Strategy: Goes for submission holds in almost any situation, hoping to wear down opponents and reduce their strength and mobility or cripple key areas of the body. If forced into using strikes, she is inelegant, if not unfamiliar, and will fight like a pit-bull.
Style: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mostly, with some elements of brawling styles and general submission moves

Finishing Moves:

Blackout - Cris employs a modified variant of a regular triangle choke, holding on to an opponent from behind with the legs, applying the choke and hanging upside down, almost always while they're standing, and restraining their arms. Cuts off the supply of blood to the brain and results in quick unconsciousness but little permanent harm.

Boa Lock - Cris uses this when the opponent is sitting up on the mat; she gets behind them, grabbing their head in a reverse headlock under her armpit to press it backwards while scissoring their waist, pulling and stretching.

Bear and Snake - Cris grabs an opponent who's bending over, shoving their head between her thighs and using a scissors on their neck, while simultaneously squeezing their waist with a ferocious bearhug. If the opponent gives her much trouble she can always release the scissors and smash the opponent face-first into the ground, although she only does this with Heels.

Characteristics

Physical Appearance: She has a very curvy body, her muscles all covered over by at least a bit of fat, and she's slightly taller than an average girl. Her skin is not terribly dark, but obviously not white. Cris' hair is chocolate brown, and very long, tied back in a ponytail with long, wild bangs on either side. Her eyes are so dark brown they look black. Her face would look very imperial and statuesque except for the two big scars running vertically, one from her chin to right below her right eye, and the other running above and below her left eye. A life of stress has left her looking a bit more mature than usual.

Personality: Tries to project confidence, if not friendliness, to everyone she meets. If provoked, she will become aggressive, and reason might not always work on her in this state. She doesn't go out of her way to be rude or snobbish at all to anyone, but adopts a general 'it's a bad idea to fuck with me' attitude that she learned to project perfectly over her hard life. Has a hard time opening up, even to friends or crushes. Someone who angers her but wishes to make amends may need to be patient, for she's not an easy person to get back on one's side after a double-cross or insult. By nature she is a hard realist, keeping a realistic assessment of her strength and her enemies even though she seems overconfident.
Alignment: Face, with a distinctly anti-hero streak; will interfere in blatant cheating or bullying, and tends to be aggressively anti-authoritarian with the referee.

Past/History: Cristina was abandoned on the Mexican-American border near the Rio Grande river and found by the border patrol, becoming a ward of the state of Texas. Her orphanage was known as 'the bin', where babies recovered from illegal immigrants or abandoned in the desert were put. Discipline and funding was lax, and bullying was a terrible problem. Cristina became a rowdy child, who would fight to protect herself or other weaklings and show no mercy to punks. She didn't like to use her fists, though, discovering simple chokes and strangles were able to put out an assailant much easier and made the kids respect her a lot faster. She absorbed lessons about not trusting authority from the lax staff of the orphanage, who would rarely help her when she needed it and barely did enough to keep the kids alive most days.

Her orphanage finally had to close its doors when she was 17, and she got a court to legally emancipate her. Cris joined a local wrestling gig, studying special submission techniques from a seasoned old pro and training. By chance, she happened to hear from her mentor about the AFW, and decided to pool all of her meager resources to go there. It was a bit hairy in terms of living and supporting herself when she first got to Japan, and the suspicion and mistrust everyone gave her didn't help, but she managed to get by until she was 'discovered' for her talent and signed on with Friction.

Wrestling Attire: Cristina isn't picky about what she wears, and generally wraps her curvy body in a tight leotard or sports outfit, usually in her favorite color, black. She has no qualms about getting skimpy, though, with either lingerie or bikinis, despite her lack of sexual confidence. Nudity disturbs her a little but she is capable of overcoming this.

Fun Facts:
-Her birth name was assigned by the orphanage, but she changed it upon becoming an adult, claiming control of her life.
-She absolutely adores kittens and will fawn most uncharacteristically. This tends to make her a bit biased to like catty girls.
-Cris loves to sing in her spare time, although she is frankly quite bad at it.
-She's remarkably not picky, and will eat just about anything put in front of her.
-Cris loves to make a big deal about how mysterious her scars are and won't tell anyone who asks about them.
-When it comes to sensual matters, she's a lot less confident, as she doesn't have much experience. She's bisexual, trending towards girls, possibly because no girls tried to beat her up as a kid.
