Discord IDs

So. I've found myself using Discord more and more lately.

And with AIM dropping support completely for it's older versions soon (*sob*), I'll be switching over to Discord for my main messenger, I suppose.

(I'm kind of surprised no one has set up an AFW Discord room. Hm. <__<)

I never even heard of Discord, until AFW the IMs I knew were Skype, MSN Live Messenger (before it was canned and merged with Skype), AIM, YIM, and Facebook messenger. AFW introduced me to Trillian so now I'm curious on whatever IMs I'm not aware of.

Discord's a newer thing that's gotten a lot of popularity in the past year or so.

It has a really nice browser based version, a standalone desktop version, and a smartphone app.

It's a simple messenger that has extremely good chat room support (and is used especially for that). Usually for gaming stuff, but I've been using it for other things too.

I like it. It serves my purposes well.

I've been thinking of setting up a Discord Group Chat for AFW.

I think there already is one, cause I'm in it

I suppose if anyone else would like access to our Discord server in the future, they can post in this thread and let us know.
