Cool, calm, collected, and mature, Karen exemplifies confidence and competence in everything she attempts. She has quite an artistic flair, and loves to perform in front of large audiences. It is difficult to make her lose her composure and focus. However, she does have a quite silly side that she shows to people whom she is very comfortable with, or after getting very comfortable. She can get especially wild after drinking, which causes her to lose all composure and let her wild side out.

History:
Growing up in Los Angeles, California, Karen was surrounded by famous celebrities. Her father was a specialty doctor for movie stars and singers, and her mother the manager of a talent agency. From a young age, Karen became involved in performing arts, with a natural talent for dance. Her parents supported her in her endeavors, and by the time she was sixteen she was teaching at a dance studio and performing as a backup dancer in many shows. Her main interest was hip-hip dance with a heavy focus on improvisation. She made somewhat of a name for herself in LA, which got her noticed by several promoters looking for talent for a new show in Vegas. Seeing a chance to make it in the big leagues, Karen decided to try it out, and as soon as she finished high school she was on her way to Vegas.

In Vegas, she started all over again from the bottom, as a mere understudy. However, through hard work and impressing the right people at the right time, she was able to make it onto the big stage. The show she was part of was only mildly successful, and after a year it was cancelled and Karen was out of a job. She refused to go home though, sticking it out in Vegas by taking on different performance work. Never being particularly shy, she spent time as an exotic dancer and a hostess, making connections to people who could get her back into the big shows.

She had another big break after getting to know an influential Vegas promoter, who got her a role in a weekly show at the Venetian. It was exactly what Karen wanted at the time, though after performing for a few months she found the environment rather stifling. The show was heavily choreographed, and after a while it got boring to keep on dancing the same number. But she was in, which made changing to a different show much easier. Karen did this for a few years, hopping from show to show, and before long she had appearances in just about every major show in Vegas.

During her time in Vegas, she along with many of the other showgirls had gotten involved in some underground fighting leagues. It was a way for them to compete for the limited number of roles in the shows, as well as a way to settle rivalries and to blow off some steam. It was after one of those fights that she was approached by a promoter from the AFW. The opportunity was intriguing enough to her that she went for a few test matches to see what it was all about. The fight that got her hooked was against a new male talent from the Tension league, which she lost badly but enjoyed very much. She figured if the rest of her AFW experiences were like that, it would all be worth it!

Karen primarily fights defensively, using her long arms and legs to keep her opponents at bay with strikes. She does not do well off her feet and tries to keep the fight standing whenever possible. She has some experience with sexual combat (you need to be at least somewhat good to survive in Vegas), however it is not one of her strong points. Her main focus in any fight is to try stay defensive, keep the opponent away, and look for an opening to deal a finishing strike.
