SS 18 Hardcore Title: Silver Ace (c) vs Jessica Wright (Monsters Ball Match)

As the pool cue sliced through the dirty Roman air, Jessica thought she heard a whistle. Perhaps it was her imagination, but Jessica really liked the feeling that it was the sheer force that she could bring to bear as it sailed down to Ace's body. Finally the weapon collided with Ace's back, splintering into two with the raw intensity that Jessica exerted upon it. The sound of the blow was undeniable, the same way the whistle wasn't. Either way, Jessica felt she was in pole position now, and she was going to use that to the utmost.

Jessica immediately grabbed Ace's hair, and in a few swift motions would have the woman up and headed to the ropes. The Irish whip was a quick one, but Jessica was even quicker in her pursuit of the woman. As soon as Ace hit the ropes, Jessica would be there with an arm outstretched and a shoulder going forward to clothesline the woman. Jessica was hoping to nail the woman so hard she went over the ropes, but as per usual she was happy with any violence that she got.

The pool cue shattered on impact, leaving small splinters in the skin of Ace's lower back, not that she had any time to register them, quickly hauled up and tossed towards the ropes with an irish whip.

Ace's natural instinct was to turn her body as she neared the ropes, rapidly planning to use the rebound as a chance to counter attack...only to see a close up of Jessica filling her vision a split second before the woman's arm struck her chest while she was hitting the ropes, the strength of the blow, combined with her own momentum, causing the Hardcore Champ to raise off her feet, flipping backwards over the top ropes, her body close enough to the ring apron that her face smacked against it before she hit the ground in a heap!

Ace was turning around. That was clever. The pool cue was likely to hurt, but this was the Hardcore Champ that we were talking about. That wasn't going to keep her down, not for long. So the best shot he had at turning this thing around was coming off of the ropes with a vengeance. Unfortunately, Jessica was one step ahead, as evinced by the fact that Ace was now a heap on the floor, and Jessica was standing upright. Not for long though, as she hopped over the ropes to the curtain.

If she were 30 pounds lighter, she would try some spinny flippy bullshit that would wow everyone on TV. But she wasn't. She was Jessica Wright, and when she came down, she was going to come down hard. Leaping off of the ring, she extended two feet down at her opponent. It would be nice if they landed somewhere that was vital, but really all she wanted to hit was center mass. When you came with as much power as Jessica did, it was not really a question of aiming.

The few splinters that had stayed on her back had, upon her impact with the ground, sunk into her skin, though Ace was too preoccupied with smacking onto the floor to actually notice. Her face smacking into the ring apron during her fall was enough to make her not feel anything for a few moments, except a throbbing her in head, and a dull flame in her back. This was bad, she had made a crucial mistake in underestimating Jessica Wright, and if she didn't get things back on track, she was in for a world of hurt!

As if to prove her inner thoughts correct, the first image she saw when she blinked her vision clear, was Jessica herself, standing on the ring apron, before she leaped up into the air!

Desperate, Silver Ace quickly rolled away, from the middle of the floor to underneath the ring, just barely avoiding getting crushed by the woman's powerful double stomp attack. Once under the ring, which had been stocked and set up specifically for this Monsters Ball match, Ace began grabbing and searching for something, anything, that would help her turn the tide of battle in her favor!

Jessica's purple eyes were focused on Ace the whole time. There was movement. There was life. It was Jessica's whole goal to crush those things, and Ace was lively enough that she was not going to take this lying down. Jessica's feet collided with the sand as opposed to Ace's supple flesh. The harsh landing caused Jessica to briefly cry out, and wobble as she took a step forward. She fell to her knees, dirtying her body before she rose up once more, and wheeled around.

Her legs were not as sturdy as they had once been, but Jessica was standing tall. There was a grimace on her face now. She thought she had been building up to something greater, but dull ache in her legs informed her that she was going to have to try all the more to get the win and the belt that she had so coveted.

The only problem was, she did not know where Ace had scurried off to. The movement of the ring's flap informed her that Ace was under there, surely getting a weapon of some kind. Jessica crouched into her wrestling stance. When Ace popped up, Jessica was going to have to be ready for her.

Ace was quick to pop up again, rolling back out from under the ring, getting dirt all over her clean wrestling uniform...but she didn't come out along, bringing along with her a certain heavy red item with a black hose...which she quickly pointed at Jessica.

"Cool it!"

She yelled, before squeezing the handle on the fire extinguisher, trying to spray Jessica in the face and chest with its foamy foam!

Jessica was tense. That much was obvious. She was looking for any sign of life coming from under the apron, any sign of danger that would be coming her way. Her boot dug into the sand. The Violent Violet was a cannon ready to go off, and all she needed was a wayward spark to set herself in motion. When Ace popped out from under the apron, she had something that looked red and awfully solid in her hands. The Violent Violet brought her hands in front of her face. Whatever she had bore a nozzle. She did not know what she was going to be shot with, but she was pretty sure that it was going to hurt.

Then came a cooling foam. Jessica was looking for a spark to light her off, and Ace was hitting her with the produce of a fire extinguisher. She counted herself lucky to have gotten her hands up in time, otherwise that nasty chemical additive would have gotten in her mouth. The foam was coating just about everything else, and she turned her head away. Sure, it didn't hurt, but it was pretty embarrassing.

And it pissed Jessica right the fuck off. She wiped the foam from her face, and glared at Ace with her purple eyes. She was made to look ridiculous. If that was not enough, which it was, Ace felt the need to throw in that stupid little one liner. Those two combined could not go unpunished. She barreled forward at her opponent, and leveled a punch that unleashed her frustration as she approached Ace.

That...was a terrible pun. Valley would chastise her about that later.

Speaking of terrible things, the look Jessica gave Silver Ace right then, as she smeared the foam off of her face, was one of pure, terrible, rage, sending a shiver down the Hardcore Champions back as she got to her feet. It actually froze her in place, unable to back away from those narrowed eyes, practically able to feel the hatred coming from them.

Then Jessica stepped in, and threw her arm out for a punch. That would have been scary, but Ace's mind, quick as it was, told her what to do, the champion hoisting up the red tank in her hand, using it to block Jessica's punch!

Jessica was fury personified. As she approached her opponent, there was foam both on her body and around her mouth. She moved with little doubt and less caution. The Violent Violet was not going to stop for anything, come hell and high water, and that was her downfall. She launched the punch forward, not realizing that Ace could react to it. By the time she had committed, it was far too late to change the trajectory.

Clang. The sound of Jessica's fist slamming against the fire extinguisher was unmistakable. Jessica's whole fist lit up with pain, and immediately she jumped back and waved it around. Jessica had punched a lot of people right in their skulls, but she had never quite felt anything like that.

It was a sudden thing, holding up and hiding behind the shiny red tank. For a different wrestler, with a slower reaction time, or had been fighting a more calm and reserved opponent, such a tactic would never have worked.

But luck was something that was usually on her side, and here, it paid off well. The sound of Jessica's fist smashing into the tank was cringe-worthy, making Ace, and the crowd, wince as the challenger hopped back. But Ace was quick to follow up, moving in and smashing the tank into Jessica's stomach!
