"Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Akiha Kosha: Falls Count Anywhere

Alaina was weak when Akiha lift her up and knew she was set up for something. It was then that Akiha put herself in a precarious position of her own! It was a position Alaina had to take advantage of! Alaina grabbed hold of Akiha who was between her legs and steadied her feet, trying to lift Akiha into the air!

Alaina let out a cry as she held Akiha up, lifting high and attempting to co.plete her own amabomb finisher! Alaina could feel the vindication from it, and the satisfaction of a hard fought win against a notable foe.... provided Akiha didn't end up countering her own attempt to finish the match with a signature move!

Akiha managed to get her opponent up on her feet before she placed her head in between her legs. She would then place her hands on the Amazon hips, getting ready to lift her up. But instead of lifting up her foreign opponent would lift her up and place her on her shoulder. Akiha eyes would go wide as Alaina let out a war scream. The Japanese wrestler would then be thrown back down on the ground as the Amazon hit one of her finishers on the Crusader. To make matters worse, she had landed on top of the chair she had set up to hit Alaina with. The impact would make a large noise as the crimson hair wrestler would then be motionless as she laid on the ground.

Alaina brought Akiha crashing down to the ground and folded her over going for a pin as the referee began his count! It felt so satisfying to finally catch Akiha in one of her finishers. Maybe now she would know what the true extent of Alaina's power was and that it was not to be trifled with.

"ONE!"

"You are as tough as they come Akiha, but there is no way you are kicking out of a damn amabomb! You are the first part of my own little crusade for Julia..." Alaina said as she kept Akiha folded tightly, trying to couple the amabomb with a difficult pin for anyone to kick out of.

"TWO!"

One more second. One more second and Alaina could really feel a little bit of payback. She could only hope Julia was watching live, or would watch the match later. Every time she saw Akiha and Gwendolyn she felt like Sonic Boom had been a hyped failure, a team that had the talent but never a title. This was the start to burying that image from her mind..... if Akiha would just stay down.

Akiha would be folded up in a tight pin after being hit by Alaina finisher right on top of a chair. The one-count would then be made but the crimson hair wrestler would not move. Alaina would then start to speak but no reaction would come out of Akiha as she was still out from the brutal finisher she had taken. The referee would then come down for the two count but there was no response from the crimson hair crusader. The referee would then bring her hand down for the third count but the Japanese wrestler would not move.

“THREE!”

Alaina heard the third count land and could imagine the bell in her mind. She hobbled up, staggering limply as the referee held her hand high. She did it. She showed everyone that she could face Akiha and walk away with a win, very much unlike their last encounter. Alaina gasped for breath, still stumbling when she moved. She looked back down at Akiha, and began to walk over.

"Are you all right?" Alaina asked, her own pain and exhaustion clearly evident in her voice as she spoke. She knelt down and was still gasping for breath as she waited for a response

The Japanese wrestler wasn't even aware at the moment that she had lost. Alaina finisher on top of a chair after such a grueling match had left the crimson hair crusader in terrible shape. When the Amazon spoke, all the Japanese wrestler could muster were a few weak groans. A few officials would then arrive and place Akiha on a stretcher before attempting to take her out back to get some medical attention.

Alaina watched quietly as Akiha was helped up onto a stretcher.  She wanted to win but she didn't want to injure anyone.  Even though Akiha was one way inside the ring Alaina knew she was totally different away from the ring.  It still baffled her why she spent time with, and partnered with Gwendolyn.

Gwendolyn.  That name made Alaina's blood boil.  That was the true target of Alaina's anger.  Her drive to make Julia proud.  That rich snob whom cheated her way into a title defense against Alaina and had threatened to buy out Julia's parents promotion was just vile.  As Alaina saw Akiha carted out she tried to wave awkwardly, and if Akiha was in the hospital for any length of time she would do something to make it up to her.

For now, she made her way back to the ring as she was announced as the winner, taking in the cheers of the crowd after a hard fought match.

”Ahem.”

An unfamiliar voice came out over the loudspeaker, followed by a more familiar figure sliding her way through the curtain. None other than Maiden Sakurazaki stood at the top of the ramp, looking down at her former foe with little more than disdain on her face. She didn’t wish to be here, didn’t want to give these unwashed and unkempt masses the honor of hearing what she had to say. But it wasn’t her place to question such things. She worked as instructed.

So she waited for the crowd to calm down. And waited. And waited. After thirty or so seconds of that, she decided to just go ahead, rudeness be damned.

”Excuse me.” She kept her tone polite, but turned her nose up at Alaina, all the same. ”I’ve an important message for Alaina Sanders. Listen closely, as I will not repeat myself.” She brought the letter in her hand up, took a deep breath, then began to read, making sure to enunciate. "The refined, resplendent, and distinguished heiress of nobility...Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt, in her infinite generosity, hereby cordially accepts your challenge to a bout of your choosing-”

The crowd erupted in cheers, for what reason, Maiden couldn’t fathom. Their heroine was clearly not up to Gwendolyn’s challenge, and even if she was foolish enough to accept, it would only result in their disappointment. What the was definition of insanity, again?

”...and issue you yet another through education on the ineptitude of your boorish wrestling acumen."

There was a pause, while the audience tried to parse out what she said. By the time they’d processed it and started booing, however, she was already on her way to the back, her task completed. All of the sudden, she felt in dire need of hot bath.

Alaina was initially confused, not knowing what was going on. However she knew that voice. One of Gwendolyn's lackies. Her look of confusion turned into a smile as the crowd roared. Heiress vs. Amazon again. This was going to be good. Alaina motioned to the time keepr for a mic, and caught it when one was tossed up into the ring. "I accept and tell Gwendolyn that she better be ready for a brawl. Falls count anywhere worked out pretty good here so if she thinks she is better than her tag partner she can try her luck against me in the same match type. I can beat any woman anywhere." Alaina said before tossing the mic back and listening to the crowd roar at the prospect of Alaina facing off with Gwendolyn once more.

The only other match the two had solo was a title shot when Alaina as the challenger lost to Gwendolyn as the referee counted a slow three on Gwendolyn, allowing her a chance to kick out when she should have gone down. Alaina wasn't just trying to get the win for Julia, she felt pinning Gwendolyn was long overdue for herself as well!
