Spring Tiger vs. Danika Gorski

Danika was excited, fresh off her second win in AFW, and first win against a legitimate foe! She wasn't giddy, but she was as close as Danika ever got to being giddy. Clad in her wrestling attire she made her way down to the ring as her music played. She walked right down the middle and paid no attention to the crowd, as usual. However instead of a scowl she had a neutral expression on her face. An expression that was a borderline smile.

This was a rarity indeed as far as the fans could tell.

Danika slid underneath the ropes and made her way to the center of the ring, knowing that she was facing a rookie fresh off a loss. That was a dangerous foe, a very hungry foe. Danika knew this woman was out to prove herself, and it was Danika's job to put her in her place at the bottom of the rankings.

The Czech woman stood with her arms crossed in the center of the ring, looking up the ramp and awaiting her foe with a patient, cold stare.

Haruna breathed deeply in anticipation for her second career match. Her debut match had been hard fought but ended in a heartbreaking loss. Despite the feeling of failure, She was able to take solace in the fact that she had tried her hardest and even formed an unlikely friendship with the girl who had pinned her. A girl, Haruna came to respect and look up to.

Tonight the rookie was determined to redeem herself. She had learned a lot from her first match and trained hard in preparation for tonight. She wouldn't let her first defeat change her positive outlook. Haruna slipped on her treasured Tiger mask, carefully tying the strings on the back. Taking another deep breath Spring Tiger would clench her fists and whisper "Yosh!"

when the time came, Spring Tiger would sprint down the entrance ramp sliding under the bottom ropes. She would climb up the turnbuckle and a wave to the audience. She would do the same on the opposite ring corner before returning to her corner.

Spring Tiger sized up the girl across from her. Her opponent was slightly shorter than herself but the rookie wasn't going to let herself underestimate the girl. She decided to act more cautiously this match in hopes of avoiding any embarrassing mistakes.

So this was it? A kid wearing a mask? Danika kept her stare focused right on her foe not wavering for a second. Danika readied herself as Tiger moved about the ring. "So you think some mask makes you a mystery? You look like a child on Halloween ready to ask for candy." Danika said as the bell rang.

The Czech began to circle around not sure what to expect. Danika's strikes were the best thing she had going so she saw no reason to change from her usual tactics. She moved in and spun, swinging her leg up in an effort to hit Tiger in the side of the head with a spinning roundhouse kick!

"Go back home little girl!" Danika taunted as she sprung into action.

The bell rang and Spring Tiger assumed a wrestling stance. She had been grinning excitedly but but her face soon turned to a scowl when she heard her opponent mocking her pressure Tiger mask, the symbol of her family line. The rookie had too hold herself back from charging forward. She took a deep breath and kept her eyes on her opponent, watching her every move.

Right away her purple haired opponent moved forward spewing more insults followed by a powerful roundhouse kick. it was far to strong to block or catch but Spring Tiger was able telegraph the attack and ducked under it with cat like reflexes.

There was nothing Spring Tiger hated more than not being taken seriously. She was now determined to force her opponent to her talent and accept her as a formidable opponent. "Don't look down on me!" The masked girl yelled as she countered with an Enzigiri kick.

Danika missed her kick and glared. This rookie had the audacity to talk back!? Danika turned to return the favor to her. "Shut up you little..Arrgh!"

Danika turned just in time to have Spring Tiger literally make her eat her words as her attack connected, hammering Danika with a swift, precise, and hard hitting enziguri! Danika's head whipped back from the impact and her body followed suit as she toppled down onto her back in a heap!

The dazed Czech was shaking her head, unable to get up right away. She was wide open for the impressive rookie to continue her assault!

The hit connects beautifully with the Czech women's head. Spring Tiger's heart pounded with excitement. It had only taken one move for her to get back into her usual mindset and she couldn't help but feel a little pleasure in making her rude opponent eat her words.

Quickly climbing to her feet, the rookie would move to capitalize on her successful counter. The masked girl would attempt a leg drop across her downed opponent's chest before taking the woman by the arm, pulling it between her legs for an Arm Bar submission hold.

Danika was down and out of it when Spring Tiger moved in and placed Danika in a hold! Danika screamed out and began flailing as the armbar was locked in! She thrashed about unable to get out of the armbar. Danika looked over and saw the ropes, bucking her hips to move closer until her foot reached the bottom rope!

"Rope break ref! You let me go now yes!?" Danika shouted out to Spring Tiger, hoping that this woman was the type to honor rope breaks.

The tiger masked girl couldn't keep her opponent from moving toward the ropes, but she was determined to make the purple haired woman's trek across the mat as painful as possible. Leaning back, Spring Tiger would bend her opponent's arm back painfully until at last the the referee yelled "Rope break!"

Spring Tiger quickly let go of her opponent's arm as she was instructed. She would summersault backwards before jumping to her feet, assuming a fighting stance. "I hope I've proven that I'm not your average opponent!" Spring Tiger shouted as she waited for her opponent to stand up.

Danika glared at Spring Tiger as she slowly got to her feet, shaking her head. After taking a deep breath maintaining eye contact Danika gave a very slight nod to acknowledge what Spring Tiger said. It was so slight that her foe may have picked up on it but the crowd surely would have missed it.

Danika shrieked as she rushed forward straight at Spring Tiger once more and opted to go for some offense that was far from fancy. Danika stepped in and swung a fast, hard punch right at Spring Tiger's jaw! A punch in the face was hardly elegant but when it connected it was simple yet effective!

"Gahgh!" Spring Tiger exclaimed as her opponent's fist cracked against her head. She had been surprised at the Czech woman's sudden charge and had been to late to properly defend against the incoming attack. She had underestimated her opponent's speed and would need to take it into consideration if she hoped to win the match tonight.

Disoriented, the rookie would stagger back and drop to one knee. Gritting her teeth and holding her head, she would maintain eye contact with her opponent, watching for any oncoming attacks while she was in this vulnerable state.
