The Wrights vs. The Rodriguezes - Family Tensions

Okay, Army could admit it: Jessica was a little strong.

Fairly strong.

Quite strong.

Really strong.

Ridiculously strong for a woman, definitely.

He’d certainly never expected her to be weak, she was built like a goddamn shotputter. But he’d been working under the assumption that him being a guy would automatically give him the leg up. Not so.

She forced him back a few steps right off the bat, getting him halfway to the ropes befor he slammed his feet down and put a stop to the forward march. Muscles bulged, veins popped, and it was taking everything he had just to force a stalemate. Not bad. ”Wow, fuck.” He made a noise that was half-laugh, half-grunt. ”You workout a little, huh?”

Amusing as this was, even Army could recognize that it was grandstanding, that it would get him exactly nowhere in the long run. So he decided to break things up in the starkest way possible - by jerking his head forward and slamming their skulls together, creating a head-shaking impact, a rough meeting of the minds.

Jessica did not mind fucking guys. Hell, she could not say that she would particularly mind fucking this guy in particular, judging from just his body. One of the facts that she appreciated most when she dipped her toe in the priapic pool was the fact that dudes were usually pretty quiet, which made her all the more frustrated that this guy did not know when to shut his fucking yap. Of course she worked out. That was obvious from the very moment that she had appeared from the staging area, and it was even more obvious now.

The Violent Violet did not think about jawing back. No, she was watching this guy like a hawk. From the very get-go, she wagered that she could overpower this guy. The guy would become aware of that fairly soon, which meant that he would try something skeezy. If anyone was going to do anything sketchy, it was going to be Jessica, so the Violent Violet was on the lookout for any movement at all to indicate Army's movement.

His head moved back a little. Jessica saw it. It was the slightest movement, but her reptialian eyes discerned it despite the thousands of people behind him, despite the sweat dripping down her brow, despite the bright lights shining far above them. The second he moved his head back, Jessica whipped into action. She moved her body to the side, and tried to push Army forward into a fake judo throw.

Her timing would have to be impeccable, and she knew that. Even a moment's delay would send her falling to the floor as their heads collided. But if she could pull of this reversal, she would be given a whole new lease on this match. One where she was very much in the driver's seat.

Carmen looked on, quiet and keen, not even bothering to cheer Army on. Not that it mattered much at this point, since he hadn’t done anything yet worth praising or chastising. No, for now, her focus was on Jessica and solely.

She’d been curious about this one from the start, and she was starting to realize that attention wasn’t misplaced. Jessica was a bruiser, clearly, anyone who’d followed her career or watched a match with her in could tell that after two seconds. But it wasn’t just how strong she was, but how she used that strength.

She could’ve just gone toe-to-toe with Army. Maybe she’d have been able to force him all the way back, maybe not. Either way, she had a smarter path to take. ”Hm.”

In a flash, Army found himself getting flipped over and dropped flat on his butt, taken down with embarrassing ease in a flash, his own strength turned against him. It was a deft move, one that took better timing than he’d expected from this woman, but it was hardly damaging. He would be able to get up in a moment. What Jessica would do about it was a whole different question.

Jessica narrowed her eyes. She was not some wide-eyed rookie who just happened to get lucky. No, Jessica could be terribly methodical when she wanted to be. Her movements were quick, concerted, and effective. Jessica planted the guy on the mat, and she knew that she only had a scant few moments to act on the advantage that she had gained for herself. Army did not have all those muscles and experience to just fuck around.

So Jessica moved. She went down to the mat as quickly as she could. Jessica reached for that nice, big, meaty arm of Army's and snapped herself into position. Before the match, she had analyzed everything very carefully. Worst case scenario was a knockout punch, according to everything that she had seen. And the greatest chance she had of vitiating any particular strike was to rob Army and Carmen of their ability to get a blow in.

Which is why Jessica went for an armbar. She went about her movements with ruthless efficiency. The time for pomp and circumstance would be later. After they had won. But crossing that particular bridge was going to take a while, and Jessica was going to do whatever it took to get there. Even if it was a horribly painful armbar.

And now Carmen’s suspicions were confirmed. Jessica wasn’t just a big bitch, wasn’t just a strong bitch, she was  big, strong, smart bitch. That could be troublesome.

Not only did she have the acumen to drop Army in a heart, but she had the wit to capitalize on that in an instant. He’d only begun to rise before she shut that effort down, dropping over him, seizing his arm and going for one of the most common - and effective - wrestling holds: the armbar.

The pain surged through Army’s arm in an instant, getting a genuine howl out of him in record time. This move was effective enough when a normal person used it, but when you had Jessica’s strength backing it up? Yeah, big problem. Kicking, squirming, bucking soon followed, and he even made a try at rolling over and stacking her - not too likely with her pillar-legs, but worth a shot.

Carmen meanwhile, put a single foot on the bottom rope, looking between Jessica and her brother. She didn’t want to be the first one to intervene, but if she had to in order to save her brother’s best weapons...

Army knew what she was doing. He was trying to get out of this. At this juncture, it was unlikely that she could get a tap from him, and she idly wondered if he knew that. It seemed that he did recognize that she was trying to drain him of all of the strength that he possessed in his arm. For this, Jessica earned some pretty wild countermeasures. The Violent Violet anticipated this, and did her best to sustain the hold. Army was quite strong, but for every move there was a counter move.

James watched on with boredom. He had grown weary at staring at the woman in the far corner, and was now focused on the action at hand. Jessica had the dude in an armbar, which seemed just fine to him. He rested his chin on his fist, and was leaning over now. Suddenly, he got an idea.

"Hey sis. Tag me in!" He shouted.

At that moment, Jessica was not entirely sure if she should break Army's arm, or James's.

Army and Jessica wrestled about on the floor. Her, cranking his arm in way nature never intended. Him, struggling to keep his precious bones in their proper place. He was making a good effort, but the hard fact was that this move would have been hard to get out of if Jessica had only been half as strong as she was. Could he make his way to the ropes? Maybe. Could he do so intact? Less likely.

So, yes. Army was on the floor, Jessica had him good, and was about ten or so seconds away from destroyed 1/4th of their best advantages in this match. Now was the time to intervene. Army would hate that decision, but he could deal.

Grabbing the top rope, Carmen vaulted her way into the ring, landing nearby the struggling pair. A quick step was all she needed to close in before the referee could stop her, and she used that time to give Jessica a swift kick in the side, attempting to make her break the hold.

Jessica was looking over at James. She knew that Army was going through his machinations, and if she looked too long, she would give him an advantage that she could not take back. But there was something very important that she had to attend to. See, she had to give James a death glare that would bore in his soul. Only then would he understand that when she was busy, he could not say stupid shit. The evil look would inform him that he had better keep his impulses in check.

Then an unknown and overwhelming force struck her back. Jessica released the hold, and turned. There was Carmen, looking down at her. She looked over at the referee, who had only just reached that Latin woman and was in the process of trying to hold her back.

Immediately, Jessica let go of the hold and stormed off after the ref. "What sort of two-bit fucking ref are you, letting this piece of shit all the way across the ring, letting her get a kick in on me?" Jessica asked, knowing full well that she was going to be doing something that was very similar in the near future.

Jessica tried to reach over the referee, and push Carmen. It was not going to be that effective, probably, but there was only so much that she could do int he circumstances. And she had to get her 'honor' back.

Jessica was ticked off. Of course she was ticked off. She had a right to be ticked off.

Army was ticked off, too. Never one to like taking help.

Carmen imagined James was none too pleased about his sister getting kicked, either.

None of that mattered, though - it would’ve been stupid for her to just sit back and let Army get taken apart like that, especially when they were this early on in the match. The right thing to do, the smart thing. She didn’t expect the crowd to like it, though, and she wasn’t surprised when Jessica shoved her

”I’m going, I’m going.” With her hands raised and her mission accomplished, Carmen started to retreat across the ring, giving the ring back to Jessica. Army had taken to the time to get back to his feet, but he was still nursing his arm, leaning in the corner as he stretched it out.

Jessica marched right past the Army on the way back to her corner. She was furious, and she knew that. Jessica felt like she was going to clock this referee, which was probably going to be an automatic DQ. The Violent Violet did not want to bow out of this match this early, because there was still a lot of damage left to do. She flipped off Army as she walked pass, and turn to give a finger to the referee before she tagged her brother in.

James leaped over the top rope. He was pretty excited, to be honest. His heart was pumping with joy, as opposed to anger like Jessica's. The aerial ace wanted to get in there and start mixing it up.

The purple-haired man tore across the ring at lightning. His eyes were focused on Army, who was now standing. Don't get hit. His sister's words rung in his ears, and he did not ignore them. The aerial ace figured that the best defense was a good offense, and he was going to do something that was distinctly him.

With no regard for his own safety, James leaped into the air. He went for a flying clothesline, throwing his shoulder forward with everything that he had.
