Li-Mei vs. Melody Serperior - Leafs and Roses

As soon as she went down, Li-Mei soon brought her legs close to her, just to combat any chances of an attack to her body or Melody grabbing one of her legs for some other kind of punishment. And it did work, however it also brought another problem as the Greenette went for another plan and target the back of Li-Mei instead!

"Gahh!" Yelping in pain, the Briton certainly wasn't a pushover, the Oriental Rose having to roll away and get to her knees if she can to get away from her at the moment!

With a hard kick to Li-Mei's back, the woman yelped in pain, rolling away from Melody in an attempt to escape from the woman, and get a momentary moment of rest to collect herself!

However, Melody would be quickly on to the Oriental Rose, quickly approaching her as she attempted to rise up to her feet. She would partially help the woman by snaking her arm around her neck, pulling her up to her feet and trapping her in a Front Facelock!

The hold wouldn't be held for long, as Melody would attempt to drop on her back, to drive Li-Mei's head into the canvas for a DDT!

The respite would only be so brief, Li-Mei seeing how Melody was going to just stick on her and not giver any quarter to the Oriental Rose. And brief it is, the Greenette would quickly approach the Chinese woman, giving a 'helping hand' to pull her up to her feet. Only for Melody to lock in a front facelock.

The British wrestler certainly has experience that would so far keep on par with the bluish-raven haired woman and Melody was wise to not let this one get away. Before Li-Mei could react, she found her head being driven to the canvas hard by a DDT!

A yelp would be heard after the nasty bump on her head and if she wasn't still held by Melody would roll to her side and have her hand on her head. That one will be hurting the next day.

With a crash on to the canvas, and a yelp from her foe, Melody flawlessly executed the DDT! As Li-Mei turned to her side, the greenette thought it was as good a time as any to try and pin the Oriental Rose's shoulders to the mat, and attempt to cover her for a pin after a simple, yet devastating move like that...and she saw no reason why she couldn't do it in a flashy style.

Rushing towards the ropes, the greenette would jump onto the middle one, bounce, and jump off of it, flipping backwards in the air for a Springboard Moonsault!

If successful, and Li-Mei did not roll away from where she previously laid, Melody would hook the Oriental Rose's leg for a pin!

"Owww..." The Oriental Rose would lay there, her hand rubbing her head. It would have been the perfect opportunity for a simple pin attempt. However, Melody seems to go for a more flashier option, rushing towards the ropes before bouncing off them to perform the Springboard Moonsault.

Had she just went for the simple pin, she might have been successful, But she chose to be showy than to do something practical. And while her head was still hurting, Li-Mei was gonna make her pay dearly for that, rolling out of the way so that the Greenette would have nothing but the canvas to land on!

Her head maybe hurting much but she looks to try and press on, the opportunity was right there for the taking! She scoots herself over, reaching to grab at Melody's green hair to lift it up so she could try and snugly wrap her legs around her head while she would prop herself up on her side with her elbow. If she can, the Oriental Rose attempting to grab on her ankle to lock in a figure four headscissor!

A moment before Melody was to impact Li-Mei's stomach with her frame, the Chinese woman would roll out of the way of the English woman's Moonsault, causing the greenette to land hard on the canvas!

"AAAAH! D-damnit...", she cursed. She had missed her Moonsault more than she liked to admit nowadays...perhaps she should try hitting it later in her matches...

Turning on her back, holding her hurt stomach, she tried to make her way back to her feet...only for the Oriental Rose to intervene in her plans, pull on her hair a bit before she snaked her legs around her head, as well as propping herself up for leverage, before finalizing her figure four headscizzor, pressing her her thigh into Melody's neck, blocking the flow of blood to her head!

Grunting, Melody tried to pull Li-Mei's leg from her neck to break the hold...without any luck, as the Oriental Rose helped herself with her arm in order to press her upper leg into her opponent's neck, making it a lot more difficult for her to make an opening.

Plan B then, Melody thought, as she tried to drag herself towards the ropes, using her right arm and both legs, using her left arm for just a small opening to make sure she didn't pass out on the way to the ropes!

She may have taken a nasty bump to the head but she still has her wits with her, the Oriental Rose moving just in time to evade the incoming moonsault from the Greenete, having her land on her stomach. And just like on her feet with her strikes, she can be quite dangerous on the ground, striking while she has the advantage, her legs snaking around the neck of Melody before locking in the figure four headscissor!

A little smirk couldn't be contained from Li-Mei's face as her thighs put the squeeze on Melody, feeling her hands on her thighs and trying to pry from the hold. Despite her figure, her legs are deceptively strong, showing some hidden muscle into her squeeze, her grip on her ankle being used to 'pull the lever' so to speak and torque the hold even more. A tight grip.

While one would try to keep the opponent away from the ropes, Li-Mei is still the type to play around with her opponent's, quite amused seeing Melody trying to move to the ropes, making a game out of it called: Rope Break or Knockout. "Oooohhh... Looks like your're getting clooose~" She purred, giving a few pulses of pressure on the squeeze while Melody would work to get to the ropes...

With Melody slowly getting closer and closer to the ropes, despite her opponent trying to increase the pressure of the hold as much as she possibly could, all the while taunting her, the greenette knew it would be just a few short moments before her foot would finally reach the ropes, and the ref would ask the Oriental Rose to uncoil her deadly legs to allow the woman to get out of the hold!

Her head was getting lighter and ligher, and there was now less than half a meter of distance between her leg the rope...

With one last hard pull, Melody would drag herself and Li-Mei to the edge of the ring, firmly putting her left foot on the bottom rope, in full view of the ref!

If one has the intentions of finishing the opponent as quickly as possible, then they would do all they can to stop them from finding means of escaping. For Li-Mei, the headscissor applied was only temporary. Although it would be funny if she managed to make the greenette tap out.

Though that would be less fun. Much better to play with the opponent and just have them exert themselves. The Oriental Rose didn't really need to make it any tighter on Melody, between the steady pressure and Melody using her energy to drag herself and Li-Mei near the ropes was doing it's job. Though the few pulses of pressure does drive Melody to really get to the ropes before she would find herself in la-la land.

Sadistic sounding as that may have been, once the British woman get her foot on the rope for a rope-break. "There you go~" She said so while sounding encouraging but with a twinge of disappointment in it. The ref beginning to count the Oriental Rose out and Li-Mei had to play ball. She would relent the hold on Melody, her legs releasing her and moving backwards.

Knowing it would take a while for Melody to rise up, Li-Mei would get her feet under her and push herself up to a vertical position and flicking her bluish-raven hair.

As she reached the bottom rope, Melody heard a remark from her opponent...in quite a sadistic and disappointed tone. As ref started counting Li-Mei out for the hold, Melody realized the weight of her opponent's words...if she could've, Li-Mei could've easily ended the match right there. She was simply toying with her in allowing the greenette to get her foot onto the rope.

That idea weighed down on her as the Oriental Rose released the hold, and allowed her to get to her feet. Li-Mei was a very dangerous opponent, and even if it wasn't her intention, she underestimated her...and it was not a mistake she was going to do again...

Which is why, once she was ready to continue, she hesitantly closed the distance between her and Li-Mei, out of fear of the woman catching her off guard into a different hold...

...and, if she managed to approach her opponent, she would attempt to swiftly launch a left hook to her jaw!
