Heart and Passion vs Mitsuru Satou and Ryuunosuke Tachibana of S.E.M.E.

Standard Match: Victory is Determined by Pinfall, Submission, Countout, KO, or Disqualification

Upbeat and cheery entrance music flared up as Katherine Hart and Matthew Pasión emerged at the entrance to the AFW Tension arena. The pair of masked wrestlers waved to the crowd and began to make their way down the ramp to the ring. Kat was noticeably bouncy and energetic. Matthew was more reserved but wasn't hesitant to smile and interact with the fans. After giving a few high fives and hugs, they'd make it to the ring. Kat slid under the bottom rope and into the inside while Matthew hopped onto the apron and then over the top rope to make his way into the ring. The two took their place in the corner, performing some light stretches and readying themselves for their opponents.



"Be on your guard, cat-lady. These guys we're facing tonight are some real contenders. They're part of a well-established team that's been in this league for a while." Matt warned. He didn't take a ton of time to do his homework on his opponents before matches, but he'd at least pick up on whatever his manager told them about the teams they'd get booked against. Katherine would answer her tag partner with enthusiasm and confidence.
"Then they're the exact kind of team we wanna beat if we wanna make a name for ourselves around here! Let's do it!!" She said whilst raising a fist in the air, hyping up some of the fans at ringside.

Though only two of SEME's roster would be wrestling tonight, the team never made an appearance without all three members gracing the stage. The trio appeared jets of spark and a remixed version of the Japanese national anthem, waving to the fans while retaining their cool demeanor on the way down to the ring. Ryuu was the first to step up towards the ring, shrugging off his coat into Hikaru's arms and climbing up next to the turnbuckle. He stepped on the middle rope with one feet and grabbed the top rope with his hand, making a huge gap for Mitsuru to enter through once she had given her coat and glasses to Hikaru.

As the only member not participating, Hikaru flung the coats over each shoulder and set Mitsuru's sunglasses on his head with a grin. He cheered after his teammates as he backpedaled towards the backstage area to watch from afar, but always ready to run out and make a splash if the team needed it.

Once inside the ring, Mitsuru thanked Ryuu as she strode forward with hands confidently placed on her hips. She knew their opponents were luchadores from the research she'd done on them, and was counting on them providing a real challenge to SEME's teamwork. So far, SEME had only participated in singles or 3v1 style appearances, so tonight would be the first opportunity to show AFW and the rest of the world what SEME brought to the table as a real team.

"Remember what we discussed, and stick to it" Mitsuru chided authoritatively towards Ryuu behind her, earning a somewhat annoyed grunt in response. The fact that he was out here rather than Hikaru (arguably the better wrestler of the two men) meant a few things. Firstly, it meant Mitsuru had a plan, she always had a plan. But secondly, and probably more importantly, he felt like she also wanted him out here to teach him something.

With that small exchange out of the way, Ryuu climbed back outside the ropes and let Mitsuru advance towards the center of the ring alone. She'd extend a hand to shake for whichever member of Heart and Passion would start. "Here's to a lively match" she'd smile friendly enough, but her gaze was so intense it told you she would show no mercy once the match began.

The trio that was S.E.M.E. would appear to the tune of a remixed anthem and some pyrotechnics that hyped up the crowd. As the three made their way to the ring, Matt took a good look at them. "Let's see. One's big, one looks scrappy....and she...she looks pretty sure of herself." Matt would voice his observations aloud. "Yep. We going about this the usual way?" Kat acknowledged him and inquired about their team strategy. Señor Pasión would reply with a simple nod.

With that, Matt would choose to remain in the ring, near his corner, while Kat stayed on the apron. They didn't know which of the two team members they'd be facing. But the team of Heart and Passion didn't seem perturbed at all. The masked duo looked on with steely resolve and confident smiles. They'd observe their opponents enter the ring in pretty standard fashion. The audience was very receptive to them. Most anyone watching got the impression that they were pretty cool. Even Hikaru, who had functioned as a glorified coat rack for the sake of this entrance, didn't have his coolness factor hindered. The dual coats and sunglasses were a good look for him.

After he made his leave, Matt would notice Mitsuru beginning to walk towards the center of the ring. He would walk towards her and meet her there and shake the lady's hand. With a glint in his eye that exemplified his fighting spirit, and that same confident smile, he'd respond to her. "Indeed. Let's make it one to remember."

The bell would soon ring after his response, and he'd begin to circle the ring, expecting Mitsuru to do the same. He'd begin to pick up speed rather quickly and try to slip behind her to apply a Waistlock from behind!
