Valley couldn’t believe it.
She was looking at her arm, she could see the teeth marks on her extended glove, the pain was searing, and yet she still couldn’t believe that Lea had actually bitten her. Thirteen years of wrestling, hundreds of matches, more than she could count if she had all day to do it, and not once had anyone ever sunk their teeth into her skin.
Not until now - and it was a strong bite, too. If not for Valley’s long gloves covering her forearm, it probably would be bleeding. She made a mental note to give her tailor an email for extra thanks.
”You actually - geez!” She hissed and started to push her way up, groggiling getting to her feet. ”I can’t believe you actually-”
Lea had a chair. Of course she did.
Valley didn’t bother hiding the panic on her face. That chair wasn’t just a piece of metal, it was the end of her championship reign. One good shot from that was all it would take to end her at this point, and her body was aching too much to run away.
She had to stay. But that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing…
”Well, goldilocks?” Valley smiled through her wince, as she pushed up against her knee to rise. ”Waiting for something? Come on.”

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
In truth, Lea had already forgotten she had sunk her teeth into the beauty. Much like how moments ago, both women were being forced to collide against countless tables, surfaces, and a teapot or two. She was the sort of woman who lived in the now, but in scenarios like this, even more so.
Especially when 'the now' involved trying to imprint Valley Doll's good looks onto the chair she now held.
Without any taunting needed, she'd begin pacing back towards the champion with chair in both hands. Of course, such a thing didn't stop Valley from taunting her, as once more Lea found her hair style victim to insult.
It didn't matter. She couldn't possibly get any angrier.
Lifting the chair up high as but a few metres remained in between the two, Lea made exactly no effort to hide where her blow intended to land.
Right now, a body shot would not do. She wanted Valley Doll unconscious. A desire made apparent, as she brought down the chair with every ounce of strength left in her.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
Timing. It all came down to timing.
Valley had an idea. It wasn’t the best idea, especially since her body was having some trouble moving, but it was the only one she could see that would have her not getting plastered in the face by the chair. She wasn’t wrestling it away from Lea, that was certain, and if she tried to dodge, she’d likely not have enough energy to avoid the followup, even if she was successful. That left one option, so far as she could see: attack.
When Lea moved in and started to raise the chair up, Valley picked the right moment, then went in action. She spun about and leaped up at the same time, shooting her foot with a spinning heel kick, aiming right at the chair itself - which, if all went according to plan, would wind up hitting Lea in the face.
It wasn’t the easiest move to do, particularly with her body aching so much, and it came off sloppy. Not the right amount of torque, slower than she would’ve liked. But if it did connect, it might be enough of a blow to make Lea drop the chair. If not, well...she’d cross that bridge when she came to it.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
Valley had buckets of ideas, pages of strategy on how to respond to the raging blond approaching her packing every ounce of power and force she had left in her. Lea only had one.
Cave in Valley's skull.
Approaching, the blonde beauty brought her choice of weapon down so fiercely, that even if Valley herself had dodged, the resulting impact felt like it might of shattered the very floor. Metaphorically.
But Lea didn't have to think about hitting or missing. In fact, she didn't have to think about anything. With the chair forced up into her skull with that precise sideways thrown kick, the blonde found said weapon flying from her hands after it had made contact with the base of Lea's skull. Just like the near entirety of the match prior, Valley had played Lea.
The blonde would stumble back, dazed beyond all measure, arms stretched out as if to grasp on whatever she could to brace herself. A shame, that there was literally nothing besides Valley herself within a good few metres of Lea, and given the blonde was stumbling in the opposite direction from her foe, she certainly wouldn't be making use of her as a brace.
Somehow though, despite Valley kicking all sense out of her, all power to fight back, Lea still found the resolve to stay standing.
She'd fallen far too many times to her foe.
She wouldn't fall again. Even if she might as well of being lying down at this point.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
Judging from the gasps that rang out across the stadium and down the hall, Valley had surprised everyone with her out-of-nowhere, desperate kick. She could include herself in that number, too - a part of her didn’t think it would work, was almost expecting her to fail spectacularly. In a way, it did, since she had to crumble to her knees the second after launching it. But she didn’t see it as mattering too much.
She’d just get to her feet, pull Lea up and go for…
Valley had begun to rise and turn around, only to stop dead in her tracks when she saw that Lea was still standing. Not moving, mind you - she was stunned. But the fact that she was on her feet after a shot like that wasn’t just impressive, it was downright scary. Everything in Valley’s experience told her that this woman should have been on the floor, counting her teeth to make sure they were all still in tact. But no, she was up, and in a few moment she’d no doubt be on the attack again.
That couldn’t happen. She knew it. So, in a move that was half rage and half panic, Valley charged forward, willed her legs to move as fast as they could, and moved to tackle Lea to the floor, fully intending to just throw it all away and punch the woman into submission, if that was what it took.
It was only at the last moment that Valley noticed the stairs at Lea’s back...

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
Lea's hands still searched for something, anything to aid her stance. She didn't know how long she could keep her posture given her eyes had yet to stop metaphorically rolling, her upper body bending backwards and forwards, appearing for a moment as if the entirety of that dense frame was made of flimsy jelly.
Finally, she'd fall forward, not literally, but with hands to her knees, still standing. Now supporting herself, she'd gaze with those soulless eyes upon the floor, trying to comprehend just what the hell was happening to her.
Bringing her right up to the mark where the chair had made contact, she'd give it a quick yet firm rotation with her palm, as if trying to massage the pain away. The ache didn't reduce, but clarity came to the blonde psychopath, as she finally remembered what the hell had just happened. And how much she'd intend to pay Valley back for it.
Only, Valley sought to give her no chance.
Tackled off her feet for a small distance in what was essentially a spear, seconds would feel like minutes after Lea's back had fallen a certain point. In every fall, let alone a tackle, there'd be a certain point your back would feel contact from the floor.
Lea felt no such feeling. Only a sharp, piercing corner to her back. Before several more joined her.
Shoved down the stairs perhaps inadvertently by her foe, Lea's own body would wrap around Valley not of it's own free will, but simply because moment forced her to. Rolling down what felt to be never ending stairs, the blonde challenger would share the pain with Valley, as the crowd roared, completely uncertain as to how on earth either woman would fair when they finally reached that bottom step.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
The next few seconds were just a blur of pain and confusion.
Valley remembered falling off the steps, though it almost felt like she was flying, really. She and Lea were in a tangled tumble, careening downward with no control. Someone was screaming, she could hear it clearly. Maybe it was her. Couldn’t have been Lea, obviously.
She remembered hitting a step on her side, then there was a searing pain, then...well, nothing. Nothing she could see, anyway. She went unconscious, everything turned black, and her last thought was a faint worry that she might not wake up...or like what she saw when she did.
Thankfully, though, she did come to. Valley was groggy, slow to rouse at first, but her eyes quickly shot open to see one of the referees looking down on her and kneeling at her side. Somewhere off in the distance, she could hear the bell ringing and the audience groaning. The match was over - even the AFW wouldn’t let them continue after that. ”Valley?” She gave the champion a shake. [b]”Valley, are you okay?”[/color]
”I...yeah.” Valley did a mental check of her whole body, trying to fight through the pain enough to tell if anything was broke. She hurt all over, sure, but she could move her legs. Her hands. Her neck, even though there was stiff crick up there. Nothing too serious, she thought, though she would definitely need to get it looked at. ”I’m good. I’m good.”
She tried to sit up, then decided it was way too much effort and laid back down again. She could see that they’d lucked up and not fallen too far - the steps only went so far down before they had a long flat part between the sections, and that kept them from going too far down. Thank God for small favors.
Valley would walk away from this, though, with both her body and her belt. As for Lea, well...she had a feeling her opponent would be less than happy with the outcome.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
The stairs the two women had become victim to, were not cushioned for a fall.
The average arena for events such as this seated thousands, nay, tens of thousands. With that level of attendance being reached weekly, countless times since the arena opening, one should not need to say how sturdy the infrastructure would have to be. The stairs were solid concrete, built so that countless individuals would scale them over a great distance of time without them ever becoming deformed.
They were not cushioned for a fall.
Had Lea not shared her descent with the champion so evenly, she would of most certainly suffered a injury. Her head was tucked over Valley's shoulder, which protected it from the majority of harm, but her back suffered no such help. What made her fall so much worse than Valley's however, was that she was not immediately rendered unconscious like her foe. She'd still land upon that flat surface dead to the world, but not without being fully aware of a good few steps more than Valley making contact with her back.
Noticeably, she would awaken later than Valley, albeit such a fact didn't matter. They were both rendered unable to fight, it did not matter if Valley rose first.
A separate official from the one that tended to the Champion soon tended to the blonde, flashing a small light at the blondes eyes which had only just begun to react.
"Lea? Are you with us? Lea?"
Much like her foe, Lea felt like she was broken in two but luckily suffered no great injury. She was covered in bruises from head to toe, her face still a great shade of red after the many chokes she had suffered, with the countered chair shot being the icing on the cake, but the bones beneath her skin will still all together.
Lea soon 'awoke,' sitting up far too quickly for a woman in her state, soon wincing from the quick rise as the official stumbled back, eyes wide as if witnessing the dead rise before her. She had fallen a good distance away from Valley in the final steps of their descent, but her eyes would soon scroll around apparently seeking the beauty.
God help the one who had to tell Lea the match was over.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
When Valley first came out and issued the challenge, she somehow hadn’t imagined she would’ve wound up with battered bones at the end of some steps and a match that ended in a No Contest. If she had, she frankly would’ve given it all a second thought. Or, bare minimum, she would’ve worn some extra padding.
But that wasn’t the case. It happened, they fought, and it was over. Thank God.
It took some doing, but one of the officials was able to help her up to her feet...her aching, wobbly, shaky feet. She needed help to stay standing, but she could sense that the pain wouldn’t be permanent. She’d just bed rest. A lot of bed rest. Preferably with her girlfriend nearby, massaging sensitive parts and nibbling earlobes, as needed.
But she couldn’t just leave, could she? Lea was right there. After a match like that, well...she knew what her mother would want her to do. It wasn’t the smart thing, but it was the right thing. It was the wrestling thing.
Valley tugged the official, getting her to walk over towards where Lea was being tended to. When they were close enough, she extended her wavering hand to the hardcore wrestler, giving her a nod. ”Good...good match. You fight hard.”
Despite all that they'd been through, it felt like something she should've been congratulating. Enthusiasm was never an inherently bad thing in wrestling.

Re: Entropy Championship Title Match: Valley Doll (C) vs LEA - Only The Strong
Lea received the same offer of aid, the same official as the one that awoke her alongside another coming to her side. She'd shake her arms free from their grasp with a grunt, as ever preferring to do things by herself. She'd rise, albeit in near twice the time it took Valley, given she had done it purely from her own strength. After all, in her mind, the match was still on.
It was only when Valley had closed the distance, did everything suddenly become clear to the blonde. The fact the officials themselves had gotten involved. The fact that Valley herself was so coy and friendly again. And arguably worst of all for the blonde, the fact an official was making his way with the belt in hand, visibly outstretching it to offer it back to Valley.
For a second, anger vanished from Lea, as the blonde adopted a face akin to a child just having been told Santa doesn't exist.
Only for a second mind. Lea soon comprehended that whilst she hadn't technically lost, she most certainly hadn't won either.
Her already reddened face would begin to lose colour once again, as absolute fury took a hold of the woman. She'd let loose a low roar as her hands outstretched, instantly going past the hand offered to her and instead looking to either throttle Valley, or outright claw that smile from her face.
Needless to say, she was quickly restrained. By two members of security no doubt, one to each arm, each of which were now seriously reconsidering their career choice as they held the blonde, who whilst tired beyond belief, soon began to thrash.
