Shake the Earth - Artemis Armstrong vs. Great Kali

Wonder if this is how Kali felt in the not so distant past.

People could chant all they wanted for Artemis to stand again. It was only going to happen when she was up to it. It was hard to get a grasp for just how painful this was unless you were already in it. The pain working its way through your head. The weight building in those tired muscles. The horrible anticipation of a strike that is most definitely coming any second now. Yeah, she’d much rather be on the other side of this position.

Oh. And the breeze flowing between your legs. Couldn’t forget that, even if it was new. She knew the Indian woman would go for the shorts sooner or later, and it looked like sooner aligned more with whatever malicious plans she had forming in that dark mind of hers. It was fairly humiliating. Probably not as much as it was for Kali, though. If she wanted to get under an Armstrong’s skin, she’d have to try a lot harder than that.

Although, flinging them into the audience was a good move.

“Gah…” Not like she could do anything about it. Ah well, fair’s fair. “I swear to god, if those end up on eBay, I’m coming after you.”

Still clutching the back of her head, Artemis reeled her leg back and threw it towards Kali, looking to make some distance with a push kick. It was a simple kick, not that fastest and probably wouldn’t do much damage, but it was the best she could do. For the moment, at least.

Hearing Artemis' comment, Great Kali almost broke character and chuckled. "Heh... you worry about the silliest of thing..." Then, she noticed the former actress drawing her leg back before she went to attempt to kick at her. She grunted a little, getting herself pushed away by the kick, but there wasn't much strength in the kick, and the Indian woman quickly regained her balance after being pushed away by the former actress.

Instead of coming back at Artemis, Great Kali would wait for her opponent to get back on her feet. This time, she would make sure the blonde would pay for the humiliation that she had to endure earlier, and the vengeance of the goddess of destruction was very destructive indeed.

She did say silly things sometimes. Couldn’t really do anything about it. Stupid quips ran in the family.

Even being forced naked in the middle of a packed arena broadcast live to the entire world on prime time didn’t do a thing about it. Her eyes glanced to the side to witness her last scrap of clothing disappear into the hordes of ravenous hands. Yeah, those weren’t getting out of the place in one piece. Probably wouldn’t stop it from being sold online, but hey: one man’s trash…

That was the last thing she should be worrying about, of course, and she knew it. Artemis should have been worrying about Kali. Or maybe not, considering the woman was fine with backing off and not pressing her advantage. It was confusing for a second until the former actress caught the glare pulsing from the woman’s eyes. There was some serious wrath coming her way. She had to shut that down. Now.

Artemis pushed herself up to her feet, dashing towards the woman. Linking her hands together, she’d raise them high above her head as she charged close, swinging down her clasped hands right onto Kali’s head. Not the most subtle move in the world, but her speed may have been enough to flatten the Indian goddess into the canvas.

Anger could be quite a motivator for Great Kali to stay focused. When she saw Artemis coming at her way, the Indian goddess would prepare herself to move, getting into position. The former actress was going to launch an attack by clasping her hands together so that she could swing the hands right onto Kali's head. She knew that the blow would be devastating if she managed to hit her with it.

But Great Kali was prepared. She calculated for the exact moment to move, seeing Artemis swinging down both hands onto her. At that exact moment, Great Kali would move out of its way, quickly evading the attack as she moved to the side of the former actress.

From this position, Great Kali would like to target Artemis' side, launching a kick right at her right ribs. She was looking to deal a damage from this attempt, and a kick to the ribs would certainly hurt no matter how strong someone could be.

There wasn't really much of a plan here. She just assumed that Kali would be winded enough go be taken by surprise. She was a hard woman, sure, but Artemis was confident that one good overhead swipe would have been enough to keep her down for a while. If she could get her opponent on the ground just one more time.

Wouldn't be so easy, as it turns out. As if she'd told her about it a minute in advance, Kali sidestepped the crusher and kicked out straight into the muscular blonde’s exposed side. It was a real testament to her strength that even though Kali had been rendered stark naked, she could still throw a kick that could even make an amazon yelp in pain. She stumbled to the side a step, grimacing from the pain at the smaller woman.

“Cheeky little-”

Artemis grunted as she used her left arm to rub the opposite side of her body, numbing out the pain as best she could. Simple as can be, she’d swing her right fist out in a mad attempt to clock Kali before she was none the wiser. Didn’t matter how hard she got hit. So long as she matched the Indian beauty tit-for-tat, Artemis was sure that she would come out on top. She could trade blows all day.

Great Kali smirked when her attack hit the mark. Seeing Artemis trying to counter with a hook of her own, the Indian goddess would lean back, dodging the attack. Then, she would lower herself while getting herself under the former actress before she launched herself up, using the force of her propelling herself up to deliver an uppercut.

The uppercut was aimed under Artemis' chin, hoping that the blow could at least leave her stunned, which would allow Great Kali to try dealing more damage on her. From what she had seen so far, the former actress was a resilient woman who could trade blows with the Indian goddess, whose stiffness could bring lesser women to blissful unconsciousness. Great Kali considered this to be a challenge, planning to see how much Artemis could take before she fell down.

Except that one. She couldn’t trade that blow all day.

Kali seemed to have gotten nimbler in these past few moments. Not sure whether it was the adrenaline or the anger doing that. Either way, the former actress was looking to shut this down before things got too carried away. Losing the momentum this quickly wasn’t going to bode well for her chances of coming out on top of this. But with the way this woman was weaving around her strikes, there wasn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell.

It felt as though the uppercut had taken her off her feet. An ugly crack echoed across the ring as Artemis’ gaze fell to the side, darting left and right as she tried her best to focus back on her opponent. Her vision went a bit hazy and the world lost a bit of sound. Her knees started to wobble and before she knew it, she was falling down to one knee.

She ran a hand along her jaw, feeling out whatever damage may have been done. Didn’t feel like anything had popped loose, but it was thumping like a son of a bitch. The muscular blonde used her free hand to help try and push herself back up to two feet. Staying down wasn’t smart, even less so with someone like Kali in the ring. Someone with revenge on her mind and a killer strike behind her fists.

The satisfying crack from her successful attempt at landing her uppercut made Great Kali smile. Seeing Artemis wobbling after taking the hit right at her jaw would prompt the Indian woman to continue with her momentum as she would then attempt to grab the former actress by the sides of her head, pulling the head down onto her waiting knee, going for a vicious knee strike right onto her forehead.

All the while, Great Kali was smiling gleefully, imagining all sorts of things she wanted to do on the powerfully-built body of Artemis, especially after overpowering her physically. And certainly, with her body being wholly naked made the Indian goddess feel more motivated to bring this match to a satisfying end.

CRACK!

Artemis wasn’t exactly sure what she was feeling right about now. She had been on a roll for a good while now and had that suddenly turn on her. Fine, that was bound to happen eventually, but what mattered was the recovery. How she was going to bounce back from all this.

Well, she certainly was bouncing back. Everyone could see that.

After Kali’s sharp knee collided with her forehead, drawing plenty of winces from the audience. Her eyelids fluttered a couple of time as her pupils traveled upward, her eyes rolling backward and nearly disappearing into her head. The sun-kissed blonde fell back, her arms splayed to her sides after hitting the canvas with a resounding thump. The world had blurred around her. For a moment, everything sounded muffled and distant. She tried moving, but her heavy body just wasn’t having it. There was still a bit of energy left in her, somewhere, somehow, but for the life of her, Artemis couldn’t tease it out.

Finally, the beast of a woman, Artemis, was down, thanks to Great Kali's vicious knee strike to her forehead. Walking around her body, going in front of her legs, Great Kali would bend down in order to grab the former actress' ankles, lifting her legs up before attempting to roll her over onto her stomach in order to put her in a Boston crab. It was just a basic move, but from what Kali was planning to do to her, there would be nothing basic about it.

Pulling back both legs, clamping them under her armpits as she would sit on her back, Great Kali would apply the hold on Artemis before she let go of her left leg, freeing her right arm, going for a single-legged Boston crab. With her right hand free, she would move it down to the crotch of her for and start to stroke the exposed slit, teasing it while pulling her right leg back.
