Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi was up when Samiya moved in. She wasn't able to react and found herself in a grapple with her foe. Suzumi strained and struggled, knowing that if Samiya was down that would work out so much better for Suzumi. She tried to break the grapple and reach down to grab at Samiya's knees to grab and pull back, putting Samiya on the ground on her back!
From there Suzumi could go for a Boston crab to keep the pace in her favor. However, she also knew that breaking the grapple to try to take Samiya's legs out from underneath her was a big gamble. Samiya was a smart wrestler. Suzumi could only hope that this gamble wasn't going to backfire or place her in a compromising position for too long, allowing Samiya to take advantage of her instead!

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
To Samiya’s slight surprise, Suzumi didn’t try and dodge around or duck under or try any tricks. No tricks at all, instead walking more or less into locking up with the shorter submission fighter. It put her in a bad spot, contending directly with the Schoolgirl Assassin in pure strength. There was no question of Suzumi being a weakling but Samiya’s stocky form simply packed more power than the taller veteran’s body.
In a straight test of who was stronger, there would only be one inevitable winner.
Samiya. Who dug in her heels, pushing back hard as she tried to close the distance on Suzumi. Winning might, in her view, be inevitable but that didn’t mean she could just sit back and let it come. She needed to work for it and she fully intended to do just that.
Of course, Suzumi was going to be equally aware of that issue and even more keen to avoid it. Samiya found herself staggering forward as Suzumi pulled free of the grapple unexpectedly. And then went for her knees.
Acting quickly, the shorter woman dropped to a knee, which wasn’t exactly a great choice but did let her keep one foot under her. Trying to get herself under Suzumi, she tried to throw the other woman over her head in another Fireman’s Carry Slam.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi thought she was putting one over on Samiya, however that was not the case! As same dropped and ended up lower than Suzumi she found herself going over Samiya's holders and through the air before landing on her back! She hit the mat with a loud thud, She howled out in agony as her already damaged torso kept taking more. Suzumi's body could only handle so much, even if she herself wanted to keep going.
Suzumi laid on her back, trying to roll over onto her stomach to slowly work her way to her hands and knees. However, she knew Samiya was not going to sit back and let her get up. She had to be ready for anything Samiya threw her way.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
It hadn’t been a certainty that the Schoolgirl Assassin would manage to counter. The Tsunami hit with the speed and ferocity of her namesake and the counter Samiya was trying had been as much instinct as anything planned.
But it had worked, allowing her to seize the veteran and slam her down with a brutal Fireman’s Carry – the sound of the impact and the relative ease with which it was executed reminding the audience of how strong Samiya was despite her small frame.
Not that she expected it to put Suzumi down, of course. Oh no. It was no surprise at all to see the experienced wrestler relatively swiftly making it on to her hands and knees, but still too slow in her quest to regain her footing.
Ideally, the tattooed fighter would have liked to capitalise earlier but she was not as fast now as she had been at the start of the fight. This would have to do.
Leaping up into the air, Samiya aimed to come back down with her knees slamming right into Suzumi’s already abused spine. It wasn’t an elegant move but it would both do damage and allow Samiya to set up the other wrestler for a submission hold further aimed at weakening her back and body.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Right as Suzumi was about to get up she felt a tremendous force hammer her Spine sending her to the canvass again!
She howled out in pain, wheezing to recover the wind that was knocked out of her. Suzumi flopped about weakly on her stomach as pain shot up her already hurting back. Samia had hammered Susumi's already hurting body once more and the effect was evident as Suzumi lay on the mat, not even attempting to get up.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
The knee drop connected and connected with considerable impact, dropping the Tsunami back to the mat and leaving her in a considerable amount of pain.
With her knees planted firmly across Suzumi’s back, Samiya felt her next step was obvious. She could, true, have shifted around for something like a Boston Crab or a Sharpshooter but she felt she wanted to try something a little different.
With her opponent barely moving, she reached over and went to lock Suzumi’s legs into a double toed leglock with one hand. With her other, she grabbed the other wrestler’s chin, then the Assassin went to roll over onto her back.
If successful, she’d then be able to pull down with her arms and push up with her knees, further brutalising Suzumi’s spine with a sadistic Bow and Arrow hold. Not that she actually expected to earn a submission this way, but there was still plenty of mileage in battering that lower back as much as she could.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
As Suzumi was bent back and angled up she screamed in agony as her lower back felt like it was being snapped in half!
Suzumi was in a bad spot needing a way out. She grabbed at Samiya's grasp digging her nails in as she tried to pry herself free. Despite her best effort she was still stuck. Desperate she swung her elbows down at Samiya and reached her hands to try to reach or claw at Samiya's face in a bid to free herself.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
The crowd were silent as they watched Samiya torture the veteran grappler, locking her in the Bow and Arrow and wrenching her back until the other woman screamed like she was on the rack. They weren’t in easy or obvious range of the ropes, taking that obvious escape route off the plate, but that didn’t mean Suzumi was out of options.
In fact, it was something of a good news, bad news situation for the Schoolgirl Assassin as she dealt with her opponent’s resistance.
Good news… Well, the good news was that Suzumi’s elbows were barely able to hit Samiya. They could only score glancing blows to places where the solid wrestler was able to just ignore them. That was the good news. The bad news however was that Suzumi was perfectly capable of reaching her with her hands and the lack of room didn’t stop her clawing at Samiya’s face.
At first, the tattooed wrestler tried to minimise the problem by turning her head but her opponent was understandably if irritatingly persistent.
Despite that, Samiya did her best to grit her teeth and keep with it. Pushing up and releasing with her knees, she did her best to bounce Suzumi up and down, looking to jostle her into either a submission or at least quitting the clawing. But, unless Suzumi quit clawing, sooner or later she'd have to give up the hold.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
Suzumi's screams of agony were growing louder, and her clawing became more desperate. She cursed herself for being so dazed that she couldn't reverse this situation before it was locked in.
That didn't stop Suzumi from trying to escape now, here devastated spine needed immediate relief. Suzumi howled as she tried to grab Samiya by the hair and pull forward and back, jarring her head as it was bounced off the mat.

Re: Suzumi "The Tsunami" Ishikawa vs. Samiya Kusanagi
As she worked the hold and the clawing diminished, Suzumi’s wailing getting louder all the while, Samiya started to think she might actually be able to get a win here. Maybe. And, if she couldn’t, much more of this and Suzumi wasn’t going to be in a fit state to fight back.
And then she could get a submission or a pin at her leisure.
But then she felt a hand wrap itself in her hair and pull.
Samiya had and would do a lot of things to win her matches. But she could at least pride herself on never having stooped to pulling her opponent’s hair.
While she might have been able to take the clawing or the hair-pulling, having her head bounced off the mat on top of all that was more than Samiya was willing to accept by way of punishment.
Growling to herself – not pleased at all with the veteran’s cheap tactics or herself for falling for them – the Assassin threw a final vicious jostle into her hold and then shoved Suzumi free. Samiya herself rolled away and then to her feet. With any luck, Suzumi would still be down and she would have a chance to drive a brutal stomp into her opponent’s already pained back.
