter. She didn't often throw quips, but it looked as if it hit home, getting a soft chuckle from the powerful looking blond. The two titanic beauties stood ready in the center of the ring and it looked as if the match was under way.

Stepping towards one another, the two of them went in and locked up against one another. Tight and powerful muscles bulging a bit as the powerhouse began to push against each other, the initial control was in the hands of Hye, as the Korean forced her American foe backwards step by step, closer towards the corner which she had come from.

Though before she was able to force the Actress back against the turnbuckle, she was instead met with a full stop. Something that caused Hye to raise an eyebrow, Artemis then took to pushing and marching her way forward, forcing Hye to take a step back, and then another....and then another, having forced Hye back to the center of the ring, the blue clad cool beauty was forced back one more step. The Stoic wrestler though...braced her back foot against the mat, stopping Artemis advance.

" Hmm...." Hye grumbled lightly, she would take a deep breath, getting a whiff of the scent of Artemis in the process, before she would take a step forward. She began her own march, as the Tsunami planned to sweep forward, trying to force Artemis backwards yet again, gain back the ground she had just lost and hopefully bring Artemis back against the ropes as well.

Hye was a little strong.

Pretty strong.

Really strong.

Damn strong.

There were few people in the world that Artemis could say came even remotely close to matching her in terms of raw strength but Hye was making a very damn good case for the number one spot. Pushing her back wasn’t nearly as easy of a task as she’d thought it would be. That in itself was surprising, but not nearly as much as when Hye put her foot down, stopping her advance dead just a couple feet from the ropes. Just like that. Like she was putting the brakes on a train.

Artemis’ muscles flared, the contours on her arms and shoulders fully pronouncing themselves as she tried to make that last stretch. Nothing doing though. The Korean had her stumped, but what really put the icing on it all was that calm, collected look on her face. Hye was trying, Artemis could feel that much, but she did a fantastic job of not showing it. Barley even batted an eyelash against all the shared tension. She wasn’t wasting any energy, focusing entirely on her offense. Surely enough, bit by bit, the former actress found their little stalemate being broken. One step, then two, then three, before she knew it, Artemis’ back was fast approaching the ropes.

Nuh uh. That wasn’t happening. It took more than a single step this time, as Artemis planted both feet behind her, stopping the Korean powerhouse’s advance with her back only a single step from the ropes. She looked back at Hye with a slight smirk, flashing that million-dollar grin to the stone-faced woman across from her.

“Alright, Blue. Kind of, sort of, possibly getting serious about you.” Slowly raising their locked hands high above her head, Artemis would begin pushing with a downward force, attempting to use her slight height advantage to bring the Tsunami to her knees.

Hye was making head way against the beautiful Artemis Armstrong, they looked fairly even but the momentum had shifted yet again as now Hye started to push the beautiful blond back towards the ropes, getting closer and closer before she suddenly felt Artemis stop her.

The blue haired woman raised her eye brow as she did, listening to the words of the beautiful blond, as she would feel how Artemis struggled and raised their arms up high. Pushing their strong bodies more firmly up against one another.

" That so?" Hye asked in her stoic manner, as she started to feel how Artemis started to put the pressure down, however. Hye was quick to act, her wrists bending forward as she would try and force Artemis wrists backwards to get a leverage over Artemis to try and force the blond down.

“Yup…” Oh yeah, the one word answer. Hye was definitely a strong woman, she could acknowledge that much.

The thing was though, she was picking up on a bit more than that. She noticed that throughout this little back and forth, Hye didn’t once attempt to pull away. She didn’t fidget, or looking this way or that, giving any kind of hint that she was trying think her way out of this. The Korean’s eyes were looking at one thing and one thing alone: right back at Artemis.

There was a chill that came along with that look, and Artemis would be lying if she said it didn’t get her a bit more excited, but there was a bit of worry too. They’d only been grappling so far, but Hye didn’t even remotely attempt to mask her strength. That didn’t bode well for the future, once they actually tried out some moves on each other. This definitely wasn’t going to be a squash. She was going toe-to-toe with a mirror.

“Heh heh, yeah. Not bad…”

She fought back against Hye’s attempt to bend her wrists back, flexing the muscles along her forearms. She stepped forward, raising their clasped hands high above their heads. For the moment, she just wanted to keep that power of her’s to a minimum, but there was a subtle advantage to that she didn’t notice until she actually did it. She was closer to Hye.

She smirked as her face neared the Korean beauty’s, leaning in just close enough for her to smell her breath. “How about a good luck kiss? Think you're gonna need it.” She offered with a chuckle.

The two of them had their arms raised high up, their frames pushing right against each other so tightly that their well trained abs were grinding against each other. The blue haired woman's eyebrow would raise at Artemis suggestion.

She would take a deep breath and in the process get a good deal of the scent of the blond beauty. She would then release a soft chuckle. She would push her bust further against Artemis as she would attempt to slip her right leg in between the actress's legs. Looking to slide her leg behind Artemis dominant leg and then try and sweep it out from the blond woman.

Looking to take her off her feet and throw her down onto her back as this pushing would get them nowhere.

Artemis was just kind of joking when she offered the kiss. It just felt appropriate, something to do in good fun. Though it wasn’t like she wouldn’t have liked it if Hye actually took the perfectly good offer in front of her. The Korean was a lot of things, "ugly" definitely wasn't one of them.

At least Hye had a sense of humor about it. She’d hung around these cool-as-ice types aplenty when she tried branching out from adventure films into more drama and romance. Almost always stick in the mud. Took the profession they were in too seriously, didn’t know how to have fun with things. It was a good sign, then, when she heard that chuckle the Korean giant let out.

Though she was taking it in good fun, that didn’t mean she was letting her head out of the game. Artemis was still standing there, even starting to pucker her lips with the occasional wiggle of her eyebrows, when her leg was suddenly taken out from under her. “Whoa!” She fell to the ground with a hard crash, shaking the ropes as she laid on her back.

All’s fair and love in war, right?
