Setting the Hierarchy! [Open Challenge]

There were few times where Karina presented herself to actually fight in the ring nowadays. The long haired fighter was always busy accepted fights right and left outside of the league and rarely did she got herself in the official ring for matches. When she did though, there was always that spark of wild excitement that struck her heart and those of the crowd into a frenzy, primal rage where she wanted to best and humiliate her opponent she often sought and loved to toy with! It had been a great while since she chose to show that side of hers and for months it seemed that the fire within Karina had long died down, some blaming her recent relationship with Cecilia, others blamed Karina for simply getting older and no longer interested by wrestling.

In short, both were true. She had more devotion to give to Cecilia and fight with her instead of others and with age comes more responsibilities. Wrestling could only go that far before her body would give in and the money would stop rolling in. Karina had chosen to retire for a moment and look for new ways to make money without the possibility of breaking herself in the process.. But who the heck would she be then? She loved the thrill of battle and within a few months of absence did she chose to return tonight, fangs baring and fists clenched! 




She stepped onto the stage, bringing a hand through her wild hair and brushed it aside briefly showing that glaring right eye before those bangs returned to cover it. It still saw through the seemingly endless strands of hair, though her opponent could not say the same. She wore her new attire, having the markings and accessories of a real predator, adorned to match that primal personality Karina had brought with her. She marched down the ramp, the crowd seemingly lively as ever but the return of one of the veterans was often met with mixed reactions, Karina's was given more cheers than negative reactions, though it was not enough for Karina, who came for the biting and not the barking. She wanted an opponent and she was going to call one out. She took one of the microphones from the announcers, rolling underneath the bottom ropes to rise herself back up onto her feet, her lips instantly curling into a big grin as she turned to face the stage, no one being there off course but she wanted to direct it towards the one opening where her opponent would come from.

" LISTEN UP! I AM HERE FOR ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY! I WANT SOMEONE WITH ENOUGH BACKBONE TO STEP INTO THIS RING, GO TOE TO TOE WITH ME AND SATISFY MY NEED FOR COMBAT. "

She turned for a moment, pacing around the ring and would wait just a few seconds, taking in some extra air into her lungs before she would continue, her gaze once again on that stage.

" ONE ON ONE. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. WE WILL GO BY VOCAL SUBMISSION, YOU WIN BY MAKING THE OTHER CRY OUT FOR MERCY AND TELL THIS ENTIRE ARENA THAT YOU ARE THE ALPHA. " 

Karina snickered at the very thought, bringing the microphone closer to her lips as her voice turned stern, no longer shouting through the microphone but rather keeping a cool and collected volume that would still ring through the arena.

" And it will be anything goes.. " 

With that, she threw the microphone out of the ring, crossing her arms underneath her chest and lowered her head to gaze at the canvas, her territory she had fought so many years on before her eyes fell shut and let her ears confirm the future of her challenge.

Leanna had absolutely no idea what was gonna happen tonight.

And that is what made it all the more interesting. Her night seemed rather uneventful, no plans for the Wildcat to be in the match after her battle with Seren. But fate can be nice to you at times. The motherfuckin' Fenrir herself is in the ring for the first time in how long AND she's putting an open challenge to those in the back. Now THAT'S a match she could sink her teeth into! I mean, what better opponent than Karina Rine? She would be a great opponent. Here's the big bad wolf in need of combat and who better to deliver it than the Wildcat herself? So after quickly putting on her maroon tribal attire before this girl was even done talking, Leanna would walk out of the locker room to give her the fight that she was looking for.

Leanna:

Not too long after Karina made her challenge known to the people in the back, the theme of the Wildcat would start to boom shortly, which signaled the exotic woman to walk out of the entrance with a microphone in her hand.

"Well, well, well." The Brazilian born would soon speak, standing on top of the steel ramp. "The big, bad wolf is here wanting a fight, huh?" A predatory smirk on her face as her fangs bare. "Well lucky for you, I hunger for battle with an opponent I could really sink my teeth into. So. Let's do this then. I accept your challenge!!"

Dropping the mic, she waste no time in charging down and jumping up on the ring apron, that alone being something not many could do before slingshot over the top rope. Agile as ever, she steps up towards Karina, more than ready to get this shit started with one of the most memorable veterans of AFW!

Eyelids shot open when a theme song boomed through the speakers, one that was unknown to the long haired fighter and raised her head just to look up at the stage, wondering just who would dare to come at her. It wasn't one of those dainty wrestlers with overly cute of popular looks, those usually did not even gain a grain of interest from Karina, who showed a big, fanged grin when her opponent was revealed!

The woman was dressed like a savage, a wild woman who sought to hunt prey to feast on for the night, oh how that quickly sparked Karina's excitement for the match already! She listened intently as the woman carried an aura of savagery of her own, rushing straight down the ramp and up into the ring with impressive agility, bringing one hand to her hip while her tongue roamed over her own lips.

" ..What a delicious treat. I'll enjoy showing you where your place truly is in this ring.. " She would take a step closer, close to pressing herself right up against the Brazilian though kept her distance, the staff member getting things ready for them now that an opponent was ready for Karina's challenge. " Underneath me.. Whimpering in defeat! " She parted her lips and snapped her teeth in front of Leanna, much like a predator would when they are about to go for the kill. Karina was planning to show Leanna what it was like to circle with a fellow hunter, to dance with claws and teeth bared at one another. The very idea of fighting someone who acted the same as her made a shiver ran down her spine!

Coming from her debut which didn't go her way some, Leanna felt that she had something to prove. Right now, she isn't going to dwell on that, she's about to face a veteran that is Karina, a woman that was probably comparable to the point of insult. Not to say that there are differences between the two, besides the obvious length of hair, both seemed to bring different types of the predator. Taking a quick look, Leanna would think Karina brings more of power and brute force, which tends to compliment her speed and agility. Both do have their advantages but the Brazilian born looked to put herself on top of the hierarchy that 'Fenrir' wanted to establish.

Despite having Karina standing taller than the Wildcat herself, Leanna stood proud, her body is no joke and could definitely tear her opponent in more ways than one. Since she was still new, there was also a chance that Karina hasn't seen Leanna in action, which would make for a nice surprise for her fellow carnivore.

Her eyes burning with golden embers as the hunger to battle with a fellow hunter grew even more, amused how she seems to have already put herself on top of the food chain before the claws were out! "My place is at the top. I don't do being under anyone. Ever." Her fists clenching and unclenching whilst she looks straight in the eyes of Karina, gnashing her teeth back at Fenrir. "And I hope for your sake those claws and fangs of yours haven't gotten dull. Not that they will help you as you face a real Apex Predator!" She was raring to go, bouncing lightly on her heels.

If only the staff could get this damn match started already!

Karina knew absolutely nothing about the girl, not paying much attention to the current wrestling roster in general but she could already tell that she was going to have a lot of fun with her, lowering herself into a crouch stance as she was just about ready to begin, fingers curling slightly to show a clawed posture with both hands. " Oh.. You a girl to my very heart. " She flashed a fanged grin, giving the referee a quick, menacing glare to show that she was growing impatient and it seemed it quickly worked out, the bell ringing to signal the start of a glorious hunt, one that Karina wanted to win!

Her eyes widened, clenching her teeth with fangs bared as she lunged straight at the girl! Karina did not choose to overthink her initiative and went by instinct alone, the grin never leaving her face as she charged right in to close the distance, hands outstretched and aiming forward before she tried to forcefully engage Leanna into a test of strength! It was a simple one but she was more than eager to try and see just how powerful her unknown opponent was!

Rolling her neck, the more time goes on, the more her fists would clench and unclench, signifying that she has grown tired of waiting. She really wants to start this wonderful hunt, a battle that no doubt would decide who was the real hunter and who is being hunted. Karina certainly agrees as she managed to make the ref start the match already!

Finally!

Karina certainly didn't waste time as she just lunged straight towards the challenger, quickly closing the distance and the veteran looked to engage with Leanna in a test of strength. The Brazilian born was not one that relied on raw power as much in her fights, although saying that she wasn't strong with the body she has would be a bad assessment. Was it because that its with a hunter like her that she would actually want to do it? Leanna chose to not think but act, the Wildcat engaging Fenrir with such test of strength, fingers locking with each other. The grin never leaving her as she looked to show off how she is in terms of strength to Karina. If she went all out then Leanna would have no choice but to do so as well, determined to push wolf girl back!

Karina had various reasons to engage the woman in such a standard and frontal attack. She knew the woman was faster than her, definitely on the agile side with the way she came into the ring, not to mention calling herself the Wildcat meant that she was pretty much a predator in her own standards, wondering if she would accept the lock up or try to dodge and flank Karina while she was moving forward. Karina could deal with some early match damage if it meant finding out what her opponent's strategy was to deal with, something that would counter Karina's strength and give her trouble wasn't something she wanted to risk later in the fight.

To her surprise though the woman did not only accept the test of strength but even pushed into her with added bravado! The grin did not go unnoticed either, matched with Karina's own fanged grin as she surged her own strength forward to meet the woman's march, wanting to show Leanna just what kind of power Fenrir had in store for the woman! " Impressive.. But not enough! " She roared loudly, pushing forward and downwards to put a lot more pressure on those legs, trying to make them buckle and perhaps even bring her opponent down on their knees infront of the long haired fighter!

Was it foolish pride that had her do that?

Sure, Leanna wasn't the most muscular of fighters here in AFW but she certainly wasn't lacking in terms of strength. She just wanted to see how dangerous this big bad wolf really was. Not only that, but to show she wasn't gonna back down from a challenge. No matter if it is one that Leanna might not have good chances of winning.

Of course, with Karina being on the bigger side of things, she certainly has some power packed in that body of hers and had no problem showing this to the Wildcat. Fenrir pushed down onto Leanna, the Wildcat does hold her own a bit before it would soon show how much of a gap it was when it came to raw power. And Leanna was glad she felt it. Something of a mental note for the Brazilian woman. Grunting, her knees bent, Karina looks like she would be winning this little game of mercy.

However, a predator is not one without cunning and smarts.

"Oh I know..." A fanged smile to the fellow carnivore as she soon stopped pressing onto her and would just let Karina push forward and down, just landing to her butt and back....but not before tightening the grip of her hands and shooting her feet onto the abs of Karina. An attempt to roll onto her back and hopefully use the momentum to counter the big bad wolf, Leanna is trusting that her legs could at least handle the weight of Fenrir to perform a monkey flip and send her hurling over the Wildcat!

Surging forward with strength was something Karina was known for, to drive through her opponent like a truck and to practically flatten them into the canvas in the process would be the ideal result for Karina. Course she usually tried to force her opponent on their knees first and give them a faceful of abs but she was still experimenting with the girl, trying to find every little exploit and kink in her strength, which Leanna seemed to have plenty of but was slowly losing ground as Fenrir was pushing in.

The confidence Karina had did not last though when the woman decided to use Karina's strength and momentum against her, being taken for a short ride when Leanna fell backwards and took Karina along for the ride, her abs landing upon those risen feet and with a little swing, her collision course was altered from the top of Leanna's body to a short flip with her back crashing onto the canvas behind the woman instead! She flinched, having completely forgotten that little tactic while she had been fueled by the dominating push, slowly trying to roll away from the Wildcat so she could get back up onto her feet to defend herself.

Considering with what happened in her debut, Leanna was only a tad bit wary with how her legs could handle afterwards. Sure, the earlier acrobatics may seem like she is doing well but for a move like the monkey flip that has weight on top of her, it does bring consern. One way to see how they do is to try them out, wouldn't it?

And to her success, it did work, sending Karina's body flying over the Wildcat, the big impact that soon came signified by the reverberation of the canvas, one that Leanna herself could feel on her own back. A bit of a cocky version of a fanged smile, Leanna knows you don't always have to fight hard. The Brazilian would focus to what she is good at, leaving the raw power to the wolf lady.

Just as Karina's back crashed into the canvas, Leanna would perform a kip up, fancy acrobatics is what the fans would expect by now. The Wildcat sees an opportunity and while Miss Fenrir rolled away and slowly tried to get to her feet, Leanna rushed to the ropes, ricocheting off them and coming back, coming in with speed, her left knee rising up for a drive by knee strike towards Karina!
