AZUMI vs. Lucy Stone

Azumi pushed her hips up into the knee of Lucy, trying to stretch it out as far as she could knowing that every bit was going to count in her favor at this point in the match, she would attempt to crack up the pressure even more on the leg as she attempted to wrap her arm around the back of Lucy's ankle to place the most leverage and pressure she could muster! If she could keep Lucy down by taking away one of her legs, it'd set up for her finisher! That was why this hold was so important to keep. But Azumi also knew that she couldn't stay in this for long, she needed stamina for that final minute in the match.

She knew that she wasn't going to get a submission victory out of Lucy, already in this painful submission the Chicago girl refused to tap. Choosing to release Lucy, Azumi would push her feet off of the mat to roll backwards, using the momentum to get to a kneeling position. She would watch and wait, her eyes locked on Lucy as she waited for her red head opponent to rise up onto a knee. If the opportunity was given to her, she would begin running towards Lucy, looking to step off of her knee and attempt to deliver Shining Wizard!

Lucy shook her head and grit her teeth as she would try and find a way out of this painful position, the Chicago girl wasn't doing so well though and soon enough she got herself to start thinking about tapping. She wouldn't though! instead she tried to reach out for Azumi as best she could, if she could grab onto anything then she could apply a hold that was 10 times worse and force the H.E.A.T champion to tap!

Sadly that wasn't what happened, as when Lucy started to reach out for her opponent. Azumi let her go and rolled away from her. The redhead was quick to try and push herself up to her knees. Wincing from the pain in her knee and leg, which kept her down there a bit longer...long enough for Azumi to charge up and smack her knee and leg into Lucy's head! The kick snapped the senses right out of Lucy as the Chicago girl crashed onto her side in a seemingly lifeless heap.

Bashing her knee into Lucy's head as hard as she could, Azumi flew down into the cover with her back landing on top of the red head. The Chicago native was definitely someone who was worth the effort for Azumi to list her as one of her first victories in AFW after a brutal and exhausting affair. Hooking the leg as well as the head of Lucy, Azumi attempted to push as much of her back into Lucy for as much weight and pressure to keep Lucy down!

"ONE!"

Azumi's back pushed into Lucy's chest as her leg was hooked as well, the redhead's head was spinning, or felt like it. She didn't really know where or what she even was right now. Was she Lucy Stone? or Eric Estrada? Who knew.

The crowd got silent for a little bit as the count continued, it looked like Lucy wasn't about to kick out any time soon. The second slap against the mat came and the ref-girl shouted out loudly.

" TWO!...."

Azumi kept her arms locked around Lucy as she arched back into her opponent, she wasn't planning for any back up plans in case this didn't work, her Shining Wizard was her greatest weapon that had won her a many matches and her confidence in her move was not going to be questioned as she waited with clenched eyes for that final count.

"THREE!"

The second that the count finished, Azumi's body loosened as she released the leg and arm as she rose her arms in victory. Panting and sweating, Azumi was pleased to start off her AFW with a hard fought win. She would work her way to her feet, adrenaline of victory powering out the fatigue of the match as the ref girl raised her arm in victory as she smiled out, raining with cheers from her fans before coming to AFW and some new ones that she'd won over!

The three count came and the match was over, Azumi had managed to beat Lucy and if the Chicago girl was aware of what was going on she'd be pissed and probably fairly disappointed in herself. She was currently to loop and foggy in the head after that painful shining wizard to fully know what was going on, and that would probably be the case for a few more minutes at the very least.

The only thing that was certain was that Lucy wouldn't let this defeat go unanswered....that was for sure.
