"Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs Cassidy Kidd

Alaina was in the back hallways in her wrestling attire, ready to go. She had a bit of pent up anxiety after her official debut with her new tag team. Alaina knew she had to work more with Peggy, but getting the girls head back on straight was more key than anything physical. The same applied to the amazon who was about to face a new cowgirl in town. Alaina had recently added a more meditative approach to training, making sure her head was clear as a couple times in her career.... most notably the rocky first year as well as her post-entropy slump in the first half of 2017... had been more about her head not being on straight as opposed to any flaw in her training.

Now, Alaina was ready and back on track to prove she was destined for bigger, better things than even the entropy title. She was going to make a run at that Friction Title. However, right now she had business to take care of. It didn't matter that Cassidy was new to Friction. It didn't matter that Alaina had a good, solid resume in Friction. Alaina was going to treat this match like a title match, giving it her best effort.

The amazon came out as her theme played, waving to the fans and smiling. She high fived fans on both sides all the way down the ramp, stopping to show off her large, impressive figure at the base of the ramp by flexing and striking a little pinup girl pose before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. She stood tall walking around the ring with her arms out to the sides, taking in the cheers. In recent days, ever since her breakup with Bryan Daniels she had added a bit more sway to her hips, accentuating her curves with her confident strut around the ring. Alaina eventually settled into her corner, leaning back as she awaited the arrival of Cassidy Kidd!

Cassidy quietly watched the distant traffic little more than moving lights past the sea of parked cars. The back lot wasn't nearly as empty as the public parking area for the arena, though both were similarly quiet at this hour. And why shouldn't they be, everyone had gathered into cramped seats to get a good whiff of the person sitting next to them as they clapped and cheered for their favorites. Her shadowed features between the wide brim of her hat were illuminated by a dim orange glow as she took a long drag of her cigarette. She had been trying to cut down after taking up wrestling to help with her lung capacity. Japan however had been making it difficult. Without her usual brand to wind down on, she had started picking up some of the sweeter smelling flavored variety with less nicotine to ease herself out of the dirty habit, but she found herself smoking more just to get that same fix.

She leaned her head against the painted frame of the doorway, leaning between two worlds. Half of her stood in the building while the other soaked in the open air of a city that always seemed to be awake. She had kicked one leg up, holding her boot to the open emergency exit door to keep it held while while she smoked. Her match was soon, and she wasn't about to go wandering outside just to get a fix. She parted her lips slightly to expel a stream of off-white smoke. She had done a bit of reading up on "The Amazon", it made sense given that she had been the one to request the match in the first place, though she had made sure that was kept on the down low. Tonight wasn't about winning or losing, it was about sending a message. One thing was for certain, the locker room was going to remember her by the time that bell rang.

Cassidy plucked the cigarette from her lips with one more billow of smoke before she carelessly tossed it at her feet with the one she had just had prior. She clapped her boot down, grinding the flicking butt into the pavement with a wicked smirk playing across her face. "The bigger they are..." She slipped away from the doorway, making her way down the darkened service hallway. The light stretching the length of the cool hall slowly faded as the door clicked shut. It was time to get down to business. "...the harder they fall."

Before her music even hit, the clink of spurs could be heard around the arena blast over the sound system. The clear crisp metallic sound had been more than enough to draw a bit of quiet as the lights dimmed. The ramp was lit dimly with the flicker of orange red and yellow glow. It was almost soothing, like a campfire out in the middle of nowhere. From the darkness of the curtains slipped Cassidy, hat drawn down low to obscure her face, gloved hands gripping her hefty belt. As her music kicked on, she made her way slow and steady down the ramp, slipping something from her belt. She let a length of rope slip down between her fingers for a bit before whipping it up, twirling her lasso into the air.

With a flick of her wrist, she sent the rope into the crowd, giving it a hard yank to return it. Trapped within the ringed rope was a sign. One for Alaina in fact. Chalking up her hand on the length of rope, she grabbed hold of one corner and roughly wrestled it from her lasso, holding it up to the crowd so they could see it. It had gotten a mixed reaction, people not sure what to think before she carelessly tossed it on the ground and stepped onto it, using it as a doormat to wipe off her boots.  As she made her way to the ring, she coiled her lasso back up to hook back onto her belt.

She stopped at the ringside stairs, putting her boots up one at a time to unbuckle her spurs and set them aside. It wasn't exactly as if she would be let to wear them in the ring during a match of this particular rule set after all. Once she made her way to the top of the steps, she draped her rope over the back of one of the ring posts. Her hand came up, cupping the top of her hat as she dipped between the top and bottom rope to slip into the ring. Cassidy tipped the brim of her hat up with a thumb, blowing The Amazon a kiss.

"Seems you're a bit of a name in this here outfit." She glanced to the crowd who had no doubt by this point decided to side with Alaina. "Bit a wild mare, if your record says anthin' about ya. Reckon it's time someone broke you right and proper." She tilted her chin slightly, making a small clicking sound as if calling the woman over to her like a trained animal. She flashed Alaina a wide grin as she rolled her shoulders, getting ready to grapple up when the bell hit. It seemed she was leaving on her hat for now.

Alaina watched Cassidy enter the arena and raised an eyebrow at the spectacle. She stood with her arms crossed, not looking impressed. As Cassidy came in the ring and spoke Alaina listened and tried to make sense of what she was saying. "Sorry girl, I am from southern California. I totally miss all the cowgirl talk. But if you think I am like an animal to tame or something, you are horribly mistaken."

The bell rang and Alaina circled, eyeing Cassidy. If she wanted to lock up Alaina was going to oblige. This woman's cocky nature fired up the amazon. She moved in to grapple with Cassidy and surge forward with all the strength she could to crush Cassidy back against the turnbuckle! Alaina wasn't going to be putting up with any of her attitude. She was going to be the one breaking her and putting Cassidy in her place! Alaina's resume wasn't given to her, it was earned. Cassidy was getting everything the amazon had tonight!

“Ain’t the first to make that claim, won't be the last.” Cassidy hadn't waited time sizing Alaina up, when the bell range she was off to meet the woman head on. She had looked at enough of her matches to know what to expect from her opponent. Capable, strong, quite the test of skill. She was going to have to be cunning to deal with this woman, but she was all for the challenge.

A collar and elbow tie up, matching Alaina’s form with her own technique. The Amazon was able to get a bit of ground on her before she dug in and stopped the charge like grabbing the bull by the horns. She leaned in close in her lock up smirking. “For a gal who claims she ain't an animal, you sure charge like a wild one.”

Cassidy wrenched them from side to side, trying to get the upper hand as they two women circled in the lock up. “What happened to yer little boy toy? Not comin' out to support you no more?” she gave Alaina an exaggerated pout. She wanted to stay locked up like this to get into her opponents head a bit, so she would actively be trying to maintain it, ready to react if the woman actually went for a move.

Alaina scowled at Cassidy as she began speaking about her personal life, and the people she knew. Alaina kept the grapple held, but rammed her knee upward, trying to smash it right into Cassidy's abdomen to knock the wind out of her! "Maybe you should focus on me instead of talking!" Alaina said, a hint of venom in her words. If that was successful, she would waste no time in shifting the grapple to a hard squeezing side headlock on Cassidy!

She read up on Alaina it seemed, Alaina felt like she was dealing with the type of crazy woman who'd try anything for an advantage in the ring. Alaina hated that type of wrestler. They were the ones that tended to go overboard, they were the "crazy psycho bitches" of wrestling. Few and far between, they were generally bad enough to give off a nasty impression. Alaina recalled the rivalry between Taylor Parker and Kelly Conway, and how downright nasty that had gotten.

Cassidy was as sharp as a knife, her boots shuffling a bit as she slipped backwards as Alaina leaned into to knee her. She took the blow with a grunt, but the crippling effect The Amazon had hoped to achieved seemed leased substantially since it seemed Cassidy was still able to speak. She let out a coughing wheeze before it faded into a chuckle. “Look’it you. I’m over here tryin’ to make polite conversation and yet taking cheap shots.” There was a playful knowingness in her tone, she wasn't upset it seemed, more so amused.

Her hat toppled to the canvas as Alaina transitioned into a headlock. Smooth, just as good as Cassidy knew the woman could be. The cowgirl wasn't altogether unprepared though. She hadn't wasted any time in letting The Amazon crank her head, instead, she hooked one arm down and around the woman's leg as the other reached up, to lock in her opponent's arm around her own neck oddly enough.

Bracing her boots to the ring she looked to showcase her own strength early in the match as she attempted to hoist Alaina up onto her shoulders for a brief moment. The Amazon wouldn't be there long if she had been grappled up, as Cassidy gave them a quick spin before trying to plant her back to the mat hard with an Olympic Slam.

Alaina grabbed on and squeezed, but it did her no good! Instead, she was grabbed and lift up high across Cassidy's shoulders before she crashed down hard to the mat! Alaina scream duo in pain and writhed on the canvass in the aftermath of the big slam, the impact still felt as her whole torso throbbed with pain after that nasty landing! She grit her teeth, trying to roll over onto her hands and knees. She had to get up and fast!

Unfortunately for her, Alaina's body wasn't responding as quickly as she would have liked. That was a huge counter and one that had clearly put Cassidy in the drivers seat very early in this matchup!

Much to the amazement of the crowd it seemed Cassidy wasn't shooting blanks when it came to her in ring work. She hoisted Alaina up, letting out a holler. “Woooo-eeee!” The spin was sharp and disorienting as she brought The Amazon crashing to the mat to the collective surprise of the audience.

Cassidy popped her legs up, leaning herself forward into a crouch. The cowgirl scooped up her hat, dusting it off on her pants leg as she rounded on her downed opponent. “Sore subject hun? You two ain't a thing no more or nothin’?” She took a hopping step forward, taking a mean soccer kick at Alaina’s stomach to try and knock her over onto her back. She gave a sharp whistle at what she had done, as if she happened on the scene of something impressive.

“If yer done with him, I wouldn't mind taking him for a ride. Bit of a sissy boy, but he sure cleans up nice don't he?” If she had booted the girl onto her back, Cassidy would raise a leg high before trying to stomp down hard on Alaina’s stomach. “Bit too pretty for you honestly, wasn't sure which of you was the lady at first.”

Alaina felt the soccer kick hammer her abdomen, and the stomp afterward didn't help matters any. However, Alaina heard Cassidy's words and they stung far worse than any of that pain. "Shut up...." Was all the response Alaian could muster after having the wind stomped out of her. This woman was a mix of things that drove Alaina nuts. She was beating Alaina, she seemingly stalked or looked up information on her personal life.... and her accent was grating on Alaina's ears! She knew she had to get up and take the fight to this woman, but she was in no shape to do so.

Alaina tried to roll to the side away from Cassidy, once more attempting to push herself up to her feet!

“Now where are you gittin’ off to sugar?” Cassidy chuckled softly as she walked after her rolling opponent, taking the time to afix her hat back on her head. The more her words dug at Alaina, the less likely she was to stop. She was waging a fight on two fronts, trying to dissect the girl. It was just business to her, despite the nature of the personal attack. If it meant she could sucm a bit of an advantage from exploiting someone's life she was a morally gray enough person to do so without really feeling bad at all.

“Course, if yer into them more ladyfolk like people, I could always take you to bed. I reckon I’m a bit more manly than yer sissyboy.” She took a few jogging steps than hopped over Alaina, making sure she was cut off from rolling far enough to reach the ropes. As The Amazon started to lift herself back up, Cassidy put a firm boot to her back. She leaned in, putting her weight on the woman to pin her back down to the canvas.

“You a good kisser? That’s one my requirements when I take a boo.” Cassidy’s hat cast her face in shadow as she looked over The Amazon, all but her white grin of pearlie whites obscured. The cowgirl raised her boot off the woman's back to give her another vicious stomp. “How about it hun, you want to cozy up tight with a real woman after I put you out to pasture?”
