I can probably see the writers setting up Brock-Reigns for Wrestlemania, where Reigns will kick out of multiple F5s and win with a single Superman Punch + spear combo. Now that they've thrown away all the momentum he had, Braun will probably go the way of Kane and become "Corporate Strowman," playing bodyguard for HHH when he returns to feud with Shane McMahon.

Corporate Kane was one of the weakest Kane incarnations. Not because it was bad acting. Quite the contrary, Glenn Jacobs is a very, very good actor for a wrestler and some things were legitimately funny or even awesome with Corporate Kane.
But it was clearly the Twillight of his career and he was less of a real wrestler and more of a glorified bodyguard and enforcer with a business degree maybe.

I would be quite upset if Strowman would already be reduced to that as I see it as an upper midcarder role, or even if he was reduced to Hell no Kane in a Tag Team with a lucky tag partner who could go over at his side. This is the way to go for people who are really green, on their way out, in need for a repacking or retiring soon. Like Kane, he could be a fantastic Smackdown World champion if RAW is unable to use a guy like him as he has some of the best abilities of Big Show and Kane combined.

Not Smackdowns best effort, by far,

but holy shit that main event.

That is by far one of the best Hell in a Cell matches in the last 17 years. What a match, what a fucking ending.

Don't care how smarky you are, no way in hell did you predict Sami Zayn saving Owens.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this PPV in terms of just the thrill of some of the matches, including tag, Unites States match, and the main event. And it's amazing how just adding the lyrics to a WWE theme has made it one of my favorites.

Sami Zayn is the best wrestler non-Japanese wrestler on this planet today.

You could argue Styles, Owens, whoever is better in terms of skill, but one thing those guys don't have (except, occasionally, Owens) is emotion. Right after he pulled Owens out of the way, and dragged him onto Shane, you can read what he's thinking on his face alone.

So, yeah. Hope that heel turn gets his career on the right track.
