Laila Nazari vs. Prayuth 'Pray' Sakda - The Huntress and the Hunted

Strong legs or not, it was far from easy for Prayuth to push his way to the ropes and earn his salvation, with Laila making him suffer for every inch of progress he made. She clamped tight with iron arms, crushing and squeezing, and he could feel - and hear - his bones cracking and giving way. He was thankful she didn’t throw a body scissor into the mix, because that was pretty much the only thing that gave him a way out. But he doubted she would make that mistake twice.

He thought she’d back off after the break, give him some small relief, but it was looking like she just wasn’t the type to give her opponent any relief. The next thing he knew, Prayuth was being lifted up with shocking ease, for what he assumed would be some kind of slam.

As it turned out, that was not the case. No, she brought him down hard on her knee, smashing his back, a move that sent pain rippling through his spine. Prayuth cried out, his body jerking in a frenzy, but it wasn’t all uncontrolled movement. He brought his arm up and swung it her way, attempting to hit her with an elbow to the face, and he’d keep doing that as many time as he could until she let go and gave him some space.

Prayuth's body jolted and flailed like a fish out of water as he was slammed into Laila's knee. She had been careful in executing this move-- while she wanted to punish Prayuth, at the same time she didn't want to cripple him or render him a paraplegic, and she certainly didn't want to render him incapable of fighting back. By her standards, it was little more than a love tap-- albeit, one applied with brutal force. To his spine. Alright, maybe that metaphor didn't work.

Laila had expected the blow to hurt him. What she did not expect was for Prayuth to suddenly jerk upright and ram one, two, five successive elbows into her face! She grunted with each blow, Prayuth's elbow slamming hard into her forehead and nose. Finally, she released Prayuth and toppled backwards, one leg bridging the mat as she clutched her forehead. "Erfff...nnnngh..."

Alright, maybe she had underestimated Prayuth after all...

Prayuth wasn’t sure if he was more impressed or terrified by Laila’s ability to tank his elbows, but he was certainly a generous amount of both. He’d hit grown men, big men, some of the toughest guys he’d ever met, with this calibur of attack before, and it had always been enough to at least put them down for a generous amount of time.

Not Laila. Not this beast. For her, it was just enough to leave her stunned for a little while and free him from the backbreaking hold he was trapped in, something he was quite grateful for. A good opening. He just had to figure out what to do with it.

Holds weren’t his forte, but he knew he needed to keep her ground for a while, and he had a good idea on how to do that. Prayuth had some decent leg power of his own, and brought that strength to bear when he rolled over, opened his legs wide, and tried to capture her head between his legs, looking to crank her skull with a headscissors the same way she’d done to him not long ago.

Turnabout, fair play, all of that.

Things were moving faster than Laila had anticipated. One minute she was on her back, and the next, Prayuth's legs were latching firmly around her skull, squeezing her tightly in a headscissor. She grimaced, breathing a little more intensely through her nose as her circulation was cut off and the pressure tightened around her head. As far as headscissors went, it wasn't bad. A B+ maybe for execution. C- for thinking it was going to stop her.

Her nostrils flared as she rolled, getting to her knees as she moved to try to force Prayuth to his back. If she managed this then she would glare down at him, grabbing at his heels and trying to pry them apart. Just because he had a good move in didn't mean that she wasn't going to use her full strength to escape. If she managed to get her head free, then she would keep a firm hold over Prayuth's boots as she glared down at him.

"Not bad," she would breathe, "but not enough."

And with that, she would stomp Prayuth once between his legs, before dropping to her butt, looking to intertwine his legs with hers in a figure four leg lock!

Huh. This was working fairly well so far. Not that Prayuth was actively doubting his abilities, but everything with Laila had gone so wrong before, it was refreshing to pop off a strategy like this and have it be a success.

How long would it be a sucess, though? That was a different matter.

Laila proved just as hardy as ever, working her way around the hold and forcing him to crank it an awkward ankle. Like this, he tried to keep the pressure going, but she had leverage and strength on her side, as she worked his ankle apart, forcing them apart more and more, until she managed to break the hold all the way.

”Damn it-” Prayuth’s protests were cut short by a stomp to the gut, one that left him winded, gasping, and easy prey for what came next, as she twisted his limbs around into a classic and familiar form.

He cried out, a loud shout, as she locked in the figure four, and would’ve made more noise if he hadn’t clamped down his teeth hard. He went into a struggle right away, pulling hard for the ropes, attempting to reach the closet ones before Laila managed to do some real damage.

Now this was more like it. Laila's usually stern demeanour had a faint smile now as she leaned back, twisting Prayuth in a painful figure four.
The audience was getting a nice visual treat, seeing the two powerful, fit wrestlers lying across from one another, sweat shining on their rippling and as their lean, fit figures were stretched back...even if Prayuth, right now, was in a world of pain.

"Come on, prey," Laila taunted as she casually leaned back, stretching away at Prayuth as she felt him pulling them to the ropes. "Just a little further. That's it. Don't tap out on me yet."

Don’t listen to her. Don’t.

As rough an individual as Laila was turning out to be, the worst thing about her, in Prayuth’s eyes at least, was all the taunting. He’d fought stronger women before, dominating types, but she was the first he’d met who was so secure in it. She kept calling him ‘prey’, and he was starting to feel more and more like, as if he was some animal that she was having a fun time hunting down, nothing more than sport.

Not comforting. Not at all.

That thought spurred him on, as he fought through the pain as best as he could. She made life hell for him every step of the way, but he was eventually able to reach the ropes and grabbed on tight, locking his fingers around the bottom one. The referee went into action right away and waved her hands. ”Rope break!”

Prayuth breathed a sigh of relief. Or he would, when/if she actually let go of the hold

Laila held her breath as she leaned back further, sweat dripping from her brow as her powerful muscles went to work contorting her male opponent. Prayuth, for his part, was doing an admirable job of not screaming, and, perhaps more impressively, was actually dragging the two of them closer to the ropes. She felt her butt and palms slide against the mat, grimacing a little even as she angrily winched the hold tighter.

Eventually, Prayuth grabbed the robes. Giving the Thai guy a sour look, Laila stood up, grabbing him by the head to yank him to his feed. Without a further word, she slipped behind him, grabbing a knee with one hand and his chin with another, before hoisting him up across her shoulders, aiming to torment him further with a trophy rack hold!

Was that sweat he was feeling, dripping down on his back? A sign that Laila was feeling actual fatigue? Good. That was good to know. He was starting to wonder if this woman was human or not, and he felt that was a strong sign in the affirmative.

Not everything else jived with that, though. She moved like a killer, giving him barely any breather as she moved in and grabbed him by the head, lifting him up, hauling him to his feet and hoisting him up with ease.

All he could do was cry out as he was laid out on her shoulder and the stretching began, tearing away at his midsection. He gritted his teeth and tried his best to keep the pain quiet, but that was all he could hope for, struggling to endure her cranking pressure.

Laila clenched her teeth as she balanced Prayuth across her shoulders, feeling his bare back curve against her as she pulled down across his chin and knee. She heard him give a sharp cry, before it was suddenly stifled as he clenched his teeth. Despite herself, she found that admirable. Prayuth had been lacking a lot of things in this fight-- skill, stamina, even simple, raw power-- but resolve was not one of them. She had been battering Prayuth relentlessly, but she had yet to break him.

Well, break his spirit, anyway. His body would be another matter.

Taking a deep breath, Laila leapt backwards, aiming to slam her foe hard into the mat with modified back body drop! The match was dragging on, and unless Prayuth pulled out any more surprises, she was about ready to end it at this stage...
