Adrian Kytes vs Navi Florges

With Adrian grabbing the bottom rope, and ref almost immidiately asking Navi to release the hold...she didn't.

And as ref screamed at her to release the hold, starting her count for the DQ, and Adrian screaming bloody murder at the blonde, she laughed over Adrian's insult, even after dropping the hold after the ref got to a 4 count.

"Well, at least I am not Microsoft Edge", Navi would say as ref pushed the blonde away from the brunette to allow her to recover from the hold.

"Ugh..." Adrian groaned weakly as her legs were left to flop down to the canvas with the rest of her, still holding onto the bottom rope as though it were a security blanket as her body attempted to uncurl her spine in the least painful way possible "Fuuuuuuck..." which was still pretty darn painful in the grand scheme of things. Navi had done a number on her and the refusal to break the hold was only adding to the former cosplayer's sour expression as she attempted to climb back up to her feet.

Navi waited in the middle of the ring, as ref stood between herself and Adrian to allow the former champion to get to her feet. Adrian took her time as the Crab did quite a number on her back. The blonde slowly believed that, if she continued to work on Adrian's already hurting spine, the victory would, without a doubt, be in her hands...

And as the former cosplayer tried to find her way to her feet, Navi's smirk would widen, as a cruel thought crossed her mind.

Getting around the referee, Navi would grab Adrian by her arm (despite the protest from the woman in the zebra shirt) while the former cosplayer was on her way to get back to a standing base. Navi would swiftly drag the brunette closer to the middle of ring, before trapping her head under her arm. From there, Navi would attempt to continue working the former champion's spine, attempting to lift Adrian up into the air for a Vertical Suplex!

Adrian flailed for the ropes as Navi yanked her away from the safety of the ropes and back into the danger zone, but the former cosplayer was by no means witless when the French woman slung her arm over the Brunette's neck. Thinking quickly Adrian looped one of her legs around Navi's so when the blonde attempted to lift it would feel like she was trying to lift herself up in the air as well, something that was clearly not going to work so long as Issac Newton had anything to say about it.

From there it was a case of timing, Adrian pulling herself down and rolling to the side in order to get a sneaky small package pin on the Blonde, attempting to squirrel away with another victory through surprise and technique as opposed to the traditional "fight until one stops moving" method.

Right when Navi attempted to lift the former champion off the ground, she found significant difficulty to do so. Specifically, once she pulled on Adrian's waste to get it up into the air, she felt herself leaving the mat along with the brunette, realizing that the former cosplayer had managed to counter the suplex by snaking her leg around Navi's!

The worst of the counter was yet to come, however, as Adrian would grab ahold of Navi's leg and head, pulling her down with her for a Small Package Pin!

"ONE!"

With how quickly the roll up occured, the blonde was confused for split second what happened, before the ref started counting the pin!

Quickly realising she was getting pinned, Navi spent a second realising the way out of her current predicament, all the while ref reached:

"TWO!"

"THR----NO!"

And just as the ref was about to administer the final count of the pin, right before Adrian got away with a sneaky win, Navi would push her leg forwards out of Adrian's grasp, and jerk her body upwards to break the pin!

It was cliche, it was cheap, but sometimes all you needed was a quick roll-up to break the opponents rhythm. Now Navi would have to be worried about Adrian sneaking another pinning technique whenever she was trying to build momentum and hopefully give the former cosplayer a bit of space now that she showed that she could get a two count out of a bad situation without leaving time to blink.

Still cradling her back as she was thrown off the blonde, Adrian attempted to pick herself back off the canvas, getting back to a vertical base before returning some of the damage with a European uppercut.

Navi angrily growled as she got back to her feet, both at Adrian for employing such a cheap tactic to win, and at herself for getting caught. She would certainly be more careful in this match to not try to get caught into another roll-up pin, else the match would end for her in a blink of an eye...

Right when she got back to her feet, the brunette had already prepared another surprise for her, as she grabbed the blonde's head and rammed her arm into Navi's head for a European Uppercut!

Navi did not realize the irony that she, a frenchwoman, was European Uppercutted by an American. Instead, Navi would try to return the favour, by grabbing Adrian's head, and launching her fist at Adrian's chin for an actual Uppercut!

Adrian afforded herself a small smirk as she sent Navi back with a swift swing of her arm only for the blonde to bounce back at the former cosplayer, yanking roughly on her brunette locks as the French woman pulled Adrian in for a painful uppercut of her own. The American wrestler's jaw was smashed shut by Navi's fist with an audiable "clack" as rows of teeth were forced against each other. But even as Adrian was reeling back, the former cosplayer was able to get a lash back, deliberately stomping her heel onto the top of Navi's boot.

Navi smirked back at Adrian as her fist found her mark, satisfyingly snapping Adrian' s jaw shut as the former cosplayer was left reeling from the hit...

...but not for long! As Navi raised her hands to protect her face from further harm, the ex-hardcore champion would instead drive her heel onto the blonde' s foot!

"AAGH! You cheap...!, Navi reacted as Adrian tried to crush Navi's toes under her boot. With an angry glare in her eyes, Navi would once again take a hold of her opponent's head by her hair, and pull it towards her forehead, trying to drive it nose first for a hard headbutt!

Adrian would have liked to have made a sharp retort to Navi calling Adrian's tactics cheap, but there was so much about a headbutt that made you forget your line of thought that lead up to you getting headbutted. The brunette stumbled back into the ropes once again but this time as she moved to bounce against them and shove herself back in, the dizzyness had made her misjudge the mark and the former champion was send falling over the second rope, bouncing off the apron and back to the floor, at least this time landing feet first.
