Strategy: Given her height and weight, Cristina relies on brute force, ‘charge and assault’ tactics. She prefers anything that involves kicks and punches and she also doesn’t mind using slams or weapons should rules allow. She avoids high flying where possible due to several bad experiences in developmental. While she can use submission holds, Cristina prefers to where possible to reduce exposure to those situations as she knows her strengths lie in straight up combat.
Fighting Style: Mostly strike orientated, focuses on use of the knees and elbows too.
Preferred Attacks: The standard: punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Clotheslines are useful as well. She also enjoys throwing people into the turnbuckles and generally throwing smaller girls around.
Preferred Matches: Cristina is a hardcore fighter through and through. She will still do normal matches as that is where the money is, but avoids hentai wherever possible. She also is interested in a little boxing, curious to see if age has made her any better.

Endurance: ★★★★★ – Cristina is too stubborn to just collapse and give up. If you are going to beat her, you are going to have to knock her out.
Strength: ★★★★ – Cristina is strong for her build, though her build most certainly helps her get an edge over most opponents.
Speed: ★★★ – Speed was never Cristina’s strong suit.
Defense: ★★★ – Cristina struggles to defend against attacks, sometimes preferring to take an attack head on rather than blocking.
Technique: ★★- The stat with the most work needed, Cristina has a very sloppy technique when it comes to wrestling, she can get the job done, but it won’t exactly look amazing.

Submissions: ★★ – While she can pin people down, don’t expect her to do anything more impressive than a standard pin.

Signature/Finisher Moves

Missile Punch: When her opponent is on the ropes or the turnbuckle and stunned, Cristina will go to the opposite side, bounce off the ropes if there any, and then charge back towards her opponent, her arm reared back and ready for a punch. When in range, she thrusts her arm forward in a hook motion right for the opponent’s face. She then uses their body as a braking system as she charges into them. Results from this vary, smaller girls have been known to fly over or through the ropes. Cristina currently has this as both a signature and a finisher, simply because she hasn’t fully developed a finisher that expresses ‘her’ enough.

Appearance:

Personality: Cristina cares. Possibly a little too much. She can become very polarised to an issue rather easily. Sometimes not even thinking of the other side of view, leading her to be easily manipulated. Outside of that, Cristina is a rather happy and positive person. Friendly to a degree, she will gladly speak to new people, but to get into her actual circle of friends can take some work. In ring, she can be prone to gloating, coming off as a bit of a bitch.

In the ring however she is serious, there is no messing around when a match is on, she had done far too much of that in her earlier career. Her headstrongness can become an issue in ring as she sometimes refuses to give up trying a certain attack, even if it keeps failing. Sometimes this isn’t a bad thing, but other times it can cause issues.

History: This is supposed to be the part where we say that Cristina came from a family of wrestlers and that she is carrying on a proud tradition. This isn’t really the case with Cristina however. She was born to a mother who was a chef and a father who was an accountant. Cristina was the first person in the entire family to pursue this kind of career.

Growing up, Cristina had always been a bit of a tomboy, she always wanted to take part in as port, and things like netball and football never really interested her. Her first combat sport was boxing at age 14. She carried on until she was 17, but she never saw success with it. She had the power required to be a boxer, more than enough of it, but her speed and technique always let her down. At 16, she started to taper off with her boxing career and instead discovered wrestling, a sport where brute strength could at the very least get you somewhere.

Puerto Rico isn’t exactly massive, and the wrestling scene was even smaller. Despite the lack of size, Cristina struggled to advance beyond developmental, working hard on trying to improve her technique, nothing seemed to be yielding any results. However like all wrestlers, Cristina managed to get a break and finally, after winning a match at a show in San Juan, promoters finally took her seriously, offering her a position a regular show.

By pure luck (Though Cristina would argue it was by skill), Cristina had managed to get herself invited to the biggest wrestling show in Puerto Rico, and the match just happened to be a title shot. Now the reality was, that she was being used as fall woman. The promotors betted on Cristina losing and the title holder retaining the title in an easy stomp match. What happened in reality was much different. Cristina used her own muscle and brutish tactics to win, and claim the title for herself. For a moment, she was the most important person in Puerto Rican Women’s wrestling. And at this point she was only 22.

This was short lived however as in the next title match she lost the title and suffered an injury to her lower leg. It took her a few months to recover, and since then she had been back to her usual low tier self, with many people believing she had gone past her prime. With the wrestling scene becoming more and more stale, and the Puerto Rican economy in freefall at this point, Cristina tried to leave the country and find a new show to perform on. She had short stints in both the US and the UK in small productions, and eventually found herself in Japan and at the AFW: a show so big, that Cristina was sure she could make her own little niche.
