Tyris vs Masane

BOOM! Red pyro flew up as a remix of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon theme began playing. Masane then stepped out in her white gi and pants. The music was a little stereotypical, but it would do until she thought of something better. She cracked her knuckles slowly before walking down the ramp, twisting her body from side to side as she walked before she entered the ring and moved to the opposite corner. She seemed a little quiet tonight. She seemed focused on the fight itself rather than try to win it. She was looking to take out a few of her frustrations on her opponent.

Shortly after Masane made her entrance, the arena would dim slightly, Tyris beginning her slow walk out to the ring, her normal cold look plastered across her face. Her partner Emily wouldn't be with her this time, leaving Tyris feeling slightly annoyed at her absense, but nevertheless she headed down to the ring, slowly climbing the metal steps and slipping past the ropes. The amazon looked around at the crowd a bit, shrugging as her music faded and the lights came back on, then looked up at Masane with a very slight, cold smirk on her face. She wasn't too impressed by her opponent, and was eager to take out a few of her own frustrations on the girl.

Masane may have been in an irritated mood, but she wouldn't forget her manners. She raised a fist into her hand, in front of her, and bowed slightly while locking eyes with her opponent. She could feel the woman almost staring straight through her with that cold glare of hers. It was slightly unnerving, but it would only make her more careful around her. Once she bowed, she shifted into her karate stance, and waited for the bell to ring. She didn't bother sparing words with the woman.

Tyris was a woman of little words, so Masane not bothering to speak was definately a good thing on her part. Tyris would also raise up her arms, and the moment the bell rang, she moved in towards Masane and smiled, gesturing with her head to invite her in for a lock-up, wondering if the girl would dare try it against the muscular opponent in front of her.

Masane was more of a striker than a grappler, and would stay that way here tonight. She shook her head at the invite, but then stepped in, trying for a fake right punch before trying for a swift heel kick with her left foot, aimed for Tyris's leg.

Tyris goes to block the punch, not sensing the kick and getting nailed by it. She would grunt and drop down to one knee in front of Masane, but as she did so would pull her arm back and go for a big chop to Masane's legs.

Masane smirks as the fakeout got her, and was about to swing one hell of a kick for the side of her head. As she swings her kick however, Tyris swings her arm for her supporting leg and Masane ends up getting knocked off balance, falling to the side with a grunt. "Damn it...

Once Masane hit the mat, Tyris jumped up, giving a bit of scream and leaping towards her fallen body, going for a fistdrop aimed right at Masane's head. If it connected and Masane didn't roll out of the way, she would then try to mount the girl, going to deliver a few more follow up punches towards her face.

Heard the scream when Tryis jumped up. It almost sounded... feral. She didn't have time to do anything about it, however, and ended up nailed in the head, hard. She groaned, her vision a little fuzzy after that blow, and then felt the amazon mounting her, and she raised her fists up to try and protect herself against her punches before trying to counter with a hard punch aimed for her nose, trying to get her off her.

Tyris pounded away at her a few times, finally taking Masane's punch to her face and backing off her a bit, reaching up to nurse her nose a bit.
