Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
Valley would’ve been extremely surprised if the jawbreaker knocked out Alicia. She wouldn’t have complained, of course, but it was such a remote possibility that it wasn’t worth considering. Though it would’ve been oddly funny - fighting so hard, going through so much, torturing each other to insane lengths, only for the match to end because of a fart of a move, an attack that hadn’t directly led to a pinfall since its creation. It wasn’t even the more damaging sit-out variation, because Valley didn’t want to leave herself that vulnerable in case she whiffed it.
No, she was more interested in making an opening. Which happened. Mission successful.
Now she just had to do something with it.
Valley went to her knees after the hit, and it was clear that it worked like she wanted, she threw her body back into a roll, coming down on her shoulders. She popped off that and came down on a foot and knee, landing near the center of the ring.
That was to get back to her feet quick and make some distance between her and Alicia, both for defense and offense. On one hand, it kept her safe in case her opponent tried some quick retaliation. On the other, it put her in prime position for her follow up.
Valley slid into a runner’s stance, stretching her leg out far behind her. After half-a-second to draw breath, she came bursting towards Alicia, throwing her all into a daredevil run. She closed in as quick as she could, leaped up and shot her legs towards the Scissor Queen’s chest, trying to dropkick her clean out of the ring.
Worst case scenario, Alicia managed to control her fall and land on her feet, but she’d have to come back in slow under the ropes, giving Valley a chance to capture her on the way. Best case scenario, she’d hit her head on the way down and make this all so much easier.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
Compared to Valley, Alicia was slower to stand, though the temporary daze induced by the jawbreaker was already starting to clear.
Which was just as well because she was in a stupidly vulnerable position and she needed to get out of it as soon as she could.
Her first attempt, unpractised as it was, nearly saw her tangle herself further into the ropes. Fortunately, she realised in time to stop, rethink and try again.
She didn’t know how much time Valley would give her but she knew it wouldn’t be long.
Shaking her head again, the redhead used the ropes to pull herself back to something loosely resembling standing. It wasn’t pretty but it was at least less of an invitation to hit her than just sprawling in the ropes.
It also gave her an excellent view of a blonde heading towards her at full steam, clearly with something painful and probably devastating in mind. On the other hand, going all in like that… Even Valley Doll probably couldn’t stop herself too quickly if anything went wrong.
Eyes going wide, Alicia didn’t have time to think beyond that. She just threw her weight down and to the side, desperate to clear the line of fire before Valley hit her.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
Valley’s line of thinking was fairly simple, when you really broke it down. She had Alicia up against the ropes, both figuratively and literally. Neither of them were close to their prime at the moment, but Alicia could scarcely stand. Yes, the redhead was good, almost preternaturally so, but that didn’t mean she was Wrestling Jesus.
She was having a hard time just getting to her feet, and while she was never slow, she didn’t have the Slamazon’s speed. That was an advantage she continually enjoyed. If Valley pressed the attack, she was confident she could catch her. Reasonably so. In theory.
But that was the thing about theories, wasn’t it? So often, they were dead wrong.
That was the case here, where Valley charged in where she should’ve shown more caution. She didn’t expect the redhead to lunge to the side like that, moving like she was an incoming car, and the result had her dropkick passing by, sending her through the ropes and to a potentially nasty spill on the floor.
By a mix of skill, grace, and pure luck, Valley was able to reach up and grab the ropes, saving herself...from the fall. Alicia, she had a feeling, would be a wholly different matter.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
Somewhat surprisingly, her plan had worked. In all honesty, she was amazed it had gone as well as it had – now she just had to make it work for her. Now she just had to finish Valley off.
Somehow.
Snatching at the ropes as she dropped, Alicia had managed to keep herself from going all the way to the mat as part of her escape attempt. It was almost entirely luck, with the awareness that she’d already been holding the ropes and had been more easily able to secure a second grip as she fell.
Better to take the strain on her arms than risk her leg more.
But it let her pull herself back to her feet not too far from Valley. The blonde too had stopped her fall and was temporarily facing the wrong way.
Grinning a mirthless grin, Alicia pounced. Almost literally. She went to throw her body onto Valley, looking to force the veteran to support the redhead’s weight at the same time as Alicia’s arms went to encircle her opponent’s neck in another Sleeper Hold.
If she could lock it in, conscious of the ropes and the official lurking to break up the hold, Alicia would then throw her weight back in an attempt to yank Valley free of her safeguard and down to the mat where she could choke her out in peace.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
For a shining moment, Valley had some hope. She was making her way up the ropes, getting some good progress, and it looked like she had a decent chance of being up before Alicia could capitalize on her mistake. She hadn’t look behind her yet, but how fast could she be moving? She wasn’t necessarily a speed demon when her legs were working fine.
That hope evaporated when a Scissor Queen-shaped shadow came over her body, and she had precisely half of a second before Alicia’s arms came over for the world’s most unwanted glomp. Valley was able to support Alicia’s weight for precisely half a second, before her legs buckled and she came crashing down to the floor. With her opponent on top of her.
This would’ve been the exact worst case scenario with just about any opponent, but with Alicia, it was the most horrifying experience possible.
Valley had only just started to squirm when those thick arms circled around her neck and clamped tight, putting a damper on all her plans for unrestricted breathing. She instinctively reached out for the ropes, but Alicia wisely stayed a step ahead of her, throwing her weight and anchoring them away from her salvation.
With the hold growing tight, all Valley could do was pull at the redhead’s grip, fighting hard for any sort of relief, no matter how brief.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
Alicia, problematically for Valley, had learnt her lesson after the last time she’d tried this. This time, she was making use of all her advantages – including her advantages in bulk and weight – to keep the blonde down. If that meant lying on top of her, squashing her, well, that might not be technical but Alicia was all about ‘simple’ options.
And she’d got her arms around Valley’s neck. And they were squeezing. Cutting off vital things from Valley’s brain.
As Valley had no doubt realised, Alicia’s legs were in no shape for a scissorhold. But that didn’t mean that they were entirely useless and the big redhead intended to prove as much.
Looping them around, the Brit went to hook her feet around Valley’s legs, not to squeeze – she didn’t lock her feet or anything – but to neutralise the blonde’s lower body and add leverage to her choke.
You could take the girl out of the Octagon, you couldn’t take the Octagon out of the girl.
And so long as she could keep Valley down here, down in her world, she was on course for a KO.
Alicia nestled her cheek against the back of Valley’s head to avoid any headbutts and let her arms and shoulders do the hard work of choking the blonde unconscious. The other woman’s tugging and pulling wasn’t going to get her anywhere, and with Alicia using her weight to full advantage now, it was just a matter of time.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
This was bad, Valley could recognize that, but it wasn’t beyond hope. Yes, Alicia was squeezing her neck and controlling her upper body, but her lower body? She could still use that. All she had to do was kick her legs around, whip around to the ropes, grab them, and-
Alicia had her legs snagged and wrapped up tight like some kind of human burrito. So much for that idea.
Okay, so that wasn’t an option anymore. Screw it.
Her head. She would use her head to get out of this. Not her typical style, she wasn’t a fan of headbutts in any form, but it wasn’t like she had much choice, here. She’d just pull forward, then snap her head back, and…
Alicia had her head secured. Great.
Options were limited and growing more so by the second. Each breath she took was shallower than the one that came before it. Air depleted. The hold was inexorable, relentless, unending.
Her arms flailed about, went crazy, reaching out for anything and everything to grab onto, and they found something: Alicia’s hair. Without even thinking, she gripped tight and twisted and fought as the last little bits of her life started to fade.

Re: SS 17 Entropy Title - Valley Doll (c) vs. Alicia Welles (Total Victory Match)
The big titantron that had been showing a moving AFW logo and occasionall displaying action replays of the big moves during the match suddenly cut to black and the spinning logo was shortly replaced by the picture of the owner of AFW, Cassandra Sellers. She sat behind her mahogany and pile of paper work with a unimpress look peering out from behind her black over rimmed glasses... One could never tell if she was truely unhappy, or if that was just her resting bitch face.
"AFW audience members and fans watching around the world from home... If I could have your attention please" She addressed everyone in a calm voice, delicately placing the paper that she had in her hand on the top of the pile to one side and then interelocking her finger with one another on the table "As owner of AFW the health and safety of my employees, the wrestlers you adore so much, is my top priority. And so it my responsibility to take action when it would seem that unneccessarily over-the-top violence is taking place." She thought about what she just said "Well, at least in certain high profile NON hardcore matches where the proper insurance and non liability paperwork is not in place." She leaned forwards
"So I'm afriad I am going to have to dissappoint you all and call this match to an end... I had hopped that perhaps it would have been obvious to some that a disqualification should have been awarded some time ago..." She said in a dig at the referee "But as that has not been the case, I shall end it as a no contest."
