Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
No matter how hard she struggled, no matter how hard she tried to pry those damnably strong thighs off her neck with her uninjured hand, Yuki was unable to even make those thighs budge, and the pressure was starting to get to her. And then, Manami went to shift the hold into a triangle choke, keeping the pressure that prevented Yuki from breathing. The lack of air was starting to take its toll on Yuki as everything seemed to start to fade away, her consciousness slipping.
Struggling to pry Manami's legs off of her feebly, Yuki was like a fish out of water, opening her mouth in her attempt to breathe, but due to the pressure from the triangle choke, she couldn't get the air that she desperately wanted. Still, she still refused to tap out, consciously stopping her hand from slapping on Manami's legs. Just like what Manami wanted, the pale face of the cerulean-haired girl had gained some color and she had an expression of someone one would expect to be on the verge of unconsciousness.
There was nothing she could do at the moment, with her being trapped in the jaws of a ferocious wolf. Her struggle weakened over time, and it's only a matter of time before her struggle would cease.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Oh. That was a good look for her face.
The red color made for an interesting contrast for the girl’s azure hair and complimented her determined, crimson pupils well. If Yuki were ever one try on makeup, Manami could certainly vouch for one that would touch up on the blush. Such a cute face. It should make use of every bit of color gifted upon it. Once that color faded, however...
Well, Manami didn’t think it was possible for Yuki to get any paler. The heiress’s snow white skin had grown noticeably pallid. It was almost time. A gentle smile graced Manami’s lips as she ran her finger just beneath the girl’s left eye, pulling away the pupil and witnessing the life being sucked away from her little by little. The lights were fading and Yuki was on her way out once and for all. Her efforts winding down, eyes dimming, and her attempts to break free bearing no fruit. This match was as good as over.
But not for the Wolf Girl.
With no warning whatsoever, Manami unwrapped her legs from the triangle choke, standing up without a second look over Yuki’s gasping form. With calm, careful steps, she walked away from the incapacitated martial artist and looked out into the audience. The wolf was merely met with a sea of perplexed expressions and hesitant jeers. Should they be mad? Happy? Relieved? It was all so sudden. There appeared no sense in any of it for someone so clearly determined to win.
But for Manami, this went beyond a simple desire to win. Just as she had managed to light a flame within Yuki, the heiress of snow had managed to kindle something deep inside of her as well. An innate hunger It overtook her very being and controlled her very mind. All at once, the She-Wolf’s hackles stood up on end. A wicked smile grew about her face as she turned to face her adversary once again, pupils burning embers into the miserable waif.
“Get up! Keep dancing!”

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki thought that she was about to lose her consciousness as her life was choked out by Manami's submission hold. Everything turned blurry, even the sounds. This would be another humiliating defeat for her, another defeat that she wouldn't be able to live down. It would be another mark of shame in her record, the concrete proof of her having no place in the squared circle. Everything turned darker and darker and-
The sudden lack of pressure on her neck was startling for Yuki, and when she instinctively gasped for fresh air, she was hit by the sudden nauseousness. She coughed, sputtered and almost vomited on the spot. Luckily, she was able to control herself just in time to stop herself from vomiting, or else she might have added another indignity in her less-than-illustrious career as a professional wrestler. Writhing on the mat, coughing and wheezing, Yuki would try to roll over onto her side and then onto her front, where she slowly pushed herself up on all fours. She could hear what Manami said, but her head was in a mess thanks to her opponent's hold earlier.
Yuki herself wasn't looking good, certainly inelegant and embarrassing. Still trying to steady her breath after being deprived of it for a while, Yuki would try to look at Manami, eyes unfocused but still filled with defiance. Her coughing even caused her to buckle under her weight, making her drop right on her chest. Simply put, Yuki was looking pretty pitiful at the moment.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
What was she doing? What on Earth did she think she was doing?
And here she thought her opponent was trying so desperately to break free from her grasp. Manami had expected the azure heiress to scramble to her feet. Upon seeing Yuki merely fall back to her feet, the crazed smile on the wolf’s lips dissipated into nothing, replaced by a slight frown of disappointment and concealed ire. Yuki’s endurance was pitiful. She was pitiful.
How dare she waste this courtesy she’d been given. Sprawling on the floor like some whelp. What happened to the fire in her eyes? The determination shining through her actions? Something churned in the Wolf Girl’s stomach.
In the calmest demeanor she could manage thus far, Manami stepped forward toward the choking heiress. Standing beside her strewn form, the Wolf Girl would raise her foot from off the ground, letting it hang in the air for one long moment, eyeing her prey as she gasped and sputtered about on the floor. The next instant, she slammed her foot down onto Yuki’s wrist, digging her heel into the damaged tendons and tender flesh.
The wasn’t the end, of course. It was simply meant to stir Yuki to life. Then, she had to suffer. Realize the consequences of her weakness.
Manami ground her heel into the damaged wrist, wanting to stir the wounded girl as much as possible. Once Yuki jerked her head back up, Manami would reach down and seize her throat, clamping down on her windpipe. Slowly, she’d lean down, moving her foot to kneel down directly in front of her prey, gazing directly into her eyes. She held this gaze for a second. Just a second to see the flash in her eyes...before slapping her with an open palm across the cheek, the resounding smack echoing across the arena.
“Stand up. Or I’ll take the other one.”
With a huff, she’d release the girl’s throat and stand tall before her, looking down with an indignant glare and counting the seconds until her destruction. Five...four...three...

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki's mind was a mess. Her rational thinking that she secretly boasted as something that she considered to be her gift, was no longer there. The only thing that drove her at the moment was her desire to survive, her desire to salvage any shred of dignity she had left. She could barely keep herself from breaking down, knowing that she had already embarrassed herself enough in front of these people.
And then, as she struggled, Manami came over to her and stomped on her injured wrist, and Yuki's eyes widened as pain shot up. "AAAAHHHH!!!" She screamed out in pain and screamed out even more as the sadistic girl dug her heel into her wrist, making it hurt even more.
Looking up, Yuki then got her throat seized by Manami, and her windpipe was squeezed by her hand. Letting out a rattled gasp, Yuki could do nothing but look into the predatory eyes of her opponent. And then, she took a slap across her cheek, and she let out a weak whimper.
After being released, she dropped on her front. Struggling to keep herself from sobbing, Yuki would try to push herself up again, forcing herself to get back on her feet, but before she could even push herself on her feet, she buckled under her weight again and slumped on her front, landing on her breasts first. Truly a pathetic sight to behold.
"Uuuuh... *sniff*... nnngh..." a soft sniffle came out as she tried again, probably to no avail.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
..two, one.
Yuki fell for the second time, making the wolf furrow her brow as the pit in her stomach deepened. While there were plenty of onlookers encouraging the martial artist to rise, Manami certainly wasn’t one of them. For her, the fact that she had to show sympathy should have been more than enough. The humiliation of it should have spurred Yuki to rise. To prove herself. To deny weakness the chance at her. Alas, this was her fate.
The wolf had done all she could. She’d given more than enough chances and was content to look at her disheveled state with the utmost displeasure brewing within her. She even caught the glimmer in the girl’s eyes, a light shine that seemed to coat her crimson pupils. Were those...tears?
Disgusting.
She took a strong step forward and lifted the girl up by her azure locks.
“What are you doing?” The tone was harsh and biting. She noticed the sorrow in her eyes and the flame dwindling from her once fierce gaze. Manami’s glare relaxed.
“I should have known better. Truly, I should have. The strong posture, the bold words, the fleeting determination. I’ve seen it all before, Yuki Onna.” Letting go of the girl’s hair, she instead clutched the sides of her head tightly, kneeling down and narrowing her sharp gaze into the weeping girl’s eyes. “I told you already. I see right through you. You’re just an incompetent martial artist pretending to be a real fighter. I have to admit: you maintain the illusion well by only winning beneath the mid-card.” She tightened her grip. “Until you meet someone capable, that is. I’ve exposed you to the world, weakling. So go ahead. Keep maintaining the delusion that you’re actually strong. That you can prove your adversaries wrong some day. But you will always know the truth, just as I do.” She leaned forward and gave a whisper close to the girl’s ear. “You’re nothing.”
Bringing her knee back, Manami would send a strike right into the bridge of the heiress's nose. As her opponent fell back, she’d merely brush her hair back and soak in the pleas and jeers from the audience. The crowd begged for the struggling young woman to stand up and fight, to defend some semblance of her honor. The Wolf Girl had a far more appealing idea. She took a couple steps over to the woman’s side, lifted her foot up, and slammed it down onto her face, forcing Yuki’s head to the side and grinding her face into the canvas.
“Squeal like a pig.” Her voice stayed cold and rigid as she pressed her foot further down. “Beg for this pathetic embarrassment you call a career to not end here and now. Cry for mercy like the whelp you know you are.”

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki moaned out in pain as Manami grabbed a handful of her azure locks and lifted her up. She listened to her rebuke and scathing words which hurt more than those painful submissions and strikes. She tried to deny her, tried to say something that she was wrong, but no words came out of her mouth other than a pitiful whimper. Yuki had hit another low this time, breaking whatever self-confidence that she had at the moment.
And the words that Manami whispered to her ear dealt the finishing blow, crushing her belief in herself and her self-esteem along the way. She couldn't deny what Manami said to her, because those words might as well be the truth.
When Manami was done, she delivered a hard knee right on the bridge of Yuki's nose, and she recoiled back and landed on her back. Whimpering in pain, she writhed on the mat, bringing a hand on her nose. And then, Manami added insult to the injury by stomping on her head, forcing her head to the side and grinding her face against the mat.
At this point, Yuki had no strength left to fight back. Even so, while her resolve might be broken, but there was something inside her, an ember, still flaring with heat. It was weakening, yes, but it was still there. Her broken resolve could be fixed over time, even though she was definitely defeated this time around. So, while the only logical thing to do here was to beg for mercy and submit, Yuki refused to do so on subconscious level. Weakly, she brought a hand, her injured hand, right to the ankle of her enemy and feebly try to pull it off of her in her desperate attempt to stop Manami from pinning down her head with her foot. It was a futile attempt, but an attempt regardless.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Embers could burn all they wanted. Without kindling, they are merely an afterthought. Frail lights which dance for but a moment longer before they are ultimately extinguished by the ceaseless wind.
Some were just more...tenacious than others.
Why did things always have to be this way? No matter where she went, no matter how large their pride or how strong their bodies, they always had to bite back until the very last. Even when the inevitable end was practically in sight, they still carried on as though they could cheat their fate. As though her opponent had risen above herself in the past minute she’d spent wallowing in her own pathetic misery.
Here she was, attempting to give Yuki an easy way out of her pitiful dilemma, and she had the gall to throw it right back in her face. It demanded retribution.
Manami merely looked down with an indignant glare towards the martial artist as she weakly pushed back against her heel. A careless mistake on her part. All it took was a simple turn of the heel, and the Wolf Girl would press down. Her foot slid off the pale woman’s face, as if scraping muck from the bottom of her shoes, and pressed it back down onto the injured wrist.”
“If you’re that eager to stand, then go right ahead.” She’d let the woman writhe in pain for a moment longer, content to allow her to weigh the futility of her situation. However, she wouldn’t accept a verbal submission. Yuki had her chance, and she squandered it, just like the rest of her career.
“Stand up, Yuki-san…” She reached down and lifted Yuki up by her collar onto her wobbling legs. “...and die on your two feet.”
That was the only warning she would give before meeting Yuki with a strong uppercut, cutting into her jaw to send her stumbling back to the ropes.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki's effort to stop Manami from grinding her head under her boot was squashed as the Wolf Girl slid her boot off her face and stomped on her wrist again, causing her to cry out in pain some more. Her defeat was already imminent, but she still refused to surrender. As she felt her wrist being stepped on by her foe, she could hear her words, and she could only let out soft whimpers in response.
And then, Manami went to grab her by her collar and haul her up, getting her on her feet. Standing on her wobbling legs, Yuki would then fall towards her opponent, but before she could fall into her, she took a vicious uppercut right into her jaw, sending her stumbling to the ropes.
"Gaahaa... haa..." Yuki shook her head, draping her arms over the top rope. Without the ropes, she might end up falling back into the mat. She really looked pathetic at the moment, her long cerulean hair disheveled and her face partially covered by her bang. And while she did not express out her submission to her opponent, she would remain at the ropes, keeping herself steady as she looked at Manami with her glazed crimson eyes.
When she let go of the ropes, she buckled under her weight and almost fell. Panting heavily, she would step away from the ropes, head bowed down, but from the look of it, she had no intention to surrender just yet. The ref even worriedly came over next to her, asking her if she was fine to continue the match, and she gave the ref no response as she continued looking at Manami.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Limp and frail. So pathetic. Like a lamb corralled for the slaughter. How Yuki Onna could think herself to be anything more than a repugnant waste of talent was beyond Manami. All of that grace. All of that resolve that only a truly determined competitor could muster. Taken to the wind and vanished along with any promise Yuki could have held for anyone.
There had to be something beyond all of this. Manami desperately attempted to convince herself of that with little results. It had been an interesting bout for so long. The wolf had half mind to take this one under her tutelage. The tears, however….she had no need for one such as that. No person did. No federation. No arena. It wasn’t simply pathetic. It was a disgrace.
Crying. She dared to call herself a fighter.
The Wolf Girl merely looked on with an indignant glare as the blue-haired woman continued to test her patience with her seemingly endless bravado, ignoring the referee and looking on as if anything would change.. It was making her sick to her stomach. The fact that she felt some degree of promise - perhaps even respect - for this waif was practically turning her green with disgust.
“I told you to die on your two feet.” She began to walk over to the buckling waif. “If you can’t even do that properly, you should just keel over and wither away.”
Stopping just a couple paces short of her prey, Manami would lift her leg and shoot a kick straight towards Yuki’s midsection, looking to bury it in her stomach. The moment she managed that, she would spin around and take hold of the martial artists head before dipping forward, looking to send her flat on her rear with an over-the-shoulder throw.
Yuki’s display of insufferable courage had gone on long enough. Manami couldn’t stand being around her longer than she needed to. She was going to end the heiress here and now. Up close and personal.
