The Wrights vs. The Rodriguezes - Family Tensions

Jessica Wright had a hard head. Not just figuratively, but literally.

Carmen knew this for a fact, because hitting the Violent Violet in the head wasn’t unlike striking a brick wall, even with the benefit of her gloves. A full boxing glove would’ve protected her from the impact, but the grappling mitts she had on weren’t quite up the task. She would have a date with a bucket of ice water when this match was through, win or lose.

But it would be worth it. Just for the feel of knocking the sense out of Jessica’s skull. Oh, she was looking forward to more of that.

Seeing their chance, Army called out towards his sister. ”Hey! Tag me in!”

Carmen just held up a finger and grabbed Jessica by the legs, beginning the arduous process of dragging her big, muscular, hulk of a body across the ring. As much as she wanted to get back to beating this woman up, she knew the first order of business was to get her far away from her brother.

That being said, she did make sure to give Jessica a few kicks in the side along the way. To keep her pliant. And out of spite.

The world was swimming. That was usually the case when someone got hit in the head twice, but Jessica honestly had a hard time believing that it was happening to her. When she felt her leg get grabbed, she had a premonition that it was not going to wind up ok for her. The few kicks to her side confirmed that simple truth. A long trail of sweat followed the Violent Violet as her carcass was dragged over to the corner where the male Rodriguez stood waiting.

James was not about to have that. The ref was watching Jessica and Carmen, which was a tactical mistake. While James was not exactly as dirty as his sister (and at the moment, he wondered who on earth fought dirtier than his sister) he lacked certain scruples. That was what he was taught. Both him and his sister. At the end of the day, fans won't remember who cheated. They don't put that on the cover of magazines. No, in the final tally, the only thing that really mattered was who was champion. And if it took bending a few rules to do so, then James was going to do it.

The aerial ace was quiet as a mouse as he slipped between the ropes. He shadowed the ref, making sure that he was directly behind them. It didn't really matter that his sister was in a bad position. He could make sure that she got out of it. One way or another.

While Jessica was not what anyone would call fat - particularly within her earshot - she wasn’t light, either, boasting a body that was brimming with muscles. Carmen was keenly aware of this fact as she dragged the woman along the mat, struggling along with every step.

It wasn’t a fun journey, but one that was worth the trip. While this was her first real tag match, she was familiar enough with them to know that they had certain little advantages, one of them she was keen on using.

She reached over and tagged Army, giving him a quick hit on the shoulder. ”Help me get her up.”

It only took him a second to put the pieces together, and he came on through the ropes right after that, taking one arm while held tight to the other. Together, they lifted Jessica up and hung her on the turnbuckle, wanting her to be in a nice place for what they had planned next.

James watched as his sister was strung up on the ropes. It was not a good look, not in the slightest. Especially not since her large breasts were now threatening to slip from their straining container. He prepared himself for what was going to happen next. The duo were probably going to do something that was very painful. Which meant that the Wrights were going to be that much further than winning the match. Still, he did not want to push his luck until both of them finally got in on the action.

Jessica, for what it was worth, was still trying to recover from her two head blows. Her strong legs were being placed were the Rodriguezes wanted them, and there was not a whole lot that she, or anyone else in the world, could really do about it. Quietly, the Violent Violet braced for impact.

Though they didn’t want to make tag teaming a regular thing, Carmen wanted Army to take this whole thing seriously, knowing it could be a good boost for their solo work if this was a strong outing. That meant giving it their A-game. That meant preparing for it. That meant working on real team up attacks, one of which they were about to try out. As good a time as any.

With Jessica up against the corner, Army ducked down, grabbed the ropes, and thrust her shoulder forward, slamming into her gut and hammering her into the turnbuckle. A hard move, one that put his strength and size to good use, but it was a way to set up for more punishment, too.

Only a scant second passed before he backed a couple of steps away and dropped to one knee...which made his back the perfect platform for Carmen to jump off of as she came running forward, vaulting towards the Violent Violet, and attempting to strike her with a flying knee to the face.

Army called it the ‘Double Tap’. Carmen called it ‘effective’.

Jessica had been in better situations in her life. Hell, she had been in better situations this evening. When her gut was slammed (quickly followed by her back slamming into the turnbuckle behind her) she did not feel so great. Lo and behold, that was only the appetizer for the dish of pain that was about to follow. Carmen, that bitch, came right after, bringing a knee to her face. The Violent Violet was seeing stars, and slumped to the floor. The force of the blow knocked her off of the turnbuckle, and meant that she was all but glued to the floor.

The crowd cheered. They did not really care about James, but they hated Jessica. So when they saw the Violent Violet clinging to consciousness, they thought that they had it made. After all, Jessica was not likely to be able to withstand this. The Double Trouble was effective, after all.

James did not know what to do. He felt like some rule was broken. And that meant he got to do whatever it was that popped into his brain, so that is precisely what he did. He leaned forward, and swung in a hook to Army's ear. It didn't really matter that he wasn't looking. At least, that is what he hoped.

Jessica, for what it was worth, was just trying to recover. The world had not stopped swimming, but she was finally able to breathe a little bit now, after having all of the wind knocked out of her.

And that would be success. Carmen would’ve been happy to make that move work on just about anyone, but it was doubly satisfying to take down the haughty Jessica with it. Something about this woman made the simple act of hammering her into a turnbuckle doubly satisfying.

With that little bit of theatre over, Carmen was ready to retreat back to the turnbuckle and let Army take over from there. As invigorating as that all was, she was still sore from the bruising that the big bruiser had put on her a moment ago, needed some time to get her bearings and catch her breath.

That was when James’ struck.

Army hadn’t noticed the guy, so when he came in and swung into her brother’s ear, the blow ook him off guard. He cried out and dropped to a knee near Jessica, shaking his head, stunned. She was too late to help him, but not too late to make James regret his mistake.

Carmen turned hard and came charging straight to James. No warning, no taunts, no preamble. She just stepped in before the referee could stop her and threw a hard right straight to the guy’s face, looking to knock him flat in one blow.

Something big crashed down near Jessica. She could not quite tell what it was but it had the immenseness of a human body. As much as she hoped that it was not James, there was a part of her that very much believed that it was. Which meant that her ass needed to start moving to bail his useless self out of yet another rough wrestling situation. The only problem was, the pain in her body was substantial, and slowed her movement. She made an attempt to get up, but an acute and searing ache halted any small progress that she could make.

James, on the other hand, was immobile, but not for pain. No, that would be coming very soon, but it had not quite hit him yet. The second that he hit Army with that effective yet very much illegal shot, he realized what he had done. Sure, he had taken Army out of the picture, but the cost was quite a high one. In his blow, he had invited anarchy. Now, there were no rules and that was very much not a good place to be when you had an angry Carmen looking you straight in the face.

Carmen was a thunderbolt, and a meteor struck James, right in the face. The stupefied James had little chance to deal with it. The blow sent him flat down on his back. His head was swimming, and his eyes were closed.

In a way, Carmen could feel for James. His sister was in danger, and like any good sibling, he had come to her rescue, hoping to help her out of a jam. Noble of him. Heroic. Courageous, even. She had to admire that, if nothing else.

But it was also foolhardy in the extreme, because, admiration or not, Carmen had every intention of making him regret the move.

The punch he took was just the start of his woes. When he was down, she gave him a few kicks in the side, forcing him to roll and pushing him under the ropes and to the outside. It was clear she’d have to keep hammering him to keep him off Army’s back, but she needed to clear the ring while she did that.

While she went about her business, Army went about his, focusing on Jessica once more. He reached out and grabbed two handful of her purple hair, establishing a tight grip before he started to rise up to his feet and pull her along for the ride. ”All right, then.” He grunted as he stood tall. ”Let’s finish up, here?”

James just wanted to lie there and recover. It wouldn't have to be anything too grand, really. Just hugging the mat for a little bit, getting his wind back, and then getting back into it. Was that really too much to ask? James did not think so, but it appeared that someone who was standing did. A few kicks shepherded him gently outside of the main area of the ring, and James rolled until the kicks ended. There, he would finally get a chance to recover. He put his hand on the rope, and breathed in.

Jessica was trying to recover, in her own way. She felt her strength and her anger coming back to her, which propelled her to get up. The only problem was, someone was co-opting that, and making that decision for her. She appreciated the help, but she did not appreciate the fact that her purple hair was the crutch by which Jessica would find her feed. Her face twisted as she steadied her legs. Words came at her, but they did not land anywhere.

In an act of defiance, Jessica pushed the person in front of her. The world was moving now, and she could not quite tell who it was. It did not really matter. The only thing that mattered was buying herself more time until the ref came, James got up, or she recovered more. She did not really care at this point. The only thing that mattered was time, which was slowly ticking and tocking by.
