Masane finds a fan!

Masane walked to her locker room with a small sigh. She sat down on a bench before she began to work the combination on her locker. She still had the title, even though she had lost to, and was humiliated by Sarah twice in a row. She was angry, but mostly angry with herself. She was aware that Sarah wouldn't be allowed the belt from the start, but she had more hoped to beat Sarah rather than just piss her off. Still, she broke her arm, which is more than most people could say here, so she could take a little solace in that....

It was purely chance that Rika Smart, Sarah Gatt's friend and ally, happened towalk into the locker room at that moment. Still being relatively new here she had just recieved her locker yesterday, and was lugging a whole buch of junk she could store in there. Most of it was clothes, but others seemed to be drinks and food and other useless belongings. It was also a coincidence that her locker was only a few off from Masane's.

After working the combination and somehow cramming all of it inside, Rika sighed in relief and made to leave, that is until she saw Masane. Rika watched all of Sarah's matches, hoping to continue to learn from her, so she had obviously seen hers and Masane's. "Hey, I know you!" she suddenly declared, grinning ear to ear. "You're that girl who got her ass kicked by Sarah! Twice!"

Masane's good mood was suddenly smacked back down by those words. She turned to see who it was, and frowned a little. "Could you kindly NOT refer to me as that? My name is Masane. Friction champion." She replied, but grimaced a little even as she said it.

Rika had to snicker a bit at that. The girl still considered herself a champion after all she'd been through. "You know, Masane, you're kinda high and mighty for someone who lost to a girl with a broken arm. Then again, Sarah could probably beat you with both her arms broken. She's that strong!"

Masane frowned at her. "Mind keeping your comments to yourself?" She growled at her. "And... grh... damn it I know I can beat her! She's just a common street thug!" She shouts, and punches her locker... punching a hole straight through the door!

Rika recoiled when Masane actually punched through her locker, and actually took a step back. There was only one thing keeping her from running away; the fact that her idol had already beaten her. Twice.

"There's nothing common about her," she replied a bit crossly, not liking the way Masane was talking about her best friend. "You should know that. How many times does she have to kick your ass before you get it through stupid head?"

Masane slowly turned her head and looked at Rika.

"You have ten seconds to shut up and leave me alone." She warned her. Normally, she'd let people speak their mind, but Rika had caught her at a pretty bad time...

Rika turned cold when Masane's gaze turned on her. The girl looked like she was ready to kill. "Fine," she spat, and turned to leave the locker room. But she felt she couldn't leave until she delivered one last sting to Masane.

"Sarah should be champion, not you. The only reason she's not is because the officials don't like her. You're just the lucky sap who fell into it. Hope you're proud of yourself." With that, Rika went to leave, smirking to herself. Told her.

That did it. Masane slammed her locker shut and went after Rika, trying to grab her by the hair and slug her fist HARD into Rika's gut! She couldn't remember the last time she let rage get ahold of her like this, but this whole situation was completely infuriating to her, and Rika ended up being the target she released her stress on.

Rika screamed in pain and surprise as her hair was pulled, effectively stopping her ffrom leaving. "OWW!!! Let go- UGHHH!!" The punch buried itself into her stomach, driving just about all the air out of her body. She didn't think Masane would attack her, and was caught completely off guard. Rika immediately fell to her knees, clutching her stomach to ease the pain.
