Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki's mind was in disarray. Her whole body was aching from the suplex earlier, and it took her too long to recover. Due to her weakened state, she was unable to stop Manami as the cruel wrestler then stepped on the loose strands of her azure hair on the mat before lifting Yuki's head up, locking her eyes with her while causing intense pain on her scalp. "Hnnghh..." Yuki groaned, trying to resist the pain before she glared back at Manami, her crimson eyes filled with determination and defiance. She might be not as durable as other girls in AFW, but she would try to soldier on, enduring the overwhelming odds.
When she was finally relieved from the pain, Yuki tried to focus on recovering. But then, she heard Manami's words before she looked at the Wolf Girl grabbing her arm and putting her into a painful armbar. "N-no-bhuuu!!!" Yuki got the wind knocked out of her as Manami slammed her heels hard onto her stomach and chin, and before she could shake off the pain, she began to feel the pressure from the hold, and her eyes widened as she began to experience true pain.
"HNNNNGAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Yuki screamed out in agony as her arm was wrenched beyond its limit in the armbar. The pain was too much that she thrashed, slamming her boots on the mat due to the intense pain. Tears started to appear in her eyes as the sheer agony started to overwhelm her mind. It felt like her arm had been torn off from the sheer pressure, and it was slowly driving her crazy.
The sheer brutality in the ring had left most of the audience stunned. It felt like Manami was trying to outright murder the poor girl rather than forcing her to submission.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
What powerful lungs. Manami was finding herself reminded of her debut. As embarrassingly short as it was, it was quite fun. Maybe she could muster some entertainment out of this one.
Yuki’s cries echoed across the arena. Half the audience seemed to have been taken into shock by how quickly this match had turned around. Even worse was the ferocity of it all. The hold wasn’t anything special, even if the power and technique was there. But those screams. Those horrible screams. It rattled you to the core. Made your blood run as cold. It spoke volumes about the wolf’s intent for not only this match, but her opponent as well. It would be relentless.
Manami tightened the hold around the girl’s arm. Where had that tenacity gone now? That hardened resolve to rise above herself? To prove her opponent wrong no matter what? Clearly she was gave her opponent too much credit. They were nothing more than banal promises and empty threats. Such a shame.
“You’re not going to escape something so simple? How disappointing, Yuki-san. Maybe I should do you a favor.” She gave the wrist a firm squeeze, the corners of her lips twitching into a smile from the anticipation. “I’ll take your wrist. You can leave this industry with an excuse. You won’t have to run away from it. Would you like that, Yuki? Hm?”
The Wolf Girl let her hands travel up to Yuki’s hand, keeping the pressure down on her arm as she locked their palms together. Slowly, she began to twist the waif’s wrist, feeling the tendons excite and bones grate against the friction. A slight gasp escaped Manami’s lips from the sensation. She wanted to hear more from this girl. A scream. A plea. A curse. It hardly mattered to the wolf.
Whatever could possibly satiate her, she would be happy with.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Her mind was in disarray as the pain overwhelmed her, and her other hand was already moving as if preparing to immediately tap out, though she was still coherent enough that she was able to stop herself from desperately slapping her palm onto the canvas. But, the expression of hers was that of pure agony, with her trying her hard to endure the excruciating pain from the hold. She continued crying out in pain, shutting her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks as she attempted to soldier on.
Yuki knew that she had to do something, or else she would definitely lose, whether she wanted to tap out or not. Hearing Manami's cruel words almost made her falter, but she held on, biting her own lower lip in her effort to keep fighting the pain.
But, she could only keep enduring for so long. When Manami told her that she would like to take her wrist, Yuki snapped her eyes open and directed her gaze at the Wolf Girl with the look of pure terror. Yuki had always been a cool-headed girl, always keeping herself calm in most situation. But, the girl who was currently torturing her was terrifying. She needed to get away from her as far as she could, no matter what.
When Manami started applying some pressure on her wrists, Yuki frantically shook her head, frightened beyond belief. She could feel it. Her opponent was trying to actually cripple her, and she was helpless against such action. In her desperation, she slammed her feet onto the canvas repeatedly, panicking and scared stiff. While acting frantically, Yuki would try to lash up her leg, attempting to hit Manami's head with a kick. This was no longer about overwhelming her opponent; it's now a struggle for self-preservation.
Even if the desperate attack was successful, there's no way she could escape the hold unharmed.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Just a couple more seconds. She made a pull here, a twist here, and now just one good jerk to the side and-
Whatever she’d been planning for Yuki’s wrist came to an abrupt halt when she felt a kick knock against her head from out of the blue. It knocked her temples and rattled her skull, forcing her to release the hold on the girl’s arm and regain some air. Lucky little waif. It was all somewhat annoying. She was genuinely hoping to get at least a fracture out of that hold. But Manami came to terms with it almost as soon as it happened. She was glad Yuki had broken out. This wouldn’t just be a replay of her debut. Now they could have even more fun.
Still, it did disappoint her somewhat that she hadn’t managed to take her wrist. The girl’s screams were thoroughly pleasing. The Wolf Girl wanted to hear a few with resounding fear behind them. A blood-curdling screech one makes before they realize the inevitable end. No such luck this time, it seems. It didn't break, but the effect was painful nonetheless. Manami managed enough strain on the wrist to overwork the tendons. She’d be feeling that for a few minutes. Too bad they didn’t snap, but oh well. Baby steps.
Manami tucked in and rolled over her back, popping to her feet as she stood across the from blue-haired girl. The wolf saw the lingering fear in the waif’s eyes. The realization of who exactly she was facing off against. The danger finally setting in. Only, she had realized it too late. She had lost the initiative and was nothing more than the Wolf Girl’s prey. A supple supply of flesh and bone to ravage however she saw fit.
Poor Yuki. She actually believed she had a chance. Manami wondered what the expression on the girl’s face would be the moment the waif’s hopes would be dashed before her very eyes.
“I’ll give you once chance, Yuki-san. Drop to your knees. Surrender the match and leave with your body intact.” She brushed a bit of hair behind her ear. “You might not be so lucky, next time. Understand?”

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki quickly rolled away as soon as she got the chance to do so. She was lucky that she managed to get away in the nick of time, or else she might have to deal with a broken wrist. Still, she did not get away undamaged, as she felt her wrist throbbing painfully from what Manami had done to her.
Scrambling her way towards the ropes, Yuki quickly pull herself up using her uninjured hand. Draping one arm on the top rope, she leaned against the ropes and checked her wrist. She could tell that it's not broken, but it still hurt, making it hard to even clench her hand into a fist. For all intents and purposes, this particular arm had been rendered useless in this match.
"Gah... hah... hnngh..." Yuki was panting, almost hyperventilating. Her opponent was a terrifying one, a horrifying beast that sought to devour her alive rather than merely defeating her. She could feel her knees shaking from her fear towards her opponent. Still, Yuki quickly retained her composure, controlling her breathing and suppressing her fear. Once she kept herself under control, she was no longer shaking, though the lingering fear was still there.
She tried clenching the hand of her still hurting wrist again and flinched when she did so. She had to limit its usage for the time being. Ignoring Manami's words, Yuki would slip outside the ropes, standing on the apron while holding on the top rope with her unhurt hand. Her eyes, freshly wiped after she used her wristband to dry her tears, were focused on her opponent as she tried to formulate a plan. Now given a handicap due to her injury, her options had become limited.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
The hard way. Fine. That worked for her.
She liked the way Yuki move. Her gentle and fluid movements, the grace in her step, and, of course, the power in every swift strike. The determination in her eyes was what finished it all off. Even if there was a lingering fear behind that steel gaze, the girl knew better than to show it openly. That if she wanted to win this match, she couldn’t give her opponent even the slightest edge. Not even a mental one. In that way, Manami was glad when the young martial artist refused to surrender. She wanted to see her dance more.
Yuki slipped to the other side of the ropes. Recovering. Watching. Waiting. She was planning something. The wolf couldn’t let that happen. She took note of how the girl attempted to close her hand into a fist again, experimenting with her grip. She saw the flinch. The shakes. The slight twitch on her pain expression.
It was a good sign. The damage had been done and her hand was out of commission for the time being. In fact, even worse than that, it was vulnerable. The pain would be tenfold what it was if Manami were ever allowed to get a hold of it again. The thought of the agony it would inflict upon the cute little waif brought a malicious smile to the wolf’s face.
But first, she had to take her off guard. Get her down from that position.
With a sudden break of speed, Manami would hurry towards the ropes. She wasn’t aiming straight for Yuki, of course. Her opponent wasn’t stupid. Instead, she’d dive between the space beside her legs first, clutching the middle and top rope as she went between them, before twisting her wrists and turning her body, using the momentum to smack her legs right into Yuki’s back with a tiger feint kick!

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Tightly holding the top rope with her uninjured hand, Yuki carefully observed her opponent. As long as she didn't get within Manami's arm's reach, she was certain that she could avoid whatever she had in her mind. But, with one of her hands being out of commission at the moment, things would be hard for her.
Seeing Manami rushing towards her, Yuki braced herself. She was thinking that her opponent might go for a misdirection and catch Yuki off-guard, so Yuki managed to predict what Manami was planning to do as the Wolf Girl dove between the top and middle ropes, clutching on those ropes in her attempt to turn around and using her motion to deliver a tiger feint kick aimed to her back.
Acting quickly, Yuki would use the top rope to haul herself up, avoiding the dodge by moving herself up using the top rope before fluidly entering the ring with her back facing Manami. From there, Yuki would take two steps ahead, preparing to turn around before she attempted to land a spinning heel kick right at the face of the Wolf Girl, hoping that the kick could bring her down onto the floor outside the ring.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
What graceful movements. What a dazzling display Yuki Onna was.
In the back of her mind, the Wolf Girl had expected her opponent to anticipate her strike somehow. What she didn’t expect was for her to avoid it with such ease. She moved at just the right moment and with remarkable balance over the top rope. The blue-haired girl went high over Manami’s strike. Manami couldn’t help but admire her.
After her strike hit nothing but empty air, Manami landed low on her feet with her back against the middle rope. The next thing she felt was foot smacking hard against her face. It barely made sense at all. From what she saw, Yuki had her back turned.
Her composure could be truly impressive at times.
Manami went tumbling out of the ring. She slipped between the ropes and fell hard onto the ground outside of the ring. The back of her head bounced off the concrete, rattling her skull and forcing her to clutch the back of her head.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
Yuki managed to land her kick right on Manami's face with her spinning heel kick, hooking her foot around her head to hit her target. The kick managed to send Manami tumbling down outside the ring, hitting the floor. It's only logical for her to follow up with her attack. But, considering that one of her hands was injured, she couldn't use a move that required her to use both hands, thus a plancha was out of question.
So, Yuki decided to roll out of the ring, getting to the floor outside to continue her momentum. With both wrestlers outside the ring, the referee would start counting for the countout. Yuki would make use of this while she still had time.
Standing over Manami, the azure-haired wrestler would bend down in order to pick her opponent up by her head, clutching a handful of her hair to force her up. Then, she would try to drive her knee right between Manami's eyes, attempting to disorient her a bit more to give her enough leverage.
She needed to make sure that her injured hand was out of Manami's reach. She was sure that her wrist wasn't broken, or at least not yet. She had to keep it out of action to avoid aggravating it.

Re: Manami Kuroda vs. Yuki Onna - Snow and Wolf
That was the bad thing about getting hit in the back of the head. There wasn’t actually a way to defend against it.
It was soft and always exposed. Even covering it up didn’t do anything to mitigate whatever force came your way. That’s why it was vital for you to face your opponent no matter what. The moment the strike landed, it was already too late. You were going down. Plain and simple. It was just a terrible spot to get hit.
So when Yuki came down to capitalize on her advantage, Manami was in position to retaliate. Her mind continued to turn this way and that, as if the world were balancing on a pin. She felt a harsh grip on her hair as she was lifted up, so harsh that she could hardly believe it was coming from the same, placid girl that she had been facing off with. It was, however, and her intentions were clear.
The Wolf Girl took the full brunt of the knee harshly. Her face scrunched and she fell onto her back after a resounding smack filled the arena. The wolf cried out against the stunning impact as the crowd let out a collective cheer at the meek martial artist’s comeback. Despite Yuki’s newly given handicap, she seemed to be managing to turn things around quite well. She dodged a strike, delivered a strong counter, and landed a decisive strike onto her opponent. Who could not be impressed?
Even Manami had to give her compliments to the blue-haired fighter. She did it in the form of a chuckle, her fingers clenched tightly against the bridge of her nose.
