Trinity vs Tina: A Lesson In Wrestling

Cage Match: Victory by being the first to escape the cage.

Trinity was finally starting to get used to Japan. She had crossed the hurdle of having her first match against Liberty. It was an experience to be sure. Her body had ached for days and it took awhile for the bruises to disappear. Two weeks after the match Trinity got confirmation of her second match, and she had mixed feelings. Unlike the previous match, she had been given the name of her opponent beforehand.

It had been decided that Trinity would face off against Tina Armstrong. The Tina Armstrong. Well this escalated quickly. Trinity never really kept an eye on the wrestling world, but even she had seen and watched Tina in action. This had created a problem. Trinity knew what this blonde American was capable of. While Trinity was confident she could use her muscle to smash the former model into the ground, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was about to walk into a trap. Tina was famous for being an all-rounder, the sorta woman who knew something about everything. Trinity on the other hand was the mistress of brawling, but had no experience elsewhere. Could she survive against her?

Fight night had came and doubt was still gnawing at her mind. Minutes away from the match and the super confident Trinity that came out against Liberty, had now been replaced with a conflicted mess. Backstage Trinity was finishing her attire, securing the laces on her trainers. She then proceeded to make her way to the ramp entrance. This match was a cage match. All you had to do was escape. Which meant climbing. Something Trinity was not a massive fan of.

It was too late for any more doubts as soon her theme would start playing. Trinity would walk out onto the ramp with her hands in the air and a massive smile. Her theme always seemed to pump her up. The beats pumped adrenaline through her body and those doubts of hers melted away. Above the ring she could see the cage hanging there.

“Making her way to the ring..” The announcer started “... All the way from Las Vegas, USA, weighing 218lbs and standing at 6’1” tall, it’s Trinity!” As she finished announcing, Trinity raised her hands again, garnering a cheer from the crowd. Trinity finally reached the ring and was finally pumped. Climbing up the steel steps she waved once more and then pulled the ropes apart and climbed inside the ring. She ran around the edge, pumping up the crowd. She eventually settled into the corner and would do a few stretches while she waited for her opponent to arrive, the legendary Tina Armstrong… this was going to be interesting.

It had been quite a while since Tina had gotten a full match in the AFW arena and she was really looking forward to it, even if it did come with the inevitability of the blonde getting crushed between a cage and a hard body. She'd spent her time in Japan keeping her hand in the wrestling business but rarely committing the way she had in the past. Most of her time in AFW the blonde had spent trying to train up some of the rookies, and she could see this as a part of that in a way. Another big woman charging in thinking that a strong right hand was all she needed to rule the ring. Still, she couldn't dismiss Trinity out of hand, six feet tall was six feet tall. From everything Tina had seen, Trinity was as strong as she looked and in the tight confines of a steel cage, that was a hell of a thing to have and could make up for a lot of other advantages. Still, rolling her shoulders and getting her last stretches in, it would take something special to wipe the smile off her face.

"And her opponent!" The announcer yelled over the eager crowd, already starting to get rowdy with anticipation after they had just gotten settled down after Trinity's introduction "From... the Armstrong Ranch, USA!" she continued, her voice getting progressively louder to keep herself above the now cheering crowd "Weighing in at One Hundred and thirty nine pounds! She is the American Dream Incarnate, TIIIINAA ARMSTRONG!" 

Tina emerged from the back to an orgy of noise: her own music in one ear, pyro in the other, all backed by the roar of the crowd as she waved her way down to the ring, not even bothering with the steel steps as she slid straight in and sprang right up to her feet. "Wooooo Baby!" she let out, before looking Trinity up and down "Dang... and I thought it was Texas everything was supposed to be bigger in, starting to feel like the smallest gal around."

Trinity kept a close eye on Tina as she approached. She was a bombshell indeed. She was smaller, yes, but that body was not all bone. There was some muscle there, alot of it hidden behind a layer of smooth skin. She may be smiling at Trinity, but you could see Tina was serious despite her demeanor. She was facing a rookie, but that didn't mean Trinity was getting the easy treatment.

“Ha, Texas might like to think that, but Nevada is where the biggest and best are born” She smirked. “I really don't wanna have to punch your face… it's too pretty, I don't wanna be the one responsible for ending your modeling career” Trinity laughed, feeling slightly jolly and considerably more relaxed than what she was before. “But no… I know what I am up against” She said in a more serious tone. “Not many opponents have the pleasure of saying they have beaten Tina Armstrong"

She stretched her legs as the cage finally got lowered, sealing the two in for good. Now there was only one way out. Upwards. “Since I have gotten the weight and height advantage a test of strength to start feels like cheating… and while I normally wouldn't mind that in a street fight, here it feels wrong. So how do you wanna start it?” She asked, wondering if the Texan would have any interesting ideas or if she would try and beat Trinity at her own game.

Tina chuckled at Trinity's jokes, "Girl, you could have a punch that could break a wall and you wouldn't be the third worst thing to hit my modelling career." It was good to see some of the newer wrestlers coming in with a bit of humility about themselves, a bit of reality about what they were going to come up against in AFW when so many of them would dismiss any challenger, at least publicly. Trinity seemed to know what she was in for as the cage lowered around them, trapping the two in the steel mesh structure. Still, what the brunette amazon said next gave the blonde bombshell a frown.

"Seriously, you know how good I am and you're gonna give up what you got going? This ain't sparring, if you want to put your name on the shortlist, you can't hold back at what you're good at. So bring it on!" Tina challenged, raising up her arms to try and loop over the bigger woman's shoulders, trying to pull her into a collar and elbow tie up.

Trinity had to respect Tina for going for the lock up start. Most other people would back away, knowing when they were outclassed. As Tina pulled into the lock, Trinity lowered her body to make it easier, reciprocating the lock as well so they were both tied in. Just as the both finished securing the lock, the bell rang to signal the start of the match. To start with, Trinity didn't push against Tina. She maintained enough strength to stop Tina from trying to bulldoze her, but that was all. She kept this up for a few seconds, testing to see how much power those hidden muscles had.

If Tina didn't try anything after those few seconds, Trinity would go full power, pushing against Tina and start to make her fall back. Trinity's goal as to get her against the turnbuckle, smash her back into it and break the lock with knee to the stomach. It was an ambitious plan, but if it worked, it would give Trinity control of the match. However there was a thought in the back of Trinity's mind she couldn't dismiss: If Tina agreed to the lock up, she must have an ace up her sleeve. That thought just kept eating away at her mind while in the lockup. Maybe she was overthinking it…. But it seemed plausible.

Tina may have gained some respect from Trinity but she seriously lost the initial advantage. The rookie was every bit as strong as she looked, quickly pushing the blonde veteran into the corner and driving her back into the turnbuckle pads before she could even shout out another challenge to the towering brunette. "Alright..." the Texan growled as she was arched back over the top rope, trying to look for a way to slip past Trinity but the rookie had her good and trapped in the corner, and her toned stomach was making a very tasty target.

"Ugh!" She groaned as the amazon kneed her in the gut, doubling the blonde over as she was left to gasp for breath with a definitive loss of an opening exchange. What did she find out about Trinity? She hit like a truck and could probably push one, something worth keeping in mind but not a lot to help her out.

It seemed that Tina didn't have a trick up her sleeve. Trinity hammered home with her knee. If she could keep this up there wouldn't be a Texan left to fight. “I warned you. Now I have the advantage” Maybe it was a bit early to gloat. But Tina was currently doubled over infront of her. She needed to take advantage of any opportunity to get ahead. If Tina had the chance she would do the same, and soon the shoe could be on the other foot. Trinity leaned forward and grabbed both sides of her waist “Time to learn the meaning of pain”

Trinity's lack of formal wrestling training started to become apparent, and a possible weakness had revealed itself for Tina, that could possibly be exposed. With her hands on Tina's waist, Trinity lifted her up as high as she could “Drop time!” Trinity would let go once she had finished lifting Tina upto just above her chest, letting gravity take hold and smashing her into the canvas.

"Whoa!" Was all Tina had the air to let out as she was plucked out of the corner by the towering Trinity, her legs dangling over one of the Brunette's shoulders before she was roughly left to fall down, simply dropped by the Amazon as opposed to any sort of slam. The rough move might have landed a tired or panicking opponent down on her shoulders or her neck, but the blonde was too savvy to be scared when dangled upside down and too fresh to not do anything about it. 

With a brief flick of her legs, the Blonde Bombshell kicked off of Trinity's shoulder, pushing herself around and letting her land in a crouch instead of painfully, in a perfect position to lunge forward and attempt to swing her fist into the taller woman's exposed abs.

Trinity was used to fighting brute women, rough and nasty. Women who had no finesse or skill. Their only response to anything was to throw another attack. Tina was a change of pace; an unknown. Trinity couldn't predict how Tina would react. She was a professional, a woman who had fought in both big wrestling promotions and against some of the best fighters in the world. She was surprised that Tina didn't openly Mick her for her terrible idea.

Tina might not of said anything, but her actions spoke much louder than words ever could. She landed on her feet, Trinity's drop having zero effect on the pro wrestler. The crowd cheered in enjoyment, watching Tina in her element. To make matters worse for Trinity, Tina struck out at her with a strike right into the abs. At first glance people would think that Tina would not be able to hurt such a well built woman like Trinity. But Tina had some hidden power in those arms of hers. Her fist dug deep into her midsection like a drill, pulverising her muscles. The force of the punch caused a groan to escape from Trinity's lips, her hands dropped down to protect her midsection, falling back a couple of steps in the process from the force of the punch. Trinity would shake her head, snapping her back into reality. There was only one attack that Trinity could think if, that wasn't a strike of some sort. Charging forward like a bull, she extended her arm and tried to clothesline Tina's chest, hopefully smashing her back into the turnbuckle.

Tina smiled as Trinity backed off nursing her aching mid section, the experience gap between the two was already starting to show itself as the smaller Blonde was able to counter the bigger woman's more reckless attempts at mounting an offence. Strength was one thing to have, using it to it's biggest effect was quite another and that punch was a lesson in that, packing more force than the stunned Trinity was clearly expecting.

The Vegas fighter came charging back though, wanting to keep the smaller wrestler pinned in the corner while she worked over the blonde bombshell, but Tina had the space to move now, she wasn't just going to let herself be smacked back in. Gripping the top rope firmly, she pulled herself away from the corner and under the outstretched arm that Trinity was trying to catch her with leaving the big woman with the difficulty of trying to stop herself before she got the AFW logo imprinted on her chest by the turnbuckle pads.
