Idol Showdown! Round One! (for zxn666)

Tomomi knew she had perhaps gone a bit too far. She hit Haruka with everything she had, and the little Kawaii girl had gotten knocked flying. Tomomi bit her lip in hesitation when she saw Haruka's crumpled form lying on the mat, but she quickly sprang to action. If Haruka doesn't get up, Tomomi would hook one of her legs and pin the girl down.

Haruka didn't stir even when Tomomi scooped her leg up for the decisive pin. The referee counted-

"One! Two!"

And then Tomomi would feel small, angry hands grab her ankle to yank her off Haruka, breaking the pin just before the 3 count! If she looked, she'd find Haruka's manager Masato leaning into the ring, beneath the bottom rope, holding her ankle and looking angry at her.

"You didn't have to hit her that hard!" he was yelling as he tried to drag her away with what strength he did have.

When Tomomi felt someone tugging at her, she first jerked and tried to break the grip. But then she turned around and realized that it was Haruka's manager. Tomomi sighed angrily and let go of Haruka, standing up and getting up close to Masato.

"Masato-san," she said, "If Haruka can't even take a hit like that, she has no right to even be in this fight! Please, just let me end this!"

Meanwhile, Chigusa and Megumi were getting anxious. At this rate, Tomomi was going to mess everything up. If this continues any longer, the both of them are going to have to step in.

Masato flushed as he got his own words thrown at him. He even fell back a few steps as Tomomi towered over him (with the help of the ring). Then he steeled himself, stepped back forward, and yelled back.

"She doesn't have a right to be here, period! But she is! And since she is, I'll support her all the way, like a good manager would!"

He knew his statement didn't make sense. He was gambling. Buying his ward time. Behind Tomomi, Haruka was stirring anew. And if Haruka thought Tomomi was threatening him, it might just be enough...

Tomomi's tone softened a bit when she heard Masato's protest. "That's good," she said, "It's good of you to support Haruka so whole-heartedly, but if you truly value her career, you'll let me go and end this!" She leaned over the ropes, trying to get into Masato's face. "Why can't you see that little man?" Tomomi said, "It'll be better for Haruka if you sit back and let me pin her." She didn't notice Haruka stirring behind her, being too busy arguing with Masato and trying to stop him from interfering.

Masato knew Tomomi had a point. He knew his hypocrisy for what it was.

But she had called him 'little man'.

It was the truth. Masato was tiny. He wasn't much bigger than Haruka. (For reference, Haruka was 5'0.) Some said that, outside his suit, he had a girl's body, albeit a pettanko flat-chested girl. It had gotten him hit on by guys -both straight and gay- way too many times. Not to mention the lesbian girls.

He trembled. He tried to control himself. He really did.

"Little... man?"

Masato glared daggers at Tomomi. "Who are you calling 'little'!" he yelled. "You're not much bigger than a kawaii yourself! You're one to pick a fight with me, you... you..." He found a good epithet, one Haruka had used on Tomomi. "YOU PINKY!!!"

Meaning the hair, but also the tiniest finger, mocking Tomomi's size and height...


Meanwhile, Haruka shook her head. "Ugh... can someone please get the number of the train that hit me..."

Tomomi was getting very angry at Masato now. She didn't want to get angry, but Masato was pressing her buttons with his stubbornness, and he had the nerve to call Tomomi names. Getting called pinky didn't help with Tomomi's bad mood.

She quickly slipped out between the ropes and landed right in front of Masato. Funnily enough, she was actually taller than him by about two inches. Tomomi didn't go out and try to hit him, but placed her hands on her hips, and just glared.

"You were the one who interfered!" Tomomi said, trying to keep her anger in check, "Not to mention you two idiots were the ones who crashed that press conference in the first place!" She raised her arm and pointed a finger at Masato. "So this is all your fault." She walked right up to Masato's face. "And don't call me PINKY!" she yelled, poking Masato hard in the forehead.

Masato retained enough sense to step back as Tomomi clambered out of the ring. For all he taunted Tomomi to be small, she was bigger than him by two inches. She'd beaten up Haruka -and Haruka was perfectly capable of knocking Masato out if she wanted to (and had done so, albeit accidentally, not more than once already). And Tomomi looked really angry now.

So when she advanced on him, he wisely fell back, his cheeks burning in anger and shame. Still, Tomomi's finger found his forehead, and he actually fell on his butt, knocked down by fear as much as 'brute' strength.

Ah, shit...

"You leave Masato alone!"

Haruka had been shaking her head to clear it when she spotted Tomomi advancing on her manager. That jerked her awake. "Masato-kun!" she sputtered as she dragged herself onto her feet. I have to protect Masato-kun!

So, yelling "You leave Masato alone!" Haruka would clumsily fling herself out of the ring and towards Tomomi in a reckless cross body splash!

Tomomi turned around when she heard Haruka's cry. "She's up after all that?" Tomomi thought. She turned around straight into the body splash, taking Haruka's small form right across her chest. the both of them slammed hard onto the concrete ground, with Tomomi taking more damage since she was on bottom.

"Gah, owww!" Tomomi groaned underneath Haruka. The move had come as a surprise, and it hurt her badly. But maybe Haruka would get hurt badly as well...

"Oooh..."

Haruka trembled weakly over her opponent. That hurt! She'd nailed Tomomi across the pink-haired girl's breasts, which cushioned her a bit, but she was tiny to begin with and beat up in addition. Her forearms and shins had banged upon the concrete - she couldn't feel them at all, though she thought she could still move them.

M-M-Masato-kun... is he all right?

"Haruka! Get up!"

But she couldn't, not at once, even as the referee called out the ring-out count.

"One!"
